Finishing off a text message, the criminal’s dark chocolate eyes rose to gaze at his favorite detective. “Hello, clever boy,” he purred, approaching the other after pocketing his phone, “Did you miss me?”
"Mm no." The urge to roll his eyes was a strong one but he held it in check...just. "Sorry I missed the funeral, things came up." His gaze flicked briefly around their surroundings before focusing on Moriarty. "Rather public isn't this?"

"H-Harley?" He tried to cover up that little stutter by clearing his throat quietly. "What are you doing?"
Comforted by the silence, Sherlock’s eyes slid closed, a contented sigh falling from his lips as her fingers stroked through his hair. Everyone else was always so loud, it was nice to have someone who didn’t feel the need to fill silences with empty words and could just sit and be peaceful. It relaxed him more than he could describe.
Absentmindedly, a hand slid from his hair, tracing gently down sharp cheekbone, over the curve of his lip, and ending circling down a hard jawline. They’d both fall back to sleep if this lasted much longer, but she couldn’t find a reason to speak, or climb out of bed. It was a rare moment when he allowed himself to feel without thought. They were the best, soon he’d remember who he was, and that this whole thing scared him to pieces.
His eyes snapped open at that touch and he shivered before he could stop himself, starting to pull himself away before he realised what he was doing and stopped himself. Taking a moment to calm his breathing he gave her a weak smile before closing his eyes again, giving himself over to her for the moment. He didn't exactly trust her completely, it was time to test if she would harm him in anyway.

"Mm Mycroft will murder you when he finds out." Sherlock muttered, slumping onto the bed and spreading himself out next to Nathaniel. "Clever boy."
"Silly teenagers." Sherlock teased, leaning in close to drag his fangs across Nathaniel’s neck before letting him escape. "I was never like that." It was unfortunate in some ways and not in others. All in all he was rather grateful for it and he brushed Nathaniel’s hair out of his face as the younger straddled him. "Mm clever idea, it might actually work." He rolled his hips uselessly upward against Nathaniel’s and smirked at the boy. "It’s too easy to distract you."
It was memory that made Nathaniel shudder more than the actual drag of the other vampire’s teeth, a sad side-effect of all the details of being transformed. Utterly maddening to a biology major, the track he’d gotten a Bachelor’s degree in before medical school, never once imagining the myriad discoveries of meta-humans.. if they could be called that.. god, but he wanted to get Sherlock beneath a microscope.
"You’re made of sin and evil." He complained without heat as he was teased. It was double the teasing! Nathaniel was still young enough of a vampire— too recently a human, that his body felt like it should react as before, even though it couldn’t. It was only memory that dictated that he should blush and groan when rocked against, the rest of him was dead and uncaring, unable to respond. "Do you know how evil it is that I had sex all of once before being killed? I get to spend eternity looking at your fine ass like an octogenarian with erectile dysfunction. Anyway.. I know I’m brilliant.. think about it.. finally being able to get high again."
Sherlock notice the shudder and grew back from Nathaniel's neck, making a mental note not to touch him there with his fangs if he could help it. He wasn't considerate as a rule, what little humanity in him had been sucked dry by centuries of living alone. Regardless it seemed to be a simply common courtesy and he obeyed it without question.
Chuckling softly he rested cold hands on Nathaniel's hips and easily pushed him off his waist. "Only once? Count yourself lucky, I was virgin when I was turned, you changed that of course." He couldn't help but smirk at the compliment and he swatted at Nathaniel playfully. "It would be interesting...."

"This is my bed John." Sherlock muttered, pushing the blogger to the edge of the bed and rolling onto his side grumbling quietly. "You have a bed don’t you?"
John’s tone was met with a raised eyebrow as Sherlock lifted his head from his pillow, all the better to gauge John’s reactions and he frowned slightly. “We have a sofa.” He pushed at John and again and moved to grab the duvet back from him. “I couldn’t test how quickly warm corpse decompose in my room.”
❝Oh, ‘course. Right. But my room was good enough?❞ The last statement makes him cling to the bed like the entire sense of human existence depends on it; John is going to fight for what is his. If Sherlock kills his bed, the detective has to pay with his own. According to that rule, his hands clench on the material of the duvet and tug once more, pulling it closer to himself. ❝If we’ve got a sofa, why don’t you go and sleep there, huh? ‘Cause I’m not going anywhere.❞
"You weren't using it at the time." Even with his poor understanding of appropriate social cues he knew it was a poor defence. Even so he wasn't going to surrender his bed over something so petty. John could get a new bed, why was this such a problem to him? The second tug of the duvet made him pull a face and he yanked it back hard.
"This is my bed. Why would you want my bed? It's mine."

Sherlock frowned slightly but decided not to question it. Of course he was warm, he was lying in a warm bed. But he didn’t want to interrupt this…thing that was happening between them. He enjoyed the feeling of her fingers in his hair, he didn’t want it to stop.
When didn’t her fingers play in his hair, merrily using the locks like their own personal playground, the dark strands better than any swing or slide could ever dream to be. Eyes falling shut, she sighed in contentment, and enjoyed the peace in their silence. She often thought this was why he kept her around, because she could remind silent for great lengths.

"Drink my blood then." Sherlock offered simply, reaching out to curl his fingers into Nathaniel’s hair and pull him closer. "You’ll forget one addiction in favour of a stronger one." He couldn’t help but raise an eyebrow. "Who were the drugs for?"
He followed the tug on his hair obediently.. sort of. He followed, but not without giving Sherlock a wet lick, the opposite of a bite, his tiny bit of rebellion. “Stop trying to distract me.. you know that biting you makes me hard.” Embarrassing but true, those precious few minutes worth of a heartbeat wasted on fueling his young libido. Whacking lightly at the elder’s arm, he sat up, straddling his waist casually. “It’s for whoever we grab later. I’ve got a theory that intoxicating them before feeding from them will provide a sort of shot-gun effect.”

Blindly reaching for the duvet, he then tugs on it to release some from the detective’s grip and claim as his own from the night. ❝Thanks to your bloody, stupid experiments, my bed’s gone. So I, uhm… Yeah, I’m just gonna sleep here. Whether you like it or not.❞

Her yelp melted into a giggle, arms circling his neck, fingers laced into his messy hair. She isn’t sure what she did to insight this reaction, but she hoped she’d trip over it again. “Thank you, it’s mainly cause I snuggled up to you.”

"Being a leech is no cure for addiction." Nathaniel answered, though much more quietly than before. The very thing that made him a vampire fledgling made him cower whenever his elder snarled, much to the young man’s frustration. "Anyway.. the coke wasn’t for me to snort.”
