So in Urban Gods, with each time reset, the Fates allow any humans favored by the gods to be reincarnated again as their previous lives. Typically this goes off cycling again without a problem, but sometimes the mortal will be one of those types of people that have vague memories of their previous lives. In this lifetime, Ganymede is one of these people, and when he sees Zeus smiling at him, all the alarm bells in his head are going off...!

They meet because Hebe one day decides she wants to see "how the mortals do her job" and decides to get a job as a barista. Wanting to get away from the prying eyes of her omniscient parents, she decides to sneak off to Turkiye, specifically Istanbul, where Ganymede is her new coworker.
Unfortunately for her, daddy is nosy and follows her one day. After switching shifts, Ganymede begins to leave when he bumps into Zeus, demanding to know what his daughter is up to, when he's suddenly taken aback by the mortal's beauty. After which, Zeus makes things incredibly uncomfortable for Hebe, Ganymede, their manager and their customers, by deciding he's getting to fulfill some coffeeshop AU fantasy.
