I took my Frankie Doll on that trip to Arizona last year and had fun taking pictures of them at almost all the places we visited and it felt a shame that they'd all just sit in my phone, so I decided to make this blog to share those and any future pictures and fun I have with my dolls. I don't/can't post new stuff super often, but I'm letting myself also have fun with my dolls at home (picture-wise) so I have more stuff to share between trips out with my Frankie, and have currently been working on a little mini comic thing.

Currently I only take my spare Core Refresh 1 Frankie out on trips. I bought them on sale specifically for traveling with because I don't want to risk the dolls in my collection getting lost or damaged. So they probably will be hogging the spotlight on the travel/vacation posts. My other dolls need to get their moments, too. They might get to go on smaller trips, like to the local park or something, but I'm anxious about taking them on bigger trips. My dolls are plastic, but I treat them like glass. XD ...Though I just remembered I have some pics of the time I took one of my BJDs to Canada and maybe I should dig out the pics from that to post here. (That trip was in the pre-covid world so the pics are older, and that's also one of the reason I get anxious about traveling with my dolls. Customs at the boarder was not gentle with searching my bags. I got home with some stuff damaged because of it. Luckily not my BJD, but yeah, he could have been damaged.

Took Frankie with me on the annual Friends-cation weekend.

One of my friends who was on the trip decided they needed to hang out with the trophy and he made sure it happened. so shout-out to him for the trophy shot.

Got the Boo-tique Hotel when it was on sale for $40 and I finally got around to unboxing and building it....

The sign's sticker came upside-down.

Not sure if I'm more amused or annoyed by this detail.

((I also got one for my niece's 7th birthday, she was super excited for it. She's been asking for a doll house for her Monster High dolls for a while but they're so expensive I always would tell her that it was something to ask her parents or Santa for, so she was extra surprised when I gave her this one. (yay big sales!) I built it for her and set it up in her bedroom with all her dolls/doll accessories as a surprise. (I did forget to take pics) Her sign was not upside-down. I'm glad she got the one without sign wonk.))

Anyway, I have this now so I can set up cute scenes with my dolls. Expect pictures of it! I have a few pics to share already, nothing big, just using a couple dolls that were already laying out on my desk to scratch the itch. The room I plan to set up the hotel in is "under construction" as it were so it's being kept folded up and tucked out of the way for the most part until we finish up redoing that room.
