You are Worth It!

I’ve realized why so many women have difficulties finding that one man, or they have trouble finding happiness in their relationships. It’s because we crave love so much, that we would do anything for that guy. We would drive to them in order to see their face because they won’t. We would pay for them because we don’t want to seem like money whores. We would cook for them, and greet them as they walk through the door. We would accept their broke promises and accept them disappointing us. 

I admit, I’ve done this in the past, I’ve made his life easier because I loved him! So I figured if I make his life easier, he’d love me more and show me that he loves me. Literally told him that if he were, God Forbid, ever in an accident and he needed a heart that I would give him mine so that he always has a piece of me. My mother told me, “You can’t love for two.” And she is right, boy would she love to hear that!

After some thought, I realized that once we make life easy for men that’s when they stop trying. Once we give them the cow for free, milk included, they think, “Hey, why even buy it!” We need to set a standard of what we are worth because that’s when the man, if he truly loves you, would jump as high as you would like him to. And you may think, “Most guys would just go find ‘it’ somewhere else” Well, honey, I’m here to tell you that they don’t deserve your love then! Because when you love someone, you will do anything to keep them!

Peter Pan Theory

Has anyone else wondered where Peter Pan truly originated from? I know the story takes place in London, England and most of the characters do have a British accent. 

However, in the Disney animated film, Peter has an American accent while Wendy, John, and Michael have English accents. This is not the only time Peter has had an American accent. In the movie Hook, with Robin Williams, Peter has an American accent as well and in the Peter Pan live action movie with Jeremy Sumpter. 

So the question is, how is Peter Pan being portrayed? An American or an Englishman?
