⚜️Cair Paravel Aesthetic⚜️
The halls of Cair were white and silver, lined with gold. They sing songs and tales of their Kings and Queens, echoing from the walls. Four thrones on a dais, two Kings and two Queens, rulers of the Narnians’ golden age. They rule magnificently with just, they were gentle and valiant. The sea was their view every time they held court, the sky that looked after them from their glass roof was their limit.
The hour is later is later than you think. Sauron’s forces are already moving. The Nine have left Minas Morgul.
Destiny can go fu–
“I’ve never been able to trust somebody to not let me fall before.”
Kings and Queens + Quotes
You are a good man…
To all the boys I’ve loved before,
I will never love you as much as I love Peter Pevensie
“The bow of Legolas was singing.”

Little moments in Narnia
• lying by a crackling fire looking up at the Narnian constellations on a breezy Summer night
• walking through the wintery Narnia woods in moonlight and hearing the songs and hooves of dancing fauns somewhere in the distance
• Cair Paravel just as the sun is rising- the hallways filling with golden sunlight, the rest of the castle not yet awake
• Standing on one of Cair Paravel’s many balconies at night, listening to the Narnian music floating in from the ballroom and the lively chatter, but also the quiet mysterious sounds of Narnia at night just beyond the castle
• walking barefoot along the sandy beach and warm water below Cair Paravel as the sun is setting
Anyways, you know the scene at the beginning of Prince Caspian at the train station when Peter is in A Fight? Obviously I hate the reason they gave for why he was fighting, but there was always something about the scene itself that still felt right to me. And thus I present a more in-character reason for Peter to be in that seemingly stupid fight:
I think it would be true to say that the core motivation in this scene is that Peter is trying to reclaim what it means to be King, much like was said in the film. However, “He bumped me and tried to make me apologize,” is… nothing like High King Peter at all. Peter wouldn’t hit someone for simply being rude to him - in fact, in a situation like this, I doubt Peter would make the first hit at all.
But what if there was another boy - smaller, younger, weaker - getting picked on by a group of bullies? Maybe Peter would consider walking past, Susan’s words echoing in his head: you’re not a king here, these aren’t our people. But that’s not Peter.
So he steps in, and tells the bullies to stop. They snicker. “Move along, this isn’t your business.” Peter tells them again, aware his voice isn’t as commanding as it once was. Again, the bullies laugh. “What are you going to do? Make us?” Peter stands firmly between them and their victim.
They hit him first. He’s just one boy, they think, not any bigger or stronger than we are. Besides, he got in our way. Who does he think he is? We’ll teach him a lesson.
Peter thinks, at least it’s me instead of him.
When Susan sees this, she’s frustrated. How many times has she told Peter, (and the rest of them, too,) that this is foolish? They’re in this world, now. They’re not kings and queens any longer.
When Lucy sees, she understands. If they cannot take care of their people, they will take care of these instead. But Lucy is small, and has no dagger, and she knows she won’t be much help to Peter now. Still, she wishes.
And lastly, when Edmund sees, he doesn’t need to understand. All he needs is to have his brother’s back. He trusts Peter’s reasoning, and the fight is unfair. There’s no judgments to be made, only action to be taken.
This happens a lot, not only in this year, but in the years afterwards. Peter doesn’t go looking for fights, and he never starts them, but he can never walk away from someone in need, either. Peter doesn’t hit first, but, however unwise it may be, he’ll usually hit back.

THE AUTUMN NARNIAN GIFT EXCHANGE.

Lasaraleen had always been like that, interested in clothes and parties and gossip. She didn’t in the least mind making people stare; in fact she rather liked it.
THE AUTUMN NARNIAN GIFT EXCHANGE.
for @jillpcle by @calormen .
her name was LILLIANDIL, and she was the daughter and inheritor of the great star, ramandu. a queen of both land and sky , her hair was spun stardust , and within it shone the sky of a world unknown to any narnian born creature. though those from our world — like the good queen lucy , would look at those mirrored stars and know a great comfort , as the star queen held the constellations of earth in her hair, and narnia in her flesh .
