I’m starting this blog to share my Sims adventures. Just for fun and memories. I love doing challenges, but sometimes I like to add my own rules to make them fit the way I like to play.

Sometimes I’ll write as myself, talking about the challenges I’m doing. Other times, I’ll write as my Sims, like diary entries from their lives.

Gen 2 - Buttercup life summary

Home : Butter.exe in Willow Creek

Buttercup grew up as a creative and chaotic child, drawn to pranks and video games. She was especially close with her older brother Leo, and the two became lifelong partners in crime. As a teen, she discovered gaming and programming after getting her first PC, while her mother unexpectedly had twins.

As an adult, her life became deeply tied to her family and her best friend Rosalina. After losing her father to a cowplant incident, she stepped up to help raise the twins. She moved in with Rosalina ans adopted her first cat Glitch. She then worked odd jobs and programming projects (including viruses) to fund Rosalina’s dream of a rocket ship. After burning out from overwork, she recovered through her childhood passion of violin. She later had a science child with Rosalina and became a crazy cat lady.

Her later life became unstable and emotionally strained. She died unexpectedly and became a ghost, and soon after her mother Daisy also passed away. A disastrous rocket prank nearly killed Rosalina, destroying their relationships and filling Buttercup with guilt. After raising Lavender as best she could despite the emotional distance ftom her, she ultimately chose to let go of the living world, hoping to reunite with Daisy in the underworld.

I’ve been thinking a lot lately about everything that happened and everything that’s changed. I had a great life on Earth before the rocket incident.

I think I’ve done what I needed to do here.

I’m giving everything I have to Lavender. She’s going to need it more than I ever did. And I think I’m finally going to stop holding onto the living world so tightly.

Mom’s probably somewhere out there in the underworld. I can’t wait to find her. Maybe she found dad?

Today was Lavender’s birthday. She’s officially a young adult now and im proud of her.

She gained the “Recycle Disciple” trait, which makes perfect sense. She’s always loved making things out of random reused junk instead of buying new stuff.

She invited Rosalina, a few friends, and her CONFIRMED boyfriend Aspen. She didn’t make the party big though. We cut the cake, talked for a bit, and then her social battery completely died

She told me she’s ready to move out and build herself a little eco home.

I knew this moment would come eventually. Still feels strange seeing her ready for a whole new life while I’m… kind of stuck between worlds.

I’m not writing a lot lately. Nothing really happens anymore. Rosalina and lavender still hate me. I tryed making a joke to soften the mood, but she doesn’t laugh at them anymore.

She barely talks to me now. But sometimes I hear her talking to Bacon instead. They’re really close lately. Honestly, the cat probably knows more about her life than I do at this point.

Aspen also comes over all the time now. Her childhood friend. I’m pretty sure they’re together. Which is weird because in my brain she’s still five years old and eating crayons.

I tried making some changes around the house to feel a little better. Things were turning into a complete dumpster fire. Lavender deserves better than living in this. So I cleaned everything up.

I sold the rocket too. Seeing it there all the time was starting to make me feel even worst. I made a cute outdoor space instead. I even tried gardening a little, like Mom used to.

I also renovated Rosalina’s old room into a gaming room.

I hope this will make me feel better.

Today I made a game. I programmed it to help me change my thoughts.

I called it Prank Engine.

It’s a game where you can try a bunch of different pranks without any real-life consequences. Just fun, no damage.

Like if things weren’t already bad enough, Glitch died right in front of Lavender today. She was literally about to pet him.

I feel devastated. Like genuinely crushed. I could die of sadness right now… but I’m already dead, so apparently that’s not an option 👻

At least one of her friends from school, Mandy, came over later. I’m glad she’s not completely alone through all this. They actually seemed to have fun together for once.

Oh. And Peaches the cowplant died too. With everything happening, I forgot to feed her. At least she didn’t eat anyone this time.

Leo came to see me today. He said the rocket prank was the funniest thing I’ve ever done.

I completely went off on him 🔥 I told him I lost everything because of that prank. Rosalina left. Lavender barely talks to me. This isn’t some funny “classic Leo and Buttercup chaos” situation anymore.

He apologized after that. He said he thought making a joke about it would cheer me up.

We ended up talking for a while after.

It’s been a week since Rosalina left. She decided she’s never coming back. She was my best friend.

I also never realized how much she was doing around here. Vet appointments, cleaning, refilling cat bowls… turns out I had it easy with her as a roommate.

Lavender tried staying with Rosalina over the weekend, but four people in a tiny house was too much. She came back, but now she barely leaves her room.

I feel like I lost both my best friend and my daughter because of one stupid prank.

I wish Mom was still here. She’d know what to do. She always did.

After Rosalina left, Lavender got herself a tattoo. It’s a constellation. I’m not proud of it, but my feelings got the best of me and I yelled at her. She just looked at me and told me to chill out.

I’m pretty sure I heard her mumble something about wanting to go stay at Rosalina’s new place… but that there are too many people there or something like that.

I don’t know what to do now 🔥

Today I fucked up royally. Really badly 🔥 Rosalina even went to stay at Bowser’s place for a few days to cool off…

I read a book about mischief and pranks. There was one involving a fruit and a rocket and I thought it would be funny... Like the rocket would just smell like apples for days, harmless.

It wasn’t.

The rocket malfunctioned during landing and it’s basically trashed now. It could’ve killed her. It almost did. I feel sick about it. And also furious at myself for even trusting that stupid book. Who writes that kind of advice?? 😠

On top of that… I forgot to pay the bills and now they shut off the electricity.
