Myriam is a affiliated with either family. As a cleaner, she’s like a fixer, but with less violence and more in the shadows. She covers up crimes and murders, constructs and provides alibis, made people disappear, and (sometimes) may blackmail people if need be. She does not murder others, break bones, or violently threaten people. She offers her services to those who are willing to pay and does not have any loyalties towards any particular organization. When she was living in a bigger city, she used to have regulars who would call on her to take care of crime scenes. Obviously, Myriam is super secretive about it and may be selective about her clients. She is usually contacted by a special phone number that she has. The people who have her information agree not to just give it out to anyone, but may at times give it to others if they need it (like how you’d give someone a reference). 

She uses a flower shop called "Magnolias on the Move" as a guise for her business. Sometimes, she'll have people she's employed to help her and maintain things and keep up appearances. Myriam took some classes in self defense and martial arts in order to protect herself if she needed to.

"I'm a doctor," Myriam said, not disclosing that she was a doctor for the dead and not the living. Most people didn't like to hear that she was a medical examiner. "Do you want me to look at that or not? If not, we should probably take you to the ER right now." She motioned towards the person's injury that had blood dripping down onto their clothing. It didn't look broken from afar, but she couldn't be sure until she got a closer look. It could certainly be a case where it looked worse than it actually was. Myriam hadn't seen what happened, but she heard crashing sounds and gasps from onlookers. She'd pushed her way through the crowd and then finally saw the person on the ground with the injury.

Myriam Moussa was born to proud parents Farrah and Michael who ran a business cleaning crime scenes. She was always a morbid child and a bit of an introvert. She wasn't very close to her brother beyond the necessary responsibilities of being the oldest, but she loved him dearly. She spent her time reading and learning new things and took an interest in her parents’ business. However, Myriam was originally studying to be a doctor, specifically a surgeon. When she got older, she often times had to look after her wilder younger brother who often times caused trouble. Their father was hard on them and Myriam never really liked him since he was especially hard on her brother. She was and has always been very protective of her brother.

Myriam’s father became much more upset and aggressive when the family business went under as larger crime scene cleaning companies took over their client list. Her father and mother struggled to get back on their feet due to the Great Recession. It all came to a head when her father tried his luck with gambling in an attempt to get the capital they needed to expand their cleaning business. But his luck never came and they went further into debt. What was worse was her father became more dependent on alcohol and his aggression and abusive nature increased, so much so that he began to occasionally attack Myriam and her mother. He was particularly hard on her brother, especially when he would step in to protect Myriam and her mother. It never sat well with Myriam to be protected by her brother since she was the oldest and he was her responsibility ultimately.

One night, Myriam’s father became much more aggressive after a long night of drinking and gambling and attacked Myriam’s brother. Myriam’s brother stabbed his father with a knife in self defense. Fearing he killed his dad, but too scared to call the cops after one too many run ins with them, he called his sister. When she came in, she saw her brother on the floor that was covered in blood and her father on the ground with a knife in him. Myriam, knowing she’d do anything to protect her brother, told him to go leave. When he was gone, she took her father’s body and cleaned up the scene. When she went to bury her father, she saw that he was still alive. Myriam knew she should have helped him, but after remembering everything he did to her and her brother and mother, she bent down and put a piece of plastic over his face.

Once the deed was done, she finished cleaning everything and went back to her brother to create a story for what happened. They told a story with just enough detail that the investigators weren’t suspicious but not enough detail for them to keep up the search. Eventually, it wasn’t worth the resources and the case went cold. After that, Myriam finished college and eventually went to medical school to become a medical examiner, not a doctor like she’d originally planned, hoping to become a voice for the deceased. While she was in school, she again used her talent of covering up crime scenes when she helped a fellow student cover up an accidental death of another student, but for a price. Following that second incident, she started her own business to become a cleaner for anyone who paid for her services.

At some point, Myriam lost track of her younger brother when they both went their separate ways. She would send money back to her mother and tried to help her brother, but it seemed that he did not want her help and she lost contact with him. Recently though, with the help of a contact, she’s tracked him down to a town in Montana embroiled in a war between the Walkers and the Byrnes. She applied for a job as the medical examiner for the town and promptly moved there. It’s only a temporary move as she plans to reconnect with her brother and then move to a bigger city again, but it seems like this town might have more to offer her...and her business.
