My wife and I came to Egypt in June for the IVF procedure, and she became pregnant, but we were stranded in Egypt after the war. I was employed in Gaza, and my wife was a mathematics teacher. Now we have no income after everything was destroyed. My twins were born in April, and one of them (Ahmed) has two holes in his heart and also suffers from optic nerve damage as a result of being in the neonatal intensive care unit.

He was given artificial oxygen and needs special care, surgery, and numerous treatments at great expense. He now needs special milk and medication. I also suffer from a slipped disc and cannot work hard in Egypt. I need surgery that costs 2000 euros. I live in a rented apartment that costs me 200 euros a month. You are our only hope. I am Engineer Walid Al-Qatrawi.I am 36 years old, a father of three children: Adam, Hala, and Nay. I was born and raised in Gaza, where my family and I have spent our entire lives.

Because of the ongoing conflict, we have been forced to leave our home and relocate multiple times in search of safety. Today, my family and I are displaced in southern Gaza, living in a fragile tent that does not provide the protection and stability my children need.

After repeated displacement, my children have lost the sense of security and normal life they once knew. Every day, we struggle to provide them with a safe and dignified environment. Our tent offers very limited protection from harsh conditions and the challenges of displacement. We urgently need to repair and equip it, build a private bathroom for our family, provide food, clean water, clothing, and essential supplies for our children. If possible, we also hope to secure a safer temporary home where our family can live with more stability.
