I'm making a little game
I'm trying to make a small game as a gift, but I'm really enjoying the art and wanted to share it with the recipient as well. So here are my first attempts at pixel art for Forget Me Not.

Odysseus’ Megaron | 3D Model
I finished this back in early December but kept forgetting to post it. Anyway this was my final project for my Advanced 3D Modeling class last semester. I decided to create a fully textured and nicely rendered model of Odysseus’ megaron based on the archaeological sites of Pylos, Mycenae and Tiryns and artist reconstructions.
I modeled and textured all of this in Blender and then edited the renders in Photoshop, doing some basic color correction and effects. Other than the bronze texture which I got from textures.com, I made all the Mycenaean-style patterns myself in ibisPaint on my iPad and made the roughness, ambient occlusion and normal maps myself. Hardest part of this was modeling the ceiling which I redid multiple times before realizing there was a much, much easier way to do it (basically, what I had been doing was trying to carve out the spaces between the rafters and ceiling instead of just. Making the ceiling and rafters separate objects.) Anyway I do wish I had made the lights stronger to illuminate the throne more but in any case I'm happy with how this turned out.

Protecting Cassandra Reputation
I started Troy and I HATE how they made Cassandra a crazy woman. Are you kidding me? She was an important priestess of Apollo, a clairvoyant, and not to mention the fact that only in some versions is she cursed, after Homer (which is no less valid for that, but was it really necessary to make her a crazy woman who doesn't wash herself to highlight that Paris horrendous written???)
I thought about what Helen might look like, just before choosing her husband
Bored Helen
Idk, I wanted to do a lil sketch of a young Helen in her everyday life.

Circe headcanon
My headcanon is that after the first few years of confinement, Circe started working out out of boredom. She began to notice how productive she was at home, how her magic had strengthened with her, how she was more agile, her mind felt lighter, freer.
Absorbed in her studies, in exploring her magic, in the freedom to do what she wanted, when she wanted, to eat whatever she wanted, her house became filled with flowers, herbal teas, vines, lions and art.
When Hermès arrived with new rebellious nymphs, she feared that all this would change, but instead she discovered that they all saw her as a role model, wanting to become like her, some even wanting to be with her. There she found her family.

Hey, you, artist. Your art doesn’t have to be perfect. Your art doesn’t even have to be ‘good’. You can post “bad” art. People will still like it. I guarantee that someone along the way will genuinely love it, even if it isn’t ‘good’ or doesn’t meet your standards for yourself.
You don’t have to be amazing as soon as you start drawing. No one can do that. You will grow and learn. Your art will change and improve, just as you will. Watching artists go through that process is a gift. It’s wonderful seeing people adapt and learn. The struggles and frustration will be worth it, if you put in the effort and keep going.
That doesn’t mean making it perfect right away. That means trying and not giving up just because it takes a long time to get where you want to be. Nothing worthwhile is easy. You can do this, I believe in you.
Cassandra looking in the mirror.
I wanted to capture the constant anxiety that haunts Cassandra, who feels constantly balanced between life and death.

That's the draw I'm most proud of Aphrodite. Hopw youl'll like it lol
