(For those of you that have previous starter chains with me, I'm trying to catch up on them now! If there are any in particular you'd like me to focus on (or drop), let me know!)

"Yeah...it might sound simple but it's not. A lot of wild animals are out there and that's not even thinking about the humans. I know you're doing this to help me and I get that but if it was meant for me then it might not be so straightforward...I got this axe an' all, you know?"
*Basilio knew he might have come across as angry but truthfully the Paripus was just worried and concerned for Myra's safety. Normally a mission that was meant for him or Fidelio usually had hidden risks involved, even the seemingly simple ones.
The two brothers were just so used to it that they didn't stop to think would anyone else be able to handle it if they ever left or if one of them was unable to deal with the tasks at hand. What was unfolding right now was a variation of those worries. Since the male figured the Ishkia wouldn't back down he sighed thinking of a compromise and then after a few minutes it came up with one.*
"How about this, you can do the mission wit' me then neither of us are in too much danger. That's a good way to deal with this right?"
*The Paripus could tell there were a few things on Myra's mind. As for himself Bas did wonder a few things himself, especially who was the one who had allowed her to accept his mission in the first place? After all his missions weren't as simple as some of the newcomers or those in lower ranks. There was always some danger involved. Her question did make him ponder it for a moment.*
"Probably a bit of a walk, like I said...I can go for a while without getting tired. Tha' and I guess I look scary to some people. So probably have to shake someone down too...if you don't want to look when the time comes you don't have to. Some folks, need a lot of convincing."
Myra nodded. "Alright, that's fine. Seeing as we aren't sprinting to get there, I should be okay for a while." She then took a deep breath, releasing it in a soft sigh. "And as for that...I've seen plenty worse, I'll be fine."
Her hand lifted to brush against her ornate igniter. She's quite familiar with the visuals. A simple shakedown- if there even was one- shouldn't shake her, hopefully. As a healer, it would hurt. But she knew that, if it boiled down to it...There was only so much she could do, if they weren't cooperating.
She lifted her head up to look at him, hiding the thoughts behind a small smile. "If I'm coming with, then I'm going to help however I can. I'm not going to shy away."

*After Basilio let her leave the shop first he would exit after her. Now that they were dressed accordingly there was no reason to delay the mission any longer. So the Paripus started to lead the way to where he had heard the items were supposedly located.
To be fair it was a long trek so they might have to either camp for the night or look for somewhere to stay but that could be decided closer to the time.*
"If you need to rest let me know, I can go for a bit without getting too tired so it wouldn't be right for me to do that to you."
Myra stuck close, dividing her attention between seeing where Basilio would go, and their surroundings in the off chance that something could grab her attention.
Though...Just what exactly was he sent out to get? Thinking about it now, if Bas was the one sent to get something...They either needed someone who could clear out "obstacles" with ease, or someone who could look threatening enough to make the task simple. Both of which the Ishkia was quite incapable of.
The fact those soldiers agreed to let her go alone at first...Hm. Was it really just getting some items? She should've asked for details before speaking..
Once Basilio spoke, Myra shook away her thoughts. She let out a soft chuckle before replying, "Alright Bas, I will." Being free like this, though, made her feel like she could walk from Brilehaven to Grand Trad with ease. How long that energy would last was up for debate. "How far do you think we'll have to go?"
Maybe, in another life...We could've been friends.

*Since there was nothing keeping them in the store anymore Basilio agreed with Myra. It really was time to get back back to the mission. The detour was worth it though, she seemed so happy despite the small incident with the vendor. Not that Basilio could control how people viewed Paripus.*
"Yeah, we really should. It will probably take us a bit of time to track down what I'm looking for. Are you ready?"
*As he asked Myra that he opened the door and gave the vendor a small nod as he did. Couldn't risk shaming Lord Louis by snapping after all.*
Myra picked up her shield and slid her arm through the strap. Gripping the handle, a quick tug fastened the belt securely onto her arm. A handy thing, learning the right amount of pull without making it too tight.
With everything in order, she walked to the door. Looking up at Basilio, she nodded with a beam. "Ready!"
With less room for tripping, she won't slow him down as much, hopefully.

*Basilio while no expert on women's clothing did his best to check if it passed on the idea of being able to be easy to move in. By the looks of the outfit it did and as a bonus it really suited her. As such as soon as Myra and him settled on this the Paripus bought it for her.
However it seemed the teller was a bit wary of any Paripus and so was obviously suspicious on how he got the money. That being said money was money so they didn't ask too many questions and that was for the best. It would be a bother to bring Louis's name for as something as small as clothes shopping.*
"Yeah, it looks great if you don't mind me saying."
Myra had to keep herself from squinting at the teller. It was a shame people didn't see things how she did...Maybe someday. She was grateful the hassle was minimum, as the last thing she wanted was an argument in a clothing shop.
"Oh..!" Upon his compliment, the Ishkia turned bashful, rubbing the back of her neck with a warm smile on her face. "Aw, thank you Bas." The affirmation had caught her off guard, though she was certainly thankful that he thought so. And while she knew that this was supposed to be a gift for her, she couldn't help but try to think of ways to repay him for the clothes. It wasn't exactly every day that someone buys another an outfit.
Not wanting to sidetrack them much longer, she then spoke again "Now...Shall we get back to it?"

"You don't have to worry about it. I was going to do it anyway, we're just shifting the way a slight bit. 'Sides we weren't given a deadline so why not take our time?"
*Honestly Basilio wasn't sure what to pick out for Myra so the Paripus decided that she should pick out her own outfit and he'd pay for it. As long as it was good for all sorts of terrains it would be fine so there was no harm in trying on a few outfits to see what suits the best.*
"You've got a point.." Her hands fidgeted with one another, weirdly nervous, for a moment before she gave a nod. "W-Well, alright. Thank you..!"
The sidequest for a more appropriate outfit took a little while, as it seemed Myra was putting quite some thought into the choice. First came ruling out options: dresses, skirts, baggy pants and long sleeves were too easy to snag on things. Yet, despite that decision, she steered away from shorts entirely.
Then came accommodations. Having wings made things...A bit difficult. Being large and fluffy, a regular top would be pushed around with most movement. It was why she preferred the open back of her dress. But with some luck, she found a sleeveless shirt that had something similar! A round hole cut into the back, with enough room for her wings.
At last, the Ishkia had settled on that shirt, and a pair of pants that weren't baggy. A smile clear on her face as the outfit felt comfortable and, in her mind, would fair far better while out and about. "I-Is this alright?" She asked, wanting the opinion of the mission expert- between the two of them, anyways.

*Honestly Basilio couldn't help but be happy for Myra. She finally got to do something outside of the runner for once although with the caveat that he had to accompany her. Still it was a small price to pay for some freedom.
Upon looking closer Bas realised just how awkward her outfit would be if they had to go too far from the town. So to help her and to give her a gift he decided to do something different.*
" 'ow about this, we get you something to change into first and then we can keep going. If you were to fall or climb it might be a bit hard 'sides I was gonna give you something for a job well done. This can be that."
Myra had a sparkle in her eyes. Determined, alert, and overall happy to be out and about. The fresh air felt good on her skin and feathers, and the atmosphere certainly beat the runner. Even if it was for a mission, it nearly felt like a...Mini vacation of sorts.
"Hm?" She looked up at Basilio briefly, before stopping to look at her attire. "O-Oh, good point.."
Perhaps she should've asked for more details about this trip before asking to trade places, as the thought of needing to climb something concerned her for a moment.
The Ishkia then casted her gaze back up, a bashful smile on her face as she released one side of her dress to rub the back of her neck. "Aw Bas that's really sweet of you. But- Are you sure?" In her mind, they hadn't even finished the job yet- much less decided if it was 'well done' or not- so it was a bit early. Though the fact alone that he was going to give her something anyway was touching.

"Now that that's taken care of let's get out there and show 'em all just how good we can be."
*Basilio couldn't help but be excited, after all it's not often he gets to go on a mission that isn't explicitly to fight. That being said the Paripus knew not to get too carried away, they lost a lot of people because they didn't take their mission seriously.
However to ease Myra into the things he would lead the way out of the Charadrius and out into the streets below it.*
"You might want to stay with me but let me know if you see something we need or something you like. I'm sure we can take a detour."
"Alright..!"
Myra grabbed her dress, lifting the bottom up just enough that she wouldn't risk stepping on it while walking after the Paripus. While she wasn't bad about tripping on her own clothing anymore, it was better to be safe than sorry. Though the thought of getting more activity-appropriate clothes did cross her mind..
As suggested, the Ishkia didn't wander, opting to hover by his side. A little gleam in her eyes as she finally got to do a mission. Now she just needed to keep an eye out for their objective!
"I can't rely on you forever, so let me try on my own..!"
(I feel like Myra would try and train herself on her own some nights, just trying to become more capable however she could,, It's also an excuse to draw her in other outfits kfdkjg)

*Basilio wasn't an idiot, he could tell what he had said probably caused her some doubt but all the male wanted to do was help her. After all if this mission was meant for him then there were bound to be enemies, be they animals, traitors, enemies or humans.
In all honesty it would be hard for most people on board but here it was only the strongest survive and should one fall in the line of duty it just meant they weren't strong enough. This time Basilio couldn't let that happen so he came up with this compromise.*
"Thanks and after that 'ow about we get something to eat as a reward. It would be fun to do this together and you will be able to prove to everyone you are capable to be out here."
"Fun..?" The Ishkia echoed, a soft utterance under her breath. Given her lack of on-the-field use and little training in anything other than healing...She hadn't expected the word fun to be used to describe any mission involving her.
Though, it was Basilio. And with him there, it was going to be pleasant either way. Even if she originally wanted him to take five, he is boundlessly good company!
A smile made its way back onto Myra's face. She may slow him down...But they'll have a good time. That's what matters.
"Yeah..! That would be...R-Really nice."
(Had a silly little thought while at work: What Pokemon would Myra see the others as? Which led to me pondering that for a few hours straight dfkjghfd,,
In the end I came up with this)
(Though it's only Fidelio, Basilio, Rella and Junah,,
I mainly based it off appearance, vibe, and ability [by accident]
I had tried thinking of what Zorba would be, but my brain was torn and couldn't settle on 1 singular Pokemon for him, which I suppose is fitting)
(Thinking about it now, Myra would probably see herself as a Pidove or something similar)
