Archive: Glassjoewife/ LocalPeeves/ Eden and her harassment

hii I know it’s been some time since I’ve been here and I’ll keep this short and simple. This is just a small documentation of glassjoewife’s behavior, and how she’s shown she truly doesn’t want to take responsibility for what she’s done in the past. This does have screenshots of the old callout on her (which has now been deleted) but I have parts of only what’s relevant to this post (the majority of the original post has stuff about her questionable, old friends, I don’t care about any of that anymore) Here’s the relevant info from the old post:

When the post first came out, I reblogged it and shared it around, making fun of Eden and her behavior as she personally rubbed me the wrong way. As referenced in the old callout post, she was also constantly shittalking one of my mutuals at the time because they also self shipped with glass Joe. Apparently, this was enough for Eden to then allegedly attempt suicide and blame it on me, and two other innocent people who had nothing to do with her.

because of her irresponsible post blaming her attempt on me and others, the three of us dealt with people assuming we intentionally tried to push her to do this, as well as just general harassment. Due to her randomly pinning the blame on me and others, I no longer felt bad for her, and have been making fun of her because of the way she acted towards me. Is it wrong and petty? Of course, and I own that. But the reason why I STILL don’t feel bad is because after her pinning her suicide attempt on me, she started to continuously harass and dm me over the course of months.

Now if it ended back in July, I wouldn’t be making this post. Since then, we’ve interacted about three more times. The first was when I noticed Eden was on good terms with one of the other people she blamed her suicide on. I saw this as an opportunity to at least try to talk things out with Eden, and be on somewhat neutral terms.

TLDR; we went back and forth and disagreed a bunch, and it ended with Eden blocking me. Again, if it ended there this post wouldn’t have been made. But AFTER she blocked me, Eden unblocked me again asking me to take down the reblog of the old callout post for the sake of her reputation.

I thought it was funny she came crawling back months later because my dead account has the history of Eden’s vile behavior. So I reblogged the initial callout post and added this image to the reblog. This account was pretty dormant, until I got another dm from Eden on April 1st.

Eden now wants me to take down the post because of her fear of being doxxed, specifically because the original callout post has screenshots of her face (photos which SHE posted publicly on her social media mind you..) and is apparently afraid of the infamous Glass Joe Nazi girl (yes, somehow she’s involved too in this mess) of finding her. Again, we went back and forth but I will respect Eden’s request to take down any images of her face. That’s her right to not have her face on the internet if she wants that.

However, I still find Eden to be a nasty, obsessive person, and I want to make it clear that she has been harassing me for a long time. All because I made some jokes at her expense. You can think I’m awful and rude, and I agree that I have been very rude towards her. this is all because of her own irresponsible, crazy, laughable actions that affected me and others.

I find it absurd how she blamed her suicide attempt on me when I barely interact with her. I find it questionable that she was given back her phone with no restrictions only two days after her “attempt”, with no sort of help for her and the hospital just allowing her to be back on her phone. I find it weird how her reason asking me to take down the callout posts suddenly changed (first it was about her reputation, NOW it’s because she might get doxxed?). I find it hilarious how she’s scared the Nazi glass Joe girl (who is a MINOR mind you. She’s most likely in high school, meanwhile Eden is reaching her 20s) who apparently has the power to actually, physically hurt her. I think everything Eden is doing is insane, and she’s doing all of this because she wants people to like her.

This isn’t supposed to be a “cancellation post!!1!” On Eden, like I’ve said I don’t care about Tumblr or fandoms, everyone here SUCKS. The point of this post was to document Eden and all she’s done to me (and others too ig) I don’t care if you still follow her, defend her, block her. Do what you want. so women are supposed to grin and bear the books, the comics, the movies, the plays, the tv shows, the stories, the sci-fi, the translated ancient poems, the fucking millennia of men writing about their self inserts torturing women and it being declared as High Art by other men, we’re supposed to read it in our free time, study it in classrooms, include their styles in our own writing, accept their cultural influence as natural, watch it in the cinema, write about it, talk about it, accept it, aspire it, but men can’t tolerate three seconds of female wish fulfilment of a woman snapping the wrist of a creep without feeling personally kicked in the balls.

This reminds me of something I observed in college while I was doing my honors thesis on women in modern horror films. I watched a LOT of horror during that time as part of my research, and sometimes that was done with my family around.

And my dad and brothers? Were deeply disturbed by the movie Jennifer’s Body. I was flabbergasted. It’s not scary! It’s not even that gory. But they were horrified by it. These men who grew up on 70s slashers were legitimately shook by 90 minutes of Megan Fox eating a few teenage boys, mostly off-screen.

Similarly, my all-male reading panel for my thesis? Were so disturbed by my synopsis of the film Teeth that they couldn’t even talk about it. One of them said he couldn’t look at his wife for a week after reading it.

Again, grown-ass men who study and teach media for a living. Who definitely watch and enjoy horror movies. One of whom was a huge Tarantino buff. We watched and read worse in his intro to mass media class! But one movie about a girl whose vag could bite was enough to haunt him.

Then of course you have things like the Gone Girl backlash–men yelling that Amy Dunne is evil and women clamoring to assure everyone that they know she is not someone to emulate–the backlash against Carol Danvers, and, more recently, the griping from MRAs against the upcoming film Hustlers, which is about strippers scamming their Wall Street clients.

My conclusion? Most men–at least most straight, cisgender men, who are both my sample population and most of the ones whining that Carol is a “villain”–are perfectly fine with, and desensitized to, media where men do violence to women (horror movies), or men do violence to men (horror and action movies). They’re even sort of fine when women do violence to women (“ooooo cat fight!”).

But they get intensely uncomfortable when women are depicted doing any kind of violence to men, especially in films that tilt the balance of power to the other side of the m/f gender binary beyond a single moment or scene.

So woman as flesh-eating monster with men as her preferred cuisine? Woman who responds to unwanted sexual contact by biting it off? Woman who frames her cheating husband for murder? Woman whose response to harassment–behavior that many of the loudest whiners know is both creepy and reflective of their own thoughts/actions–is to break something?

Too scary. Unacceptable. Disturbing. These men hate being presented with the idea, even in fiction, that their position of power is socially constructed, that it could easily be flipped the other way. It terrifies them.

In feeling that terror, they experience a tiny modicum of what living, existing, moving, being perceived as a woman in the world is like.

And they flinch every time.

HOW TO LARP AS A PUNCH OUT FAN (WORKING METHOD)

Number 1: Never, ever, EVER acknowledge the SNES and arcade games. Super Punch Out? Arm Wrestling? Pizza Pasta? The Bruiser brothers? What's that? 😹

Number 6: Only pay attention to characters like Glass Joe or Aran Ryan because they're the only characters to have so much depth and lore

it's come to my attention that a known groomer (formerly known by chironcaverns) has rebranded here on tumblr, and now goes by the username @\witchezbreww.

he groomed a 12yo in 2020-2022. additionally, he's recently been exposed to have groomed three 16-17yos at once just this april. he refuses to step away from the internet or to apologize and take accountability for his actions. chironcaverns is a danger to everyone around him.

he showed these 16yos NSFW/smut content, and asked one of them to write NSFL at some point. he has attempted to convince a 16yo to draw NSFW and create an NSFW account on twitter/X once they turned 18.
