He would watch you practice your game while “reading” a book.
After that, you two would chat about books and music.
Sometimes over coffee and cake.
One time, you dragged him into a hat shop just to try on hats for the sake of pretending to be the Mad Hatter.
In exchange, he brought you to the music room at night to play the piano for you like The Last Song.
He was so beautiful at night. A true night Prince.
The moonlight was filtering through the big windows in the music room, illuminating the sleek black piano with the black and white keys and his dancing fingers on top of them.
You couldn’t help but join in, a solo became a duet.
A duet became dancing on the wooden floor with Bach playing on Spotify.
Dancing under the moonlight in the dark became the moment where you two truly realise what you meant to each other.
And that was Happily Ever After
