Here is my contribution to @meabhd‘s coloring contest! She did the lines, I did the coloring. 

I had sooooo fun with this, mostly cause they are Harry Potter characters (Parvati Patil and Lavender Brown) but also cause I tried a new coloring technique! Turned out to be great practice and something I’ll definitely try again.

Snape Appreciation Month day 8: Hogwarts Years One thing is for sure: Snape is intelligent. And I wanted to show it in two pictures: in the first he’s probably in his first or second year, while in the other one he’s in his seventh year. A fact I remember from the books/movie is that he has the habit to hunch over books and papers (see the Owl exams), so maybe he always keeps this position when he studies and concentrates? P.s. as usual, lineart was perfect and I butchered it with poor colouring skills, sigh

Snape Appreciation Month day 19: Costume Appreciation I know there are a lot of different robe designs around, but while I try to portray Snape as I imagine him to be in the books, I can’t help but draw him wearing the costume that Alan Rickman wore in the movies. And I was inspired by one of his interviews, in which he says: “I was very involved in the costume. I was very specific about it. I said ‘the sleeves should be really tight, and there should be a lot of buttons. Because it helps me, the idea that he has to do this *mimicks buttoning up the coat*” So I decided to draw Snape doing the same, fixing the neck of his frock coat, buttoning up said coat, buttoning up the sleeves and finally putting on the outer black robe (which I also love because of how it billows behind him when he walks).

Why be angry and sulk in a corner when you can grab your best friend and fake-tango (and crash into other dancing couples more or less on purpose, lol) Someone asked for Ron in Yule robes and I more or less tried to deliver it, with another silly Ron/Harry idea of mine :P
