-It was time that I came back to see my daughters. I have been gone far too long and searching for some kind of cure to break this merge between them. A mother will go to great lengths to protect her kids from harm, and I had no plans to give up.
However, I have noticed that I have been so focused on saving my daughters that I have stopped being a mother along the way. Even though it wasn't intentional, I needed to make sure they were both okay. My first order as a mother was to check on my youngest daughter, Josie.
According to Alaric, she has been struggling lately, and I needed to make sure she knew she could always count on me for anything. Surprising my daughters will be fun, and I hope they are excited to see me as much as I am to see them.
When I arrived at the Salvatore Boarding School, I started to look for her and had no idea where she could be. After all, this school was quite large.-
She had a feeling that Mum was never going to come home. Josie had been struggling a bit since she had left to try and find out about the merge. Maybe that is how she was feeling a bit off and her magical gifts were going haywire. Today was not different.
She got up that was fine and had got ready to go and have some breakfast. Then the school day would start and that was nothing new. Battling monsters became a struggle when Mum was gone.
She totally understood. that she needed to protect them both, Dad was great at keeping everything together. You could not fault him at all but things became difficult for her with her sister and her moaning at everything and anyone. And she knew that was down to Mum being away.
Josie decided that the only way that she would get any peace around here was to head to the library trying to gather all sorts of information about the latest monster that she had to battle. She walked there and grabbed the space in the corner.
No one was around at the moment since it was still early and that was the best time. Usually it was busy and she could not get a seat at all. Grabbing a few books that she had a list for she placed her books onto the table and then her notepad to take some notes. She hoped
that one day her mother would come home find and surprise her.
-It took me a while to look around the school, and the last place I didn't check was the library. It wasn't surprising to me that Josie was here.
My daughters, even though they were twins, were completely different individuals. Lizzie was more the partying type and Josie was more the loner.
Even though they were different, I still loved both of them. When I reached the library, I smiled softly and just stared at my daughter in silence for a brief moment.
After a few minutes, I finally let it be known that I was here. -
Josie!?

-Elena and I needed to take a break from the town for a while. We were secretly working on something and needed this time to unwind. This trip wasn't meant to be relaxing, and deep down we both knew that because it was personal for both of us.
Earlier, I had talked with Elena that it would be easier if she spent the night at my place and we could leave together bright and early. Even though this wasn't a trip for fun, maybe we can make something good come out of it.
Elena will be here any minute, and I was almost finished packing. I wanted to finish before Elena got here, so that we have time to discuss our trip plans and maybe watch a movie or something.
She and I both know that if we told the ones we love what our plans were, they would not let us go. I only hope Elena stayed true to her part of the deal and did not tell Damon anything about what we were up to. The last thing I told Stefan was that we were going on a girls' trip, which wasn't a total lie.-
She could not tell him the full story that she was going to be out of town far away from anyone not even Bonnie was going to be there which was surprising. ~
She had found out that Caroline was in the process of packing her things and she was now on her way to meet up with her. She was approaching her house and then she tooted the horn just to let her know she was nearly there.
She parked up the car and climbed outside to make her way up to the door. Caroline must have heard me tooting on the horn. So I knocked on the door once and then walked inside. “Caroline, I am here. I just left my suitcase in the car. We do have some time before we leave.
I need food and a drink.” She walked up stairs to her room and found her still packing. “So what time are we leaving at and do you mind I make some food. I just quickly packed and ran out the door without anything to eat. How foolish of me." I have not had anything to eat, yes that would be perfect. I think that we could order something. Maybe pizza? And how about a film? Not something romantic though. Maybe a horror? I agree with that too.
I think that we do need to think about what we are going to do tomorrow. I am going to leave the suitcase in my car and I have brought my overnight things here.” She held up the bag. "We also need to discuss who’s car we are taking and what time we are leaving at? But I suppose that we can discuss things like that after dinner.”
She picked the mobile out of her jacket pocket. And started to dial the number. “What would you like to eat Caroline? I think I am going to go for a burger and some fries. Instead of pizza.
Oh and I actually forgot I brought something along with me. I have some cocktails in my bag, only a couple each."
-I quickly started packing and gathered everything that I needed together. I wanted to be ready so that when Elena came, we didn't have to worry about anything else.
I had already ordered the pizza and went to the grocery store to get some goodies for tonight and the road trip. I was almost finished when Elena sounded the horn. I wasn't sure why there was such a rush.
There was no need to rush and there was no need to be hurried. We could go at our own pace, and when Elena walked in and started asking all of these questions, I couldn't help but laugh a little.-
Calm down, Elena. One question at a time. Let me at least answer them before asking another.
-I picked up my suitcase with the handle and carried it downstairs to leave it near the front door. -
Pizza has already been ordered. I bought the goodies for the road trip and tonight. We can leave when we wake up in the morning, and I'm okay with that movie type.
