Hello!

It’s been awhile! I am here to make my first monthly update! I’m glad to be doing so, I’m happy to be working again! But where are we? I’ll tell you, I’ll tell you! We’ve returned to production in the past few months! Writing, storyboarding, conceptualizing, and completing the pitch bible! Folks working on this happy home are giving it plenty of tender loving care! (And I am so grateful for their help!) We have a lot planned for our drop later on this year. I'm very excited to show you folks what we’ve been working on when the time comes! (Timely on my part, I hope!)

In other news, I am sorry to say that this month will be the last for our Ko-fi before we close it down. The support you have given this project has been unbelievable and you saved me when I needed it most, so thank you for the attention you’ve given our Ko-fi throughout the years. It has always been fun to share a bit of what we’ve been working on. However, I feel as though I can no longer properly update and take care of the Ko-fi in a timely fashion alongside my current workload. For that, I deeply apologize and thank you for all the support you all have given Welcome Home. We may return to Ko-fi at a future date, so we won’t entirely say goodbye to it. Our final upload is on Ko-fi!

However! I would still like to keep us all in the loop! The way I would like to go about it seems like a silly idea, but I’ve been thinking about it for a while now and I hope it will be possible later this month! So I hope you can bear with me as I experiment! (Because we’ve got some other news to share too!)

When will ZaDr antis realize that aging up characters to sexualize them isn’t a ZaDr exclusive issue, don’t get me wrong it is really bad that some do that but it even isn’t the vast majority?? Besides that isn’t even the only thing wrong with aging them up. It’s the fact that they’re aging up a 11 (during show run) to 12 (movie run) year old to pair them with someone who is canonically around adult age in Irken years and well over 100 in human years! And if they aren’t aging up Dib, they’re aging DOWN Zim??? To justify a PEDOPHILIC ship. It’s not just the sexualization excuse. Besides! THE SEXUALIZATION PROBLEM IS WITH THE WHOLEEEE FANDOM. Not just them, they’re just the vocal few. If you’re gonna comment on that comment on the whole fandom as a lot aren’t as innocent as they state just because they’re not shipping a child with a grandpa - sincerely a ZaDr anti who has been in this fandom for years now
