This book series REALLY kept me really busy and entertained. Purrfect Murder is good to add to your collection of books of murder mysteries. It has cats, murder, and more. Including future romance! It makes your brain work to find out the killer on your own and if you think you got it right, maybe you'll be right or wrong! It's interesting to see what happens. Now, honestly, seeing cats solve a mysteries with a human reporter that is a girl is amazing. I hate how some books make girls so stupid sometimes! I mean, Max is a male feline but it really good at detective work, turns out. Find out what happens!

SPOILER ALERT!!

Odelia Poole, a reporter as said in the bio above ^, is the owner of Max, a male feline who is good at solving mysteries. She soon learns about a murder about a famous horror writer that had gone missing last year and hopes to solve the case. Naturally we both know she'll solve it because why else did they publish the book? Anyway, Odelia meets Chase Kingsley, a former city police detective in New York but came to Hampton Cove instead because of a crime he 'committed' (turns out he didn't do it), and soon begins clashing with Chase. Chase believes she shouldn't be on the case but has to listen to the chief, Alec, who is the uncle of Odelia, and has a grudge against Odelia. Odelia hates how Chase tries to push her out the case. Max had met Brutus, the cat of Chase, a while eariier and had started his own war of sorts. Brutus is a male feline too who is secretly jealous that Max is loved, taken care of well, and gets most things his way. Brutus falls head over heels in love with a persian girl cat named Harriet, Max's friend. Brutus starts dating with Harriet and the two start getting ghosted by Max. We also had met Dooley ages ago at the start of this book, he is Max's friend too. Another boy cat. Dooley is a naive cat surprisingly. I guess it's because he's owned by Odelia's grandmother. Dooley is in love with Harriet and is heartbroken that Harriet loves someone else, not him. Dooley ghosts Brutus and Harriet too with Max and helps Max to solve the case.

Ghosts, Alibis, and Apple Pies by Ann Marie Gideon

Just from this, you can tell that this will focus on Michelle and Georgia. First person pov on Michelle. Georgia is supposed to be her nemesis but we aren't automatically taken to their past first. We are only told of it in this book and the next. In this book we learn (SPOILER ALERT) that Michelle was in a car crash with Georgia. We do not learn why in this book. We also learn that Michelle is in the hospital. Where is Georgia? Is she dead? If not, what happened? Turns out, Georgia is DEAD. Sadly she was killed on impact. It is considered a 'car accident'. Michelle doesn't remember why Georgia was driving the car with her (Michelle). Soon there's a murder (why do I always go after ghosts, cats, and murder mysteries?) and Toby (I forgot his last name), who we learn later that he is obsessed with Georgia, is dead. We met Toby earlier at a bakery. Michelle soon is forced to find out who murdered Toby and why a knife was in him. Oh yes, a knife was in him. Later we learn the knife was NOT the cause of death. It was considered poison, actually. No more spoilers though, we have to make sure you get a surprise!!

As you can tell, again, Devinaria Nile (yes, that is her full name!) of Cobblestone Creek is saving the day once more. Sadly to her. Great for our entertainment though! She meets Anna, a former villain who doesn't start out as a nice person. Anna is the sister to Gilly (Aka Gillian if we're going by her real name) who is in the series Fairytale Reform School. Gilly is a thief but only because she is trying to help her family, who do not approve of her ways. Gilly goes to Fairytale Reform School once she gets caught for the third time. I have yet to read the series but I got book 1 of the series for free with my Kindle subscription. So far it is very interesting and Heroes makes Gilly meet Devinaria Nile. Apparently, the two met once. But Gilly was the thief, and Devin was the princess. In the start of Fairytale Reform School book 1, Gilly meets a princess and steals from her. And apparently, turns out, Devinaria Nile was THAT princess! Really shocking for me (not really). Anyway, Heroes is a great book. It combines the other series and makes Devin have a happy ending: She can go to a different school but to learn about magical creatures! Her mother at first didn't approve but learned to accept it. I will not write a review as I have yet to read the book (it's coming tomorrow! Yay!) but it is going to be interesting. Misfits and Outlaws, also by Jen Calonita, are the first and second books of the series and are amazing. Devin Nile was banished and soon meet Tara, Corden, and Prue who all pretend to be mice but then reveal themselves as fellow banished students a while later. I won't spoil the book much but it's very interesting. I recommend it for fantasy lovers!

Devin Nile

Devin Nile is from the series Royal Academy Rebels, Books 1-3. She doesn't act much like a princess but is one herself. Devin Nile was the superlative: most likely to save a princess. She was banished from Royal Academy in just her first year! She can talk to animals and has healed animals to help in the past. I have yet to get the third book in the series but I read books 1 and 2. I have ordered book 3 and it will be here on August 12th. Expect a review on it soon!

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows

This was my favorite book of all. I always have loved this one since I was young. 10/10, recommend if you haven't read it yet!

Misfits by Jen Calontia is a fantasy book where Devin Nile goes to Royal Academy. She hates it. Devin is a princess who can talk to animals. She soon makes friends. At the end, she gets banished. I won't spoil the book but this was an amazing book! I got this for free on Kindle with my subscription and it was a good read. I recommend it for all people who love fantasy and princesses!
