It's okay to be silly about your witchcraft. It's okay to be serious in your witchcraft. There are always going to be people who interact with your witchcraft thoughts and content in bad faith, no matter how serious or silly you are. So it's important to express your relationship with witchcraft in whatever way makes you feel comfortable and understand that people taking that in bad faith or misconstruing it are doing so because of a them-issue, not a you-issue.

I love silly witches. I love serious witches. I love when my serious witch friends feel comfortable being silly with me. I love would my publicly silly witch friends feel comfortable being serious with me. I love when people are happy with their craft and how they share it.

Tuesday Witchery: Still Standing Candle Spell

A little something for when life insists on kicking your ass.

Materials

Red candle

Black peoper

Coffee grounds

Dress the candle with coffee grounds and pepper or sprinkle the two in a circle around the base of the candle.

As you light the candle, think about what's been weighing you down. Don't hide from it. Face it. Embrace it. Think about all the things you've survived before, and how you're still here.

Take a moment to focus on the flame. Feel the warmth and take comfort in it.

Say, "I remain. Again and again, I remain."

planets/minor planets: sun, mars, saturn, pallas

celestial bodies/objects: asteroids, dark matter, comets, black holes, blazars, quasars

constellations: ara, aries, canes venetici, canis major & minor, corona borealis, draco, leo, lupus, ursa major

ways to protect yourself with celestial energy:

ask a planet or celestial body for its protection and make an offering

use incense or spray that you associate with a protective celestial body to create a barrier in a space 

put glow stars around or above your door

sprinkle stardust powder at the entrance of your home 

set a celestial themed decoy outside of your home

place a protective constellation crystal grid underneath your bed

hang a sachet filled with herbs and crystals that you associate with protective celestial bodies above your bed or door

charge a piece of jewelry with protective celestial energy and wear it on your person as an amulet

use visualization to create a shield made from dark matter 

create sigils or symbols that represent a celestial body with the intent of protecting yourself 

draw on yourself, doors, windows, etc.

hang representations of your chosen celestial body above doors and windows

make a hanging mobile of the planets to hang above your bed and charge with protective energy

set corresponding crystals at each corner of a room or space

create an oil that corresponds to one or more protective celestial bodies and use it to anoint objects such as yourself, candles, etc.

Witchy Ways to Protect Your Bedroom Energy ✨🪶

Your bedroom is sacred space~keep it peaceful and safe.

🪶 Hang Bells or Chimes – Soft sounds break up heavy energy and invite gentle spirits.

🕯 Candle Before Sleep – Light one while journaling or reading, whispering, “Only peace may rest here.”

💧 Water Bowl – Place a small bowl of water near your bed to absorb stress as you sleep. Empty it in the morning.

I Choose Me Enchantment - Self Love Spell 🌸💕✨

You'll Need:

Pink or White Candle - Self-love

Small Mirror

Sugar

Pen + Paper

Steps:

Cleanse Your Space - Place pink candle and mirror in front . Light candle and look at your reflection and say "I arrive back to myself. I am allowed to choose me."

Write Your Intention - A list of what you're letting go. List of what you're stepping into.

Sweeten With Intention - Sprinkle sugar lightly on what you're stepping into. Say "I soften the way I see myself. I make peace with my reflection."

Mirror Affirmation - Look in mirror while candle burns and say "I choose me when its hard. I choose me when its quiet. I choose me without apology." Repeat this 3-9 times.

Seal the Enchantment - Tear/Burn the releasing section of the paper. Keep the becoming section near the candle until it finishes burning.

Close Ritual - Let candle burn out safely and Thank the spirits.
