Everyone is into their image and how they look etc, it all revolves around image. Those things were taught generations ago by the fallen angels(the ones who bound themselves and went against the creator) and taught the women and men the secrets that were in heaven. Here we are today still doing what they taught. đđŸ
On the presentation of women through popular culture, media, and advertising:
It is all a fake, of course; the figures in the popular art are falsely drawn; the real women in bathing suits or tights are actually pinched in and propped up to make them appear firmer and more slender ⊠than nature allows a full-grown woman to be. ⊠As a result we are more and more directing the desires of men to something which does not existâmaking the rĂŽle of the eye in sexuality more and more important and at the same time making its demands more and more impossible.
C. S. Lewis, The Screwtape Letters (1942)
As a believer of Christ, every morning I make the conscious decision to pick up my cross. Christianity is the daily battles I fight against my flesh. Itâs preventing the desire of running away from something holy because it demands obedience. I donât always want Christ. Sometimes, I question my faith. Other times, I wonder if I have outran God. But the reality is that it doesnât matter where my relationship with God is at the moment, I could never deny his existence. God has become a part of me. And whether I am able to obey or fall into sin, I am aware of the fact that my decisions do not change who God is. My struggles do not diminish his authority over all creation. God is in control of my life even when I think all hope is lost. He is always able to pull me back to his unending grace. God has always found me, wherever Iâve been. And even if I feel 10 feet under right now and Iâm not able to see the light, I know he will rescue me. My faith has been established by his unfailing presence.

đđđđ amen.
seriously
Remember. We are not made to be like everyone else.
If God knits a child in her motherâs womb, what right has the mother to remove it? What right has a canvas to reject the paint of the artist? Art thieves go to prison, but thieves of little lives are protected.
Only, remember how jealous the artist is for his workmanship.
My life only ever had meaning because He had an imagination and the love to create me. He did this, knowing Iâd refuse the colors and scenery He chose for me; knowing Iâd tear the canvas and smite the artist. I should have remembered that while He painted my life with blessings, His Son was painted with blood. But Jesus did this, knowing that one day, Iâd put down my stick and submit to His paintbrush.
Not everyone does.
Even still, Heâs knitting little lives each day. Heâs planning out each spot He wants the colors to go, and each piece of scenery, and each face that little life will meet. Iâm so tired of watching people tear canvases that donât belong to them.
now thereâs TWO NF albums I can play repeatedly until my brain melts
Definitely agree. Amazing.
I went back.
Back to the things I was once so comfortable with. And the whole time, I felt as though I had a bullseye on my back. No safety. Not even pleasure. Just emptiness. Basically, I was eating so much, but my soul stayed on empty. Jesus is amazing because even when I was trying so hard to hide from Him and disappear into fantasy... He still loved/s me. I'm still here. Thinking about things a bit differently than I did before. Thank God for His mercy and love.
Thereâs a longing in every heart that only Jesus can satisfy.

When you become a Christian you become a new creature. When you become a Christian you become a higher creature with higher desires and they are so high that if someone gave you the entire world it could not satisfy you, and if someone take away the entire world from you, it could not defeat you, because you see the whole world as nothing compare to the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ and compare to the salvation you received through the Gospel.

Wow! I feel like it's been an eternity since I've been on here!!
âFor he chose us in him before the creation of the worldâŠâ (Ephesians 1:4, NIV)
Did you know that God chose you before the foundations of the earth? Before the worlds were ever formed, He knew you. And, He didnât create you to be average. He didnât create you to barely get by. No, He created you to excel! Not only has He chosen you, but He has equipped you with everything you need to live and thrive in this life. He has deposited seeds of greatness inside every person. But in order to tap into those seeds of greatness, you have to believe this and act on it.
Too many people today are going around with low self-esteem, feeling inferior like they donât have what it takes. But that is living a lie. And as long as we have a poor self-image, weâre not going to experience Godâs best. In order to be all that God has called us to be, we have to see ourselves as chosen, valuable and victorious.
Today, meditate on this truth. Let it sink down deep into your heart. Let it build confidence and security in you. As you understand your value in the eyes of God, youâll be empowered to live the life of victory He has prepared for you!

Screwtape Letters
Satan actively tries to cause us to stumble and sin. Sometimes, he succeeds but we constantly need to pray and ask for the Holy Spirit to be present in our lives to protect us from evil.Â
C.S. Lewisâs book, Screwtape Letters, is a great book that shows the many different ways Satan tries to get us to go against the one we love, the one who redeemed us and the one who loves us.
âThe devil loves âcuringâ a small fault by giving you a great one.â
