ABSOLUTELY DESTROYED
I dunno man, I would’ve liked for Carole & Tuesday to have one more episode and have it be an epilogue. As much as I dislike time jumps I would’ve been happy with an epilogue that takes place a month later.
Aside from that, the finale was pretty good.
BRUH.
So, I just saw PROMARE at my theater and this is probably gonna be me for a while.
Bruh. . .
I have no words.. PrayForKyoani ❤
Kyoto Animation, thank you for giving me some of my favourite anime of all time. I pray for those lost and their family's.
I have already seen people mad and complaining about anime being postponed..... these were people, with people that loved them please try to keep that in mind, what happened today was tragic and cruel it will take time please give them that.
SEASON 2 OF ISEKAI QUARTET ANNOUNCED!
They also announced that new transfer students will be joining the class.
Possibilities are running through my mind.
I hope the wait isn't too long.
Kurosai back with his amazing editing skills.
These three were my most disappointing anime of Spring 2019.
In order from left to right.
Fairy Gone:
I really wanted to like this show. On paper, this anime probably seemed like a neat concept. With P.A Works working on it you knew this was going to have great animation too. Unfortunately, the animation and the background music during fights are the only good things about the show. I won’t say that that the main characters are unlikeable, I just don’t really care for them. The story is a bit confusing early on because of people and made up countries having complex names which makes it hard to remember who’s who. The monster designs range from bland to kinda neat. On top of this, the show leaves you wondering where the story is going, and not in the good way. Maybe the second season that airs in Fall will be better.
Gunjou no Magmell ( Magmel of the Sea Blue):
Another show with a neat concept and disappointing execution. The first two episodes of this series were great but after that the anime slowly got less and less interesting. Inyou is shown to be overpowered but the series constantly tells the viewer that he isn’t which is a weird mixed message. Also, his and Zero’s relationship isn’t really explored until episode eleven. The supporting cast is also pretty bland consisting of a scientist and his daughter, a billionaire, and a disgruntled shop keeper. A good number of the action scenes are also pretty boring with Inyou overpowering every monster. Episode eleven actually sets up a somewhat interesting story that will continue into episode twelve. Will it be enough to redeem this season? Probably not.
Shoumetsu Toshi (After Lost):
If anything this anime will serve as another example that even well-liked animation studios like Madhouse can fumble from time to time. It had a rough first episode but I thought it could still be somewhat good. This wasn’t the case at all. For starters, the animation is bland. This could have been remedied by a good/interesting story but no. A lot of times the episodes are boring or tedious with the main characters also sharing these traits. The show never really gives a satisfying explanation as to why some characters can use supernatural powers. The pacing is also weird with the third episode deciding to use an idol concert as a way to explain the show’s supernatural phenomenon. Ultimately this all leads to this anime being forgettable.
With every episode, Carole & Tuesday keeps making its case to be the best anime this season (for me at least). It just keeps building on its momentum and episode 9 this week was just so good.
Fort/Stay Nite
“ […] and so, so beautiful.”
That Carole & Tuesday OP is the best of the season.
