Woah. That's... much longer than I thought it had been.

So I've been picked to go on an exchange to Thailand for three weeks! Which is super exciting! But since there's been such a short time between the shortlisting interview and actually leaving (I'm gone in seventeen days), and I have never been out of the country, there's been a ton to organize. Plus I just started coaching again, I don't think I've actually sat down at a computer for tumblr-ing in ages, it's not you guys, it's me.

Hiatus because of overseas travel right now, I think?

"I appear to have underestimated you." Kid grinned, examining both the garrote and the owner of it. "And you still refuse to tell me your name. At least have the decency to tell someone why they're being attacked and who by before you do so. I find it increases their fear."

Crona blinked, a small smile forming on her face. "Hello, Kid." She suppressed a sickening laugh, ignoring the desire to taste his lips, his blood.

"Hello, Crona." Kid smiled too, sensing... a craving in her soul, along with the insanity which appealed to his own.

He had to know, before they went any further. If she couldn’t do this, he would just have to let her go her own way. But there was no queen he’d rather have to be with him when the time would come to create nothingness.

This was a hard decision, rather if she wanted to join or not. It was her choice, and her choice alone. “I..” Maka seemed very hesitant about this, but he seemed to be the only thing she wanted right now. Only him, no one else. If it wasn’t selfish gain she didn’t know what it is, but it sure as hell wasn’t unwilling.  "I-I want to stay with you.. I want to be with you…" a long, hesitant pause before she spoke up again. "Even if it means for me to kill someone."

Kid waited while she thought, patient even as he felt the hesitance flickering in her soul. When she finally spoke, however, he believed her. Maka wouldn't go forward with this if she wasn't sure. And if there was one thing he knew he could be sure of, it was her bravery and loyalty. 

"I'm glad to hear that." He sighed, smiling. Kid knew that, ultimately, he only existed for one purpose. Nothingness. And even though Maka could help him achieve that, he couldn't deny that her company was... pleasant. With her, there was no chance he could fail. "Don't fret. Madness will come to you as easily as breath soon enough."
