Disney Princes in Ralph Breaks the Internet?
I don’t know about you guys, but whenever I saw the Disney Princesses in one of the Ralph Breaks the Internet trailers, I thought about what it might’ve been like with the Disney Princes. I saw the movie and the only Disney Prince I saw was Naveen as a frog. I’m not complaining or anything, but I can’t help but wonder what questions the Disney Princes would ask when it comes to what kind of prince is there. Now that I’ve seen all the questions the princesses asked in the movie, I decided to come up with a scene where the princes do a similar thing with Ralph.
Here’s the scene: After Ralph buys the steering wheel for Sugar Rush, he decides to go to Oh My Disney to find Vanellope. He was amazed by all the sights and sounds of the website but the amazement was cut short when he bumped into the Stormtroopers. The troopers thought Ralph was attacking them and chased him around. Ralph frantically looks around for a place to hide and spotted a door. He quickly opens the door while trying not to break it with his strength and closed the door behind him. There was a sign on the door with Mickey Mouse ears on it, which reads “Princes.” The Stormtroopers stopped by the door and looked around a bit before moving away from it. Ralph let out a sigh of relief and backs up a bit, only to trip on something and land on his back in the middle of the room. He got up and found a group of fancy-dressed men staring at him.
The princes jumped up and points their weapons at the intruder. Prince Florian (Snow White’s prince) has a dagger, Prince Charming has a sword (yes, he has a sword in a sequel), Prince Phillip has a sword, Prince Eric has an harpoon, The Beast turns into his beastly form and shows his teeth and claws, Aladdin has an Arabian sword or a magic lamp (though Jasmine was using it in RBI), John Smith has his gun, Li Shang has a staff, Naveen has a knife (for mincing things), Flynn Rider, a.k.a Eugene Fitzherbert has a frying pan, and Kristoff has his pickaxe.
Ralph (waving his hands in defense): Woah, woah, easy gentlemen, easy!
Beast: Who are you? What are you doing here?
Shang: We do not tolerate intruders. Only official princes are allowed in this room.
Ralph (trying to act cool): Oh, really? Isn’t that a coincidence? ‘Cause you see, um, I’m a prince too.
Ralph: Yeah, it’s right. Prince Wreck-It Ralph, hero of Sugar Rush and… master of wrecking and stuff. (Chuckles nervously)
John Smith: Uh-huh. What kind of a prince are you?
Aladdin (while holding a lamp): Do you have a magic object?
Eric, Naveen, and Kristoff stand next to each other with their instruments.
Eric: Do you play an instrument?
The Princes have their respective animal friends with them. (Florian, Charming, Phillip, and Shang had horses; Eric had Max the dog, Aladdin had Abu the monkey, Naveen had Louis the alligator, Eugene had Maximus the horse, and Kristoff had Sven the reindeer)
Kristoff: Do you talk to animals?
Aladdin: Have you ever steal?
Ralph: Uhh… (He remembers stealing cherries from Pac-man and a suit of armor from a soldier from Hero’s Duty)
Flynn/Eugene: Or have a fake identity?
Ralph: Uhh… (He remembers pretending to be Markowski and the fact that he’s trying to pass himself off as a prince) Nope.
Phillip (showing him chains): Were you imprisoned?
Naveen changes into a frog and jumped onto the Beast’s paws.
Beast and Flynn/Eugene: Died and come back to life?
Ralph: No!! Are you guys okay? Should I call a therapist?
Prince Charming: And I have to assume that a girl you’ve just met ran away from you and left her shoe behind so you had your men go and try the shoe on every girl in the kingdom?
Ralph: No, and it wouldn’t be easier to just wait for her to came back to pick up her shoe?
Florian: Have you ever kissed a sleeping girl?
Ralph: No. But if I did, she would probably smack me in the face.
Phillip: Does your dad expect you to get married?
Ralph: I don’t have a dad and I haven’t seen my mom.
Eric, Beast, Aladdin, John Smith, Flynn/Eugene, and Kristoff: Neither do we! (Note: I don’t know if Florian has parents or not)
Aladdin: Well, actually, in a sequel, I found out my dad’s still alive so… yeah, not an orphan.
Flynn/Eugene: And now, for the million dollar question: Do people pick on you because they thought they don’t need a big, strong man in their life?
Ralph: Yes! Can you believe that?
All the Princes: He is a Prince!
Prince Florian sings a few notes like Snow White.
