okay but if there’s one thing i’ve realized from dan at pride it’s that since he’s come out he’s so..... happy. every single moment you see him, he’s full of pure joy. rather than cowering in a corner and being overwhelmed, he’s marching right down the middle of the street with a massive smile on his face. rather than ignoring the outpour of fans who can obviously see him because he’s quite tall, he more than happily walks out of his group and takes a moment to take pictures with them. hell, he even RAN up to a fan to take a picture as if he already knew them. he just seems as if this year he’s taken, and, eventually, coming out, has put a new spring in his step that’s allowing him to be so much happier both around his fans and in the world in general. living his truth with pride is truly making him happy, and that’s absolutely incredible to watch.

I don't think we've ever seen dan so genuinely, completely, happy before. It's not just a grin today, he's radiating joy. I'm so incredibly proud of, and happy for, him.
