You can hear the sound of falling #water- not a trickle but a steady, loud flow. In the distance, softer, #birds call to one another. The #sun is warm on your bare arms though your hands are cool from the water. You lift your eyes from glowing yellow flowers and radiant green plants to the #sky. It's clear and blue- a blue that's lighter around the edges as it outlines trees and mountains. Such a blue that fills your eyes and mind and seems to stretch on #infinitely. Everything is #beautiful. When in a #moment, with the soft sun and your back and a gentle #wind in your face, the unmistakeable scent of ripe #apples drift to you from a nearby #orchard. That moment becomes perfect.

We sat down to dinner at our seminar professor’s house, and somebody started talking about how orcas will sometimes flip sharks upside down, explaining that this causes them to go into a state of tonic immobility.
