Notes from a book attributed to Blush Pastelle:
"Summer 4
"Finally finding some information. Searched the Willow Creek Archive this eve. Seems fish and frogs may be options for an alternative diet. Ought to look into catching/breeding my own.
"Did grab a snack on my way home though. Tried not to take too much, but still feel guilty. Need to stop."
The Diary of Eliska Bobal (summer, day 7)
Dear Diary,
Guess what?! I made it! You may be wondering what “it” is, well I’ll tell you. The royal family of Glimmerbrook (you know, the kingdom papa and I live in?) always picks a teenage girl to come live with the royal family and learn from them. In exchange we take care of their children, do the laundry, stuff like that. Oops, I guess I spilled the beans! Yup, Queen Jaromira picked little old me!
Shortly after I arrived these people from this Del Sol Valley magazine started swarming the palace, I guess it had something to do with the new alliance. Glimmerbrook is a small country, so we usually don’t get this kind of attention. I guess the Queen isn’t used to it either, cause she got really mad at them, and she was even madder when the magazine came out. Glimmerbrook is a poorer kingdom, so the royal family doesn’t really have the money to hire guards. We’ve been locking the doors at night, just in case.
Prince Consort Dobromil insists I call him by his name instead of his title. Little Princess Agnes Likes being called Princess though. I don’t know if she knows that she will be Queen one day, but I bet she doesn’t. She would be marching around giving people orders if she knew!
The other day, I accidently walked in on Queen Jaromira ad Dobromil kissing! She called him “Romey!” Isn’t that so cute?!
Anyway, Dobromil likes to take pictures, so I have a lot to put in here. I’ll add captions to them too!
This one was taken by me!
This one was taken by me too! Aren’t they just *swoon*???!!!
Look what I painted! Queen Jaromira is a master painter and coached me through it!
And there’s me with our future Queen! Dobromil took this one (:
This is the chance of a lifetime, and I will be documenting all of it!
Love,
Eliska B.
Legacy Challenge Part 2
-----
This legacy challenge is proving to be a lot more difficult than I originally anticipated. After reading this part, you’ll understand why! Part One - Click Here -----
Picking up from where we last left off, Jayc (son of founding legacy sim Kallum), was now a fully fledged adult. His fathers death had been a wake up call, and now it was time for him to get a job, find love and keep the family name alive!
It didn’t take long to see for himself exactly what he’d been missing out on in his youth!
Things moved fast with his first love Demi...
But unfortunately it was not to be. Mere days after falling pregnant and moving in to the family home, Demi collapsed in the kitchen from starvation. A crash diet gone too far?
Jayc pleaded for her life…
But Death had no mercy, and he found himself alone once more.
Whilst his mother Kimberly learned to craft toy robots on her weekends off from work…
Newly single Jayc donned a cheesy suit and took up a job as a campaign worker in the political career to distract himself from the grief.
Not one to give up on his hopes of raising a happy family of his own and continuing the Foundation legacy, he set off on a series of dates with the young ladies of downtown Veronaville.
It wasn’t long before he met Jill.
And though the ghosts of his past were never far away, they quickly fell in love.
Jayc introduced his new girlfriend Jill to his mother, and shortly thereafter invited her to move into the house.
Their love continued to flourish…
and Jill fell pregnant! ‘Perhaps everything is going to work out OK this time’ Jayc thought to himself.
Meanwhile, the robots that Kimberly had been crafting in her spare time as a means of helping the family with their chores were doing more harm than good; malfunctioning left, right and centre and turning the house and gardens into something more akin to a scrapyard.
Touching down back home after a day of meetings and business trips around the world in her private jet, Kimberly was shocked to see the mess her creations had caused…
But it was Jayc who took the initiative to shut them down and finally get rid of them for good.
As it turned out though, the robots were to be the least of their problems. After falling sick with a stomach bug and failing to take proper care of herself and the little one brewing inside of her, Jill collapsed that very same evening on the bathroom floor.
This all seemed so terribly familiar to poor Jayc...
But this time he fought back harder than before. He pleaded for Jill’s life and Death, having seen the pain in his eyes, took mercy upon him and restored her back to life.
A thanks was most certainly in order!
Sadly, the relief was to be short-lived. Just one day away from giving birth, the ghost of Jayc’s father, founding sim Kallum, snuck up on Jill and frightened her to death. She collapsed once more on the cold bathroom floor…
And though Kimberly got down on her knees and pleaded, just as Jayc had, to strike a deal with Death...
This time around she was unsuccessful. Jill had met a cruel, untimely fate, and like Demi before her, her gravestone was placed at the front of the lot.
Will Jayc find love once more and continue the Foundation family bloodline? Or will his biological clock continue to tick away until tragedy befalls both him and his mother? Tune in to part 3 to find out!
TO BE CONTINUED
—
Whew! What a ride.
Sidenote:
Why are pregnant sims so darn difficult to take care of? Kimberly’s pregnancy went without a hitch but now they all just seem to keep dropping like flies! I guess it’s only going to get more difficult from here on out with all the ghosts on the lot, but I’m trying to play by the rules so I don’t want to get rid of the tombstones. It’s certainly frustrating but hey, at least it makes for interesting storytelling! :) As always, happy simming guys!
I tried making some changes around the house to feel a little better. Things were turning into a complete dumpster fire. Lavender deserves better than living in this. So I cleaned everything up.
I sold the rocket too. Seeing it there all the time was starting to make me feel even worst. I made a cute outdoor space instead. I even tried gardening a little, like Mom used to.
I also renovated Rosalina’s old room into a gaming room.
I hope this will make me feel better.

From the diary of Molly Trout:
"[Summer 4 continued.]
"After a much-needed shower, Dina and I went down to the Gnome's Arms. There's always someone new to meet in Finchwick, but this was quite a surprise! A wolf...man?
"The young woman with him seemed very relaxed, so I approached thinking she was there with her... Really Big Dog? But he spoke! His name was Kristopher Volkov and the woman with him was his adopted daughter Rory. He must have some sort of condition that makes him so hairy. I hope I hid my surprise! I feel quite guilty for thinking he was a dog.
"I also felt bad because Dina was so rude to them! I really liked Rory, and Kristopher was nice too, but Dina looked like I'd rubbed dung in her face all evening. Surely it can't be because Kristopher looks a little different?"
From the diary of Molly Trout:
"[Summer 4 continued.]
"Oh, I feel terrible! I ran into Dina while I was out jogging, and I didn't realise till later that I absolutely stank! She didn't say anything, but I am so embarrassed."
From the diary of Molly Trout:
"[Spring 7 continued]
"It was a nice night so, still buzzing from the day's events, I went foraging for mushrooms. Tasty!"
