some basic verse info for anyone who’s curious heheh
looks like we’ve got a mystery * -- follows the usual premise ( see where are you, the scooby doo show, what’s new, be cool ). the gang travels around solving mysteries that either find them, they stumble across, or occasionally go actively looking for. the group becomes fairly well known over time. this ranges from directly after high school until fred is around 22.
90s film quartet * -- the gang has gone their separate ways. fred is the one-man crew for daphne’s television show, coast to coast. he’s working on his first novel on the side, and eventually collaborates with velma in writing a book detailing their various cases over the years. the group eventually reunites, and quickly pick up where they left off : meddling and helping to the best of their ability.
* they deal with both crooks in masks and genuine supernatural threats ( something velma will do her damnedest to poke holes in and fred will always waffle on if it’s real or not because he wants to believe but---- )
zombie apocalypse -- THIS ISN’T SCOOBY APOCALYPSE but i am gonna take what i want from it and make it better. once again, fred is part of the coast to coast with daphne blake crew. he’s at ground zero with the usual suspects when the plague hits, and together they are all struggling to survive and figure out how it happened and if they can fix it. fred doesn’t fucking die and isn’t obsessed with daphne and constantly proposing to her.
