Using Runes

For using runes you have to be pretty advanced in witchery. Before getting your telling right, you have to practice, practice, and practice. You have to learn to “be the runes”. 

To make runes:

Take some small sized stones and carve/draw the runes. Store them in a bag. (You can also simply order online a bag of runes, but I believe that making your own puts your energy into them making their use more accurate.)

About how the runes answer your question, you have to do a detailed research on them and learn. (The rune may also fall upside down or sideways and that impacts the meaning as well)

Colour Magic

Hello my Loves! I hope you all had a nice holiday!Today we will be discussing colour magic!

What is colour magic?

It is the association of colours with specific traits and meanings. Wiccans and Witches will use specific coloured candles, cloths, pouches, pens, stones etc. In spells to add to the effect of the spell. Some may wear specific colours to carry that energy or power with them throughout the day. Decorating your home's rooms with colour association in mind is also another way of practicing this magic! Zodiac signs have specific colours associated with them also!

Red❤

A passionate and firey colour. Rules the week day Tuesday and associated with the planet Mars. It's Zodiac association is Aries, and element association is Fire. It represents the Root Chakra.

Emotional Associations are Anger, Passion, Courage, Lust, Love and Ambition.

Can symbolize the Archetypal God in Magic.

Orange🧡

An Adaptable colour associated with the Sun. Rules Sunday. It represents the Abdomen Chakra.

Associated with many things, primarily with ambition and the business world. This can be Career Goals, Property Deals, Materialism, and Selling Success.

Emotional Associations would be Self Confidence, Strength, Justice, Encouragement, Ego, and Pride.

Yellow💛

Yellow is also associated with the Sun. Representing Intellectual Pursuits, the Mind, Learning, Intelligence, Philosophy and Long Term Memory.

It's associated Chakra is the Solar Plexus.

Emotional Associations are Attraction, Charm, Persuasion, Confidence, Imagination and Protection.

Green💚

An Earthy colour representing the Earth Mother.

Symbolizing Harmony, Fertility, Luck and Prosperity. Use Green to attract Financial, Plant, Career or Conception Fertility.

Chakra associated with Green is the Heart.

Blue💙

Associated with Thursday and the planet Jupiter, it is the colour of communication and healing.

Zodiac association with blue would be Sagittarius and Pisces. Chakra association with blue is the Throat.

The Tranquil and Gentle energy from blue allows for spiritual inspiration and creativity. It has a calming effect and allows for the ability of patience to be enhanced. It soothes and assists in falling asleep. It allows for emotional healing to occur from wounds inflicted by communication. Associated also in the business world with trust and confidence.

Purple💜

A spiritual colour, representing the Third Eye Chakra. Associated with Mercury the Planet, the Zodiac signs Gemini and Virgo, and the Weekday Wednesday.

Connected to Power through the use of Royalty in History, associated with High Power, Ambition and Self Assurance.

Emotional Associations with Psychic Abilities and Hidden Knowledge.

Pink💖

The colour of True Romantic Love. Ruler of Friday and the planet Venus. Connected to the Zodiacs Libra and Taurus.

Associated with all things Romantic and Positive.

Emotional Associations are good will, peace, affection, emotional maturity, partnerships, caring, nurturing, successful unity and emotional health.

Black (My favourite Colour!🖤)

Associated with Protection and Banishing, the weekend day of Saturday and the Zodiacs Capricorn and Aquarius.

Represents the hard, difficult and negative aspects of Life.

Colour of the planet Saturn, who protects the home.

White💟

Represents the unity of all colours and also their absence. It can act as a stand in colour for any in a spell, ritual offering ect.

Associated with the goddess in her purest form, also a symbol of childhood, motherhood and pure love.

An innocent colour associated with the higher self, sincerity and truth.

🌞Used for:

Protection, healing (especially physical), happiness, truth, clairvoyance, courage, strength, prosperity, luck, self-love, cleansing, confidence, leadership, justice, gardening, growth, warmth, comfort, fertility, and creativity

🌞How to make it:

Leave the water on a sunny windowsill or outside, preferably in direct sunlight. Sunrise, 9 am, 12 pm, and 3 pm are perfect times for this, or you can leave it from sunrise to sunset. You can also add herbs and flowers to it as well (lemon peels, orange peels, marigolds, chamomile, cinnamon, sunflower, etc.) Or charge it with some stones (like sunstone, orange calcite, citrine, tigers eye, goldstone or carnelian), but please don’t put these stones in the water. You can also make a sun tea with sun water for a very potent solar spell.

Door Lock Protection Spell

This spell is intended to protect your space from unwanted entities, human or nonhuman, by creating an impenetrable barrier.

Ingredients

String or twine (preferably black, but any color will do)

Hot sauce

Black pepper

Cayanne pepper

Sage

Basil

Mixing bowl

Spoon

Mortar and pestle/something to grind your herbs

Gloves

Optional: War water

Process

Perform any pre-spell rituals and gather the ingredients. Set your intention: to protect your space from unwanted entities.

Grind up and mix the sage, basil, black pepper, and cayenne pepper. As you mix the herbs together, infuse them with your energy. Put the mixture in the bowl. The basil and sage will offer protection while the black pepper and cayenne will “burn” whoever tries to enter your space without permission. Direct your energy towards fulfilling this intention.

Add the hot sauce and optional war water to the mix of herbs and stir, focusing your energy on blocking out unwanted entities and making them feel unwelcome.

Put on your gloves and dunk the string/twine in the mixture and make sure to really saturate it. Visualize the string soaking up the energy from the herb mixture and your own energy that you put into it. Set the string aside somewhere to dry.

Once dry, tie the string to your doorknob. Repeat this process until all of your doors are secured by the spell.

Here are some apps I use on a near daily basis that really help me within my practice that I thought might help some of you as well 💕 I found all of these on the Google Play Store, but you might be able to find them for iOS as well ✨

1. Wicca Calendar

This app is amazing for keeping track of the Wiccan sun festivals/holidays/sabats. It also comes with a personal and community BOS (Book of Shadows) to keep notes on your workings.

2. Daily Horoscope

I use this app almost every day because it is one of the best horoscope apps I've ever used. It's almost always super accurate (almost scary 😂) and it also has a weekly/monthly horoscope option to show you what your week/month with hold. It also includes other types of horoscopes like Chinese zodiac and druid tree horoscopes and a comparability chart for the lovers out there 💕

3. Labyrinthos

This app is for those of you who want to learn tarot cards so you don't have to refer to a book constantly for the meanings! It teaches you with a fun little memory game kinda. It's Duolingo for tarot!

4. Moon

As a Cosmic Witch, I MUST know what phase the moon is currently in. As many workings or spells work better depending on the current moon phase, it is rather important to some to keep track of the phases and this does just that! It also sends reminders for specific moon phases (Full moon reminders!!!) and shows you what the phases will be like that month, as well as additional info about the moon, such as the sign it is currently in.

5. NASA

This app is great for Cosmic Witches such as myself or anyone really who wants to know the current position of the planets in our solar system! Just go down to "featured" and from there you'll find "model of our solar system." It's a live top down view and you can zoom in and move it around as needed.

6. Sanctuary

Another horoscope app. This one is good specifically because it takes into account the exact time you were born, so it can tell you a lot more about the other planets/signs in your horoscope like you moon sign! It also talks a lot about the current position of the planets and how it's going to affect you.

7. Star Chart

An AMAZING app that lets you use the AR function to see exactly what stars you're seeing in the sky as well as planets! You can also turn the AR on and off depending on how you want to use the app. AR on most apps usually doesn't work for my phone, but this one works perfectly, so give it a try if you're someone that likes to know what's in the sky when you're doing spells 💕

Witchy Reminder on Auras!

Your aura isn’t static!

It changes day to day, week to week, maybe even hour to hour.

This isn’t a bad thing! Your aura is a reflection on your emotional, mental, and spiritual state.

Aura colors have different meanings for different people and your aura’s color can change and this isn’t a bad thing!!
