AN: I always wanted to write for rooster. Guess I finally got the kick in the ass I needed. Love you Tim Curry. Forever and always. <3
"Did she have it?" I asked, watching Rooster hang up his hat. He smiled at me as he pulled a brown packet his shirt pocket.
"Oh she had it alright." Rooster grinned. I scrambled up from the couch, hurrying over to look at the locket. "She wants a cut but then again who can blame her?" Rooster wrapped an arm around my waist as I pulled the locket out of the packet.
"Do you think the kid is gonna believe us?" I looked at him. Rooster shrugged.
"Who cares? Once we have the money, Agatha gets her back and no one is any the wiser." Rooster spun me around before taking the locket and tucking it back into his pocket. "We'll go get her in a week. Make it seem like we had to get our affairs in order before we could go pick up our darling girl." He kissed me softly before pulling me fully into his arms and moving us across the living room. I laughed as he led me into a slow dance to the music coming from the radio. "Easy street darling. We're nearly there."
"Easy street." I sighed. "Still seems like a fantasy Rooster." He pressed his cheek against mine.
"We'll be there before you know it." He assured me. "First thing I'm going to do is buy you pearls." I pulled away to look at him.
"Not a nice fancy car for yourself?" I asked, playing with his suspenders. Rooster smiled at me.
"I don't need no fancy car if I've got you." I felt my cheeks heat up.
"Rooster you flatterer." I gently pushed his chest. Rooster captured my hand over his heart.
"You wouldn't have it any other way." He crooned. I rolled my eyes at him but happily accepted his kiss. "Believe me doll. I don't need nothing if I've got you."
"Then what's with this con?" I shot back. Rooster chuckled.
"Helping my sister." He shrugged. "Getting all that money is just a plus." I wrapped my arms around his neck. "Being able to treat you how you deserve is the biggest plus. I know I ain't treated you like how you should be. How you deserve. But honey," Rooster spun me around, lifting me clean off the ground. "I've done my best. And soon my best is going to get better." I laughed as he set me back on my feet. "I love you."
"I love you too." I whispered, raking my nails over Rooster's neck as he kissed me again.
I smiled as Gene walked in the room. He smiled back at me, eyes relaxing as he saw me awake and alert. He squeezed my hand as the doctor started going over after care. I was zoned out, focusing on calming myself after the surgery. Gene gently helped me out of the chair and down the hall. I couldn't take my eyes off him as he held my door open. I sat down and watched as he hurried around to the driver's seat.
"Sorry they kicked me out." He murmured as he took my hand. Gene squeezed it as he watched me. "You feeling alright?" I nodded.
"Numb." I said, clenching my teeth so I wouldn't bite my cheek. "Otherwise it's all good man." I giggled. Gene rolled his eyes as he backed out.
"I think you need some rest." He teased. I smiled at him as I laid my head against the headrest and watched him. "Are you hungry? Did you want something to eat?" He glanced over at me as we pulled up to a red light. "We have to stop at the pharmacy for those meds. We can grab something small and soft for you when we stop." I shrugged.
"Maybe some painkillers." I said, making a face. Gene nodded and squeezed my hand again.
"Starting to feel it?" He asked. I nodded. "I'm going as fast as I can. Once we get the meds, I'll get you some water and you can take it right there in the parking lot ok?" I nodded again as I squeezed my eyes tight.
"Throbbing." I mumbled. Gene subtly sped up. Once we reached the pharmacy, he made good on his promise. Gene stood outside the car, watching me carefully as I took the painkillers.
“better?” He asked after a couple minutes. His eyes searched me for any adverse side effects.
“better.” I agreed as he stooped to kiss my head.
“good.” He got back in the car and started to drive us home. “Now rest. Anything you want sweetie. I’m your slave.” I smiled at the same reference.
“we’re going to have to change the gauze.” I mumbled. Gene looked over and saw a spot of red on my lips.
“Fuck. yeah. Almost home though. We can deal with that when we get there.” He sped up a little. “Anything else you need? Or want?”
“cuddles?” I asked. “And binge watching the office?” Gene sighed playfully.
“yeah we can binge watch the office.” He agreed. “I don’t know why you love that damn show so much.”
“Because it’s funny.” I muttered as he pulled into the driveway. Gene smiled softly at me as he helped me get out. I waited while he unlocked the door.
“give me a couple minutes to get the bathroom ready. Make it a mini triage center and then we can change the gauze.” Gene assured me, making me sit on the bed. “Then you can get changed and we can start watching alright?” I nodded.
“thank you.” I murmured, watching as he started to unpack the bags from the pharmacy. Gene paused before looking over at me.
“you don’t need to thank me.” He said softly. “I’d do anything for you.”
“I know. Doesn’t mean I can’t thank you though.” I smiled back at him. Gene blushed as he finished setting up the bathroom.
“Come on sweetie.” He offered me his hand. I took it and let him guide me towards the toilet. I sat back down, leaning against the tank. Gene moved with gentle hands as he removed the gauze from my mouth and tossed it. He covered my eyes with one hand as he checked the surgical site. “Looks good. I’ll keep an eye on it. I know you don’t want to look at it.” I nodded behind his hand as he replaced the gauze. “Ok. That’s done. Well do that again in a couple hours and rinse it. Sound good?”
“Yeah.” I mumbled as gene washed his hands. I reached out for him and gene hugged me with a smile.
“tired?” I shook my head against his stomach. “Hungry?”
“fuck no.” I mumbled. “Still kind of hurts. Not as bad as before but still hurts.” Gene kissed the top of my head.
“ok. Let’s go cuddle and watch the show.” I nodded but didn’t move. Gene chuckled and gently lifted me up. “Want to change?” I nodded against his neck. “Need help?” I nodded again. Gene brought me back to our room and set me down before grabbing one of his sweaters. He helped me out of my sweatpants and shirt before helping me pull the oversized sweater over my head. I curled up in it while gene grabbed the remote. He smiled at me when he turned to see me curled up under the blankets in his clothes waiting for him. “I know you don’t feel it but damn you’re gorgeous.” I smiled softly at him, wincing at the brief pain I felt. Gene curled up next to me and handled me the remote. Leaning my head against his shoulder, I burrowed into him.
“thank you. For all of this.” I mumbled as I started the show. Gene kissed my head.
warnings: swearing, blowjob, gene/saul is depressed
I peeked out of the kitchen when the door slammed shut. Gene looked at me with a small smile. He dropped his bag by the door and toed off his shoes.
“dinners going to be ready soon. If you want to wash up.” I said softly. Gene nodded and headed towards the bathroom. His work shirt landed outside the door and I heard the water running. I reached for the whiskey and drambuie. Gene came back in and stared at the glass.
“Thanks.” He murmured as he headed for the fridge to grab the lemon juice. “And before you say it I know I need to cut back on the drinking. I’m just…” he sighed as he poured the juice, pausing to lick some from his hand. “I’m still getting used to all this shit.” I rubbed his arm as he stood next to me.
“I’m not saying cut back.” I said. “I just…is there anything I can do to help you feel better?” Gene sighed and rubbed his head.
“no. I just have to get used to this.” He leaned over and kissed me. “I’m ok. Really.”
“how was Cinnabon?” I asked as I moved to put the food on the table. Gene shrugged as he followed me and started eating. “Anyone figuring out you’re Saul Goodman yet?”
“Thank god no.” Gene sighed. “I don’t think I have it in me to move somewhere else and start over again.” I reached over and intertwined our fingers.
“we’re going to get through this.” I reminded him. Gene nodded. We ate in silence for a bit before gene pushed away from the table. He sat there for a second staring vacantly at the table.
“Yeah.” He said. Sighing, he got up. I sat there for a moment before getting up and starting the dishes. I gripped the dish towel when I heard the start of one of Saul’s old commercials.
“Fuck.” I muttered as I made another rusty nail and carried it out to gene. He accepted it with a small smile.
“thanks.” He murmured. Gene gently pulled me into his lap. “Do you regret coming with me? Watching me become…” he gestured to himself. “This? Instead of that?” He pointed at the tv. I looked at him in all his technicolor glory.
“no. I love you for you.” I shrugged. “I would have followed you to Death Valley if you had asked me.”
“we’d be dead by now.” He scoffed. I nodded as I wrapped my arms around him.
“yeah but at least we’d be together.” I teased. Gene rolled his eyes. “That’s my point Saul. I don’t care where we are, who you are, what we’re doing. As long as I’m with you I don’t care.”
"Gene." He said automatically. "You can't call me Saul anymore." I rolled my eyes at him. "I know what you are going to say. And yes even when its just us."
"Fine. Gene." I shot back. "Anyway my point still stands. Jimmy. Saul. Gene. I don't care. As long as you are still you." I leaned in and kissed him, his mustache tickling as he carefully wrapped his hand around the back of my neck to keep me in place. "I love you." Gene grunted as he moved to kiss me again. I softly ground against him, feeling him grow as his glass hit the table next to the chair.
"God. Oh fuck." He moaned. I smiled against his lips before slipping off the couch. The commercial continued to play in the background as I reached for his pants and undid them. "You...you don't..." Gene stuttered as I gently pulled him out. "Fuck...what are you..."
"I think its obvious Gene." I laughed before licking a stripe up his cock. Gene moaned, his head falling back against the chair he was sitting in. "I'm blowing you."
"Don't stop." He breathed, his glasses slipping down his nose as I took him fully into my mouth. I slowly bobbed up and down his shaft as his hand fell to my hair. His other hand curled into the arm of the chair. "Don't...oh fuck..." I hollowed my cheeks as I ran my tongue along the veins in his cock. I pulled off him and he whined.
"Feeling better Gene?" I asked. He stared at me through the glasses sitting on the tip of his nose. I watched his chest rise and fall with each labored breath.
"I'd feel better if you continued." He breathed. "Please."
"You know you don't have to be so polite." I whispered before taking him into my mouth again. Gene moaned as his eyes fell closed. I continued to bob along his shaft before pulling off completely. He whined again as I licked his precum off the tip. Gene's breath hitched as I started to lick along his shaft.
"Fuck." He groaned, opening his eyes and looking down at me. "Oh god (Y/N)." I instantly pulled off him, making him whine.
"Nope. It's (Y/F/N). You can't call me that anymore." I shot back at him. Gene frowned at me. "If I'm not allowed to call you Saul, you can't call me (Y/N)." He nodded.
"(Y/F/N)." Gene said. I nodded before taking him again. I sucked hard on him as I ran my tongue along the bottom of his dick. "(Y/F/N). Please. I...oh fuck...I..."
I continued my ministrations as Gene slowly unraveled above me. The veins in his neck stood out as he threw his head back. I reached out and started to play with his balls when I felt him start to tense up. Gene grunted as his hips bucked up, forcing his dick further into my mouth. I sputtered and he quickly adjusted. Gene's fingers pressed against my head as I fondled his balls. His hips bucked up a second time as his whole body went tense.
"(Y/F/N)! Fuck! Oh fuck." Gene cried as he came. Some dripped out of my mouth as I pulled off him. I swallowed as he watched me. Gene's Adam's apple bobbed as I watched him swallow. He trailed his hand across the back of my head to my jaw before cupping my cheek and using his thumb to wipe away when had spilled out of my mouth. "God." He murmured.
"Feeling better now?" I asked, slowly rising up as he watched me. My eyes flickered down to his open pants and soft dick still hanging out.
"Much better." He said. We stared at each other for a moment before Gene moved to tuck himself back in his pants. "Wow. I...Let me repay the favor." He said, a glint of Saul coming to life in his eyes. I smiled at him.
"You don't have to." I said, waving my hand. "But I wouldn't mind Saul coming to visit once and a while in the bedroom." I winked at him as I headed back towards the kitchen to finish the dishes. I was in the doorway when the commercials stopped and I heard the TV turn off. The water had just been turned on when Gene appeared behind me, hand on the facet turning it back off. I looked at him as he studied me. A smirk slowly grew on his face as he grabbed me around the waist. I yelped as he pulled me towards him, kissing me forcefully. I wrapped my arms around his neck happily. Gene lifted me up and wrapped my legs around him as he forced his tongue into my mouth. I giggled as he started off in the direction of the bedroom, dishes completely forgotten as Saul came back with a vengance.
warnings: swearing, smut, reader is afab and has the same plumbing, menstruation
I curled up on the salon chair. Jimmy gave me playfully dirty look as I pulled my feet from his grasp.
“hey. That was rude.” He teased.
“Sorry.” I gave him a smile but winced. “Cramps.” Jimmy gave me a reassuring smile.
“it’s fine.” He murmured, reaching for my foot again. “How long you been having them?”
“all day.” I rubbed my hand over my stomach as Jimmy continued painting my nails. “It’s kind of what they do. Everything month. For seven days.” Jimmy shot me a look.
“hardy har har.” He shot back. I stuck my tongue out at him.
“Shut up Jimmy.” I laughed. “I’m in pain.”
“yeah.” Jimmy looked up at me again as he put the top back on the nail polish. “We should definitely do something about that.” He smirked at me.
“wait…” I tilted my head at him. “You don’t mean…something other than painkillers…” Jimmy climbed onto the chair with me and kissed me. “Jimmy…”
“that’s exactly what I mean.” Jimmy whispered. “If you’re ok with it.” I ran my fingers through his hair and hummed into his next kiss. “Let me take care of you.”
“Ok. I trust you.” I whispered. “Earn your red wings baby.” Jimmy smiled against my lips before pulling away and grabbing a towel. He lifted my hips and made sure the salon chair was covered.
“she’d charge me if she found anything.” He grumbled. I giggled.
“of course she would. And you’re just going to hide the towel in your laundry and replace it before she even notices it’s gone.” I smiled at him as he went about getting my pants off. Jimmy nodded with a shy smile, neatly folding my jeans before hooking his fingers under the waistband of my underwear.
“ready?” He asked. I nodded.
“I’m ready Jimmy.” He pulled my underwear off and set them aside. With a deep breath, he slowly parted my legs and took in the sight of me. He whistled low before looking up at me with a smirk. "Jimmy." I whined, a small laugh coming out as he sank to his knees.
"Look at you baby. All ready for me." He moaned. My fingers curled in the chair as Jimmy practically laid down in front of me, legs pulled over his shoulders. I swallowed thickly as I took him in. "If you want to stop...say so." He reassured me, squeezing my thigh. I nodded and Jimmy dove in.
"Oh fuck!" I groaned, already reaching down and grabbing Jimmy's hair. He groaned against me as he started to lick at me. My eyes fell closed as Jimmy nosed at my clit, tongue entering me. "J-Jimmy." He continued his menstruations as my grip on his hair tightened. My legs twitched over his shoulders as he ate me out. He squeezed my thigh as he pulled out only to start licking at anything that was pouring out of me.
"Fuck." Jimmy moaned as my head fell back. He glanced up at me and I could feel him smirk against me. He soon dived back in, drawing a bigger moan out of me. He chuckled as my grip tightened on his hair again. Jimmy hummed, making me feel the vibrations as my legs tightened around him again.
"Jimmy. Please. Jimmy." I panted, my nails digging into the chair. With a flick of his tongue, Jimmy had me coming. "Oh God. JIMMY!" I screamed. He pulled away from me as I came down, gently rubbing my legs with a smile on his face.
"Feeling better?" He asked. I nodded, finally opening my eyes. Jimmy was leaning against the edge of the chair, a shit eating grin on his face. A mix of my juices and blood covered his mouth.
"Oh my God Jimmy." I giggled. His smile grew, the white of his teeth clear against the red on his face. "You're going to need to wash your face."
"I thought I would just leave it for a while. Show I know how to take care of my partner." He teased. I covered my face. Jimmy was quick to pull my hands down. "Hey. Its alright. Badge of honor and all that." He said. I nodded as Jimmy helped me redress. He grabbed the towel and wiped off his face. "I'm going to go wash up. Be right back." He squeezed my hand before turning to head towards where he was living.
"On second thought..." I murmured as I followed him. "Maybe a round two isn't so bad." Jimmy chuckled as he took my hand, pulling me with him in a hurry.
warnings: swearing, threats of violence, Walt has cancer
"So it is true." Walter smirked as he walked into the room, leaving Jesse to close the door. Saul tightened his grip on me as he watched Walter come up to the desk. "You did marry them. God Saul. I knew you were the impulsive type but a marriage in three days? Wow."
"That is none of your business Walt." I hissed. "And you know it. Whatever dealings you have with Saul do not apply to me. At all." Walter nodded.
"Except you both handed me the perfect way to keep him in line." Walter leaned on Saul's desk. Jesse snuck by and sat on the couch. "Because you and I both know when he's all in, he's all in." Saul tucked me further behind him. "Oh don't be that way Saul. I won't touch a hair on their head. You know that."
"Not unless I step out of line." Saul ground out.
"But you won't do that." Walter turned and sat down next to Jesse, crossing his legs as he watched us. "Not when the pretty young thing you ran into a bar, brought to your office to fuck, and then married is in danger."
"They won't ever be in danger!" Saul cried. "What is it going to take to get that through your fucking head Walter?" He stepped to the side of his desk, his hand still resting on my hip. "You know as well as I do that they now have spousal immunity. They CAN'T ever testify in a case against me. Which means whatever they have on me, is going to come to light. They can't lie for me. They can't protect me. But they CAN testify against you. You don't want them in danger. You are going to want them on your side. Putting them in danger is not going to help you with that."
"Walt, honestly. Whatever you think you have on Saul fine. I don't give two shits about his dealings. I don't care what he does for work. If you two want to do some illegal things, fine. Just make sure he gets home safe to me. That is all I ask. Otherwise, he's right. You try to hurt me to get to Saul, everything I know, everything that comes out about you in this endeavor, I will talk." I said, standing next to Saul and slipping my hand into his. Saul looked over at me and gave me a small smile.
"You think you can scare me by threatening them, clearly you are right. But I will be damned if I let anything actually happen to them." Saul said, squeezing my hand. "It is honestly INSANE how you got every detail exactly right though. How did you know where we met? When we got married?" Saul chuckled. "Are you having me tailed?"
"You have your ways. I have mine." Walter said. Jesse looked between Saul and me.
"Honestly dude. You scored." He finally piped up. "A guy like you, with someone like them...how'd you do that?" Saul tucked me behind him again. "I'm not going to lie, if you weren't married to them I would tap that."
"Well I am. So you won't." Saul said. He narrowed his eyes at Walter. "And you will not lay a hand on them. If you do, you forget I know your brother in law."
"Hank is not going to be happy to find out his own brother in law in Heisenberg." I added. Walter stood up like a shot.
"YOU TOLD THEM?!" He screamed. Saul pushed me around the desk and I scrambled over to Jesse as Walter came for Saul. There was a sickening thud as Saul's head hit the back wall of his office. I was about to head back towards him when Jesse grabbed my hand and shook his head at me.
"They need to hash it out. Let them." He whispered. "Good for you Mx. (Y/L/N). Or should I say Mx. Goodman now." I smirked.
"So you do remember me." I murmured. Jesse nodded.
"Saul don't need to know. Yet." He shrugged. "I have to give him a hard time same as I used to do to you. Just comes with being someone I like." He squeezed my hand. "How are you? Seriously. He treating you right?"
"Yeah he is. Surprisingly." I nodded, glancing at Walter and Saul nose to nose. Walter was still screaming at Saul about telling me his secret. "Still teaching though. Still got the same classroom and everything. Not much has changed since you left."
"You know why Mr. White is doing this right?" Jesse whispered, glancing at the older man who was now in the middle of a coughing fit.
"The cancer." I nodded. Jesse gave me a sad smile.
"Couldn't happen to a worse guy." He muttered.
"Don't let Walt hear you say that. He thought you always hated him." I glanced at Jesse.
“he wasn’t that bad. If it wasn’t for him I’d be shittier at making meth.” Jesse shrugged with a laugh. A yell made us both snap towards the other two in the room.
“oh shit.” I ran over and grabbed Walter’s arm. There was some slack in his arm when I started pulling it away from Saul’s throat. “Get the fuck away from him. I will call huell if I need to.” Walter dropped his arm and backed up. Saul groaned as he rubbed his throat. I put my hands on his cheeks as I looked him over. “Walter. Get the fuck out. Now.” I glared at him over my shoulder. “Whatever this is, it’s over. Saul has proven himself to you. Hell I have proven myself to you. You leave me alone. I’ll leave you alone. And your precious secret is kept.” Walter held up his hands as he backed out.
“This isn’t the last you have heard from me.” He warned.
“Yeah you’ll be back tomorrow waiting to hear about that guy I know.” Saul choked out. Jesse looked between Walter and Saul.
“Congrats again yo.” He said, nodding at us. “Happy marriage or whatever.” I nodded at him as the two left.
“Are you alright?” I asked, heading for the water station and filling a cup. Saul drank it down greedily as he nodded.
“Yeah. We just get under each others skins.” He coughed, his voice starting to return to normal. “But damned if I don’t wish I hadn’t taken him in as a client. Jesse I can handle. Woody Harrelson out there isn’t so terrible.”
“good to know we agree on that.” I laughed. Saul gave me a look. “His senior year was my first year teaching. He was…” I chuckled. “Exactly how you would imagine him as a student.” Saul chuckled and drew me back into his embrace.
“now I kind of feel sorry for you.” He laughed. “A whole class of pinkmans.” I laughed and rested my head against his shoulder as Saul started to sway.
“honestly some days I’d prefer it.” I murmured. Saul kissed my head.
“we did it.” He breathed. “We stood up to Walter white and survived.” I turned my head and smiled sadly.
Warnings: swearing, crying, Saul does something without talking to reader first
AN: got some news today and not taking it as well as I should I guess. So here we are. Living vicariously through fanfiction again.
I sniffled as I walked through the apartment door. Saul looked up from the coffee table. He smiled at me as I shuffled into the room. I put my bag down and leaned against the couch, running a hand down my face.
“everything ok?” Saul asked. I shrugged.
“Yes and no.” I mumbled. “House I practically grew up in is on the market now. No one even mentioned it. Just popped a for sale sign in the yard and hired a realtor.” I wiped at my eyes. Saul got up and wrapped me up in a hug. “I get it. No one has to tell anyone they’re selling the house. Just…” I sniffled again and Saul hugged me tighter. “I grew up there. All my good memories are there. One day I’m gonna drive by and everything is going to be…different. Which is fine but…” I wiped at my eyes as my bottom lip started to wobble. Saul pressed a kiss to my head and held me tight.
“yeah I know.” He soothed. “It sucks. Especially when all your memories of the place are good.” I nodded against his shoulder as tears freely streamed down my face. “I’m here baby. I’m here. It’s ok.” I cried into his shoulder, passing out from sheer exhaustion not long after. Saul carefully picked me up and carried me to the bedroom, getting me ready for bed before grabbing the laptop and searching for the house I was talking about. “Hmmmm…” Saul murmured, looking over at me before starting to click around.
I woke up the next morning with a headache. Saul was already up and making breakfast. He smiled softly at me as he passed me the coffee. I rubbed my eyes as I took a sip.
“feeling any better?” He asked. I shook my head.
“they always say you’ll feel better after you let your emotions out but honestly I feel like shit.” I groaned. Saul chuckled and kissed my head.
“yeah. That happens.” He teased. “Francesca called while you were asleep. I have a couple clients that I have to meet at the jail this morning so I’m going to head out early. I won’t be able to give you a ride again today.”
“I’m starting to miss those.” I mumbled into my coffee cup. “But go be a big shot lawyer. I’ll be fine.” I waved him off. Saul frowned.
“you sure?” He asked. I nodded. “Alright call me if you need anything. I mean it. Love you.”
“Love you too.” I whispered as he bent down for a kiss. His finger tilted my chin up for a second as he started to straighten up. I gave him a small smile as he headed out the door. I finished the coffee and grabbed some toast before heading to get ready for my work day. My phone was blowing up with family members, each more concerned about the house. I put the phone on silent and shoved it deep into my bag before heading out the door for a day of mind numbing work. This routine went on for a week. Saul would leave early. There’d be new messages to take care of. Then mindless work before heading home to cuddle with Saul and eat bad Chinese food while watching trashy television. The cycle finally broke when Saul called me on my lunch break.
“how soon can you meet me at the offices? Like take the rest of the day off and meet me here?” Saul asked, sounding like he was out of breath.
“I don’t know. Maybe twenty minutes. Why? Is everything ok?” I asked, panic rising in my chest. Saul laughed. The sound was light and airy.
“everything’s fucking great.” He said. “I just…have a surprise for you is all.” I blinked at my computer as I sent an email to my boss.
“ok…” I trailed off as I grabbed my things. “Saul, you’re kind of scaring me.”
“everything is fine (Y/N). I promise you.” Saul said, his voice evening out. “Please come to the office. I’ll explain everything.”
“alright. I’ll see you soon.” Saul hung up before I could finish my sentence. “Well then.” I quickly headed outside and drove to Saul’s office. Each red light seemed to stretch on for eternity as I tapped my finger against the steering wheel. When I finally pulled up, Saul was waiting next to his car. “Saul what is going on?” I asked. He opened the passenger door of his Cadillac and waited for me to get in. The smile on his face could only grow the longer it took to get out of the parking lot.
“so I may have done something behind your back.” Saul started. “But don’t be mad at me. It’s my money and I wanted to do something nice for you.”
“ok…” I stared at him. Saul was pushing the speed limit and anxiously tapping the steering wheel.
“uh I don’t want you to be mad at me.” He reiterated.
“I won’t be mad.” I said. Saul snickered.
“Abby someone.” He teased. I rolled my eyes. “No no serious time.” Saul reached over and grabbed my hand. “You know I love you. And I’d do anything for you. Especially because I hate to see you cry…” Saul trailed off as he pulled up in front of the house that stored all my childhood memories. I felt my eyes well up with tears as I stared at it. “Come on.” He got out of the car and helped me out. I wiped at the tears as we crossed the yard.
“the new owners are going to be pissed we’re lurking about Saul.” I warned. Saul chuckled as he pulled a set of keys out of his pocket.
“I don’t think they are.” Saul unlocked the door and turned back towards me, holding the keys out. I gasped as the door swung open and the keys landed in my hand.
“what?” I walked through the door, speechless as I took everything in. “Saul…you didnt…” he smiled at me.
“I did.” He said, coming up behind me and hugging me. “You happy? I didn’t fuck up?”
“Saul I’m beyond speechless. I never thought…no one has ever…not this level of thoughtfulness… I cant…” Saul kissed my shoulder and smiled.
“I’m glad you’re happy.” He whispered. “It’s yours. Your name is on the deed. All the paperwork. I just paid for it. All. Yours.” He kissed my cheek as I started crying. “What do you think?”
“I know it was just remodeled…” I choked out. “But we need to put the carpet back in.” Saul laughed. “All these hardwood floors are just too much.” He smiled at me as I broke out of his hold to go exploring, keeping a tight hold on his hand.
“yeah.” He said, watching me with a soft look in his eye. “We should definitely do something about that.”
saul balanced the tray of coffee as he held the door open for me. He smiled at me sweetly as I pulled a cup free from the tray. I walked over to Francesca’s desk and handed it to her.
“wow. Saul Goodman bringing me coffee?” She raised an eyebrow as he looked sheepishly at the ground. “Honey you might just make him turn a new leaf yet.” She patted my arm as we headed into his office.
“I don’t want to be terribly rude but you’re going to have to run off when there are clients.” Saul said. He slipped off his wedding ring and handed it to me. “I’m trusting you to keep this safe.” He smiled at me. Slipping the ring onto my middle finger, I wrapped his tie around my hand and pulled him into a kiss.
“I know Saul.” I cupped his cheek and deepened the kiss. “I’ll see you at lunch.” Saul smiled as I snuck back out and headed towards reception. “Need any help? I have the day off.”
“and you want to spend it making copies?” Francesca eyed me wearily.
“I mean ideally I’d be heading on my honeymoon but Saul and I need to handle some stuff before we do that so…” I shrugged. “Copied don’t sound too terrible.” Francesca chuckled as she shook her head.
“alright. Just make sure huell or I can see you.” I raised an eyebrow at her. “Oh yeah. We already know how defensive and protective of you Saul is. And it is going to get worse with a few of these clients.” She gave me a look that already told me she knew who Saul was protecting me from. I nodded and took the stack of papers from her. The copy machine was down the hall from her little cubicle, giving me a clear view of the waiting room and huell. He raised a hand at me and I nodded back at him.
“Francesca, can I ask you something?” I asked as I came back with the copies. She nodded as I took a seat behind the wall. “You’ve known Saul a long time right?”
“yeah. Back when…” she cut herself off and glanced at me. “When he was trying to make a difference.”
“as Jimmy.” I finished. She looked at me in surprise. “Judge Rodriguez kind of let it slip during the wedding.” I smiled with a shrug. “Plus I remember the billboards. I may be young but I’m not that young.” Huell chuckled and shook his head.
“So you know? He told you?” She asked. I nodded. “That’s surprising. I didn’t know Saul had it in him to tell anyone about any of that.”
“He even told me about the three ex wives.” I said, leaning back in my chair. “You uh…ever meet any of them?” Francesca glanced at huell. He shrugged.
“we knew kim. Wife number three.” Huell grunted. “She was…well you’ve met Saul. She was a pretty good match for him. Until the end.”
“what happened?” I asked. Francesca sighed.
“she screwed him over, broke his heart and left.” She scowled. “And that’s all I’m going to say about her because I was raised right.” Huell chuckled and nodded.
“mama raised me right but she was a bitch to Saul.” He chuckled. “He didn’t deserve that. And he wouldn’t be involved as deep as he is in half the shit he is if she had stayed out of it.” Francesca nodded with a roll of her eyes.
“ain’t that the truth.” She muttered. The intercom went off.
“Francesca? Can you send our uhm special guest back please?” Saul called through. I got up as Francesca buzzed me through.
“ignoring work are we Saul?” I asked as I locked the door behind me. He chuckled and shook his head.
“no.” He pouted. “Well kind of. It’s hard to get any work done when I know you’re out there.” I smiled as he reached out for me. “Getting along with Francesca and Huell?” I nodded as Saul pulled me into his lap.
“Just telling me about your last ex wife Kim.” Saul made a face. “Yeah I’d say that is equal agreement all around.” Saul chuckled as he kissed my cheek. He pressed his head against my temple as he sighed.
“I’ll tell you more about her one day if you want to know.” Saul murmured. “Just not today. I’ve already got a headache and is it just me or are people actually getting dumber?”
“not just you.” I laughed, running my fingers through his hair. “Why am I just now realizing you sort of have some kind of mullet going on?” Saul pulled back and looked at me in surprise.
“You never noticed that before?” He asked, eyebrows scrunched together. “With the amount of times you’ve run your fingers through my hair since we met I would have thought you knew that already.” I shook my head as I craned forward in order to look at it. Saul turned his head to the side and laughed when I traced the length. “Sweetheart you’re very easily distracted from things.”
“only when it involves you.” I murmured, eyeing his hair. “Oddly enough you suit a mullet. Grow a proper one for me one day?”
“never again sweetheart.” Saul shook his head. “I can show you pictures but I am never indulging that fashion trend again.” I raised an eyebrow at him. “This isn’t a full mullet. It’s more like a rat tail if you will. So no I won’t do it again.” I rolled my eyes and Saul laughed as he pulled me tighter against him. “There. That’s one thing I can say no to you about.” I laughed as he smiled at me.
“good for you.” I teased. Saul chuckled as I reached out and tugged on his tie. He let me pull him towards me and into a kiss.
"Keep doing that and I'll bend you over this desk." He murmured against my lips as he moved to deepen the kiss. I hummed.
"That doesn't sound half bad." I breathed when we broke away. "Although I've always wondered if I could fit under this desk." Saul's eyes widened. "Then have you pulled right up to the edge..." I ran a finger over his collar. "Wonder if any of your clients would know." I laughed. Saul started to blush. "See if you could keep your calm while I blow you within an inch of your life." I leaned in close and kissed Saul's cheek. He gulped just as the intercom buzzed.
"Saul! He's...." Saul and I turned towards the door as it flung open.
"Fuck." Saul breathed, standing up so fast I nearly fell out of his lap. He put his arm around my waist and pushed me behind him. Walter White stood in the doorway, glaring at the two of us while Jesse Pinkman glanced around him.

"How did tonight go?" Winston asked, putting his book down and looking me over with a small smirk. He always enjoyed the sight of me in my super suit. I tossed my mask onto the dresser and sighed, leaning back on it. "That bad huh?"
"Took a few hits. And they still got away." I ran a hand down my face. "The Incredibles stepped in and took care of it. So guess who looks all amazing and..." I rolled my eyes and waved my hand. "Incredible while I look like an idiot. Again." Winston got out of bed and walked over to hug me.
"You never look like an idiot." He murmured, hands roaming my back over my suit. "KQRY showed your fight. You looked badass."
"You always think I look badass." I muttered, trying to break away from Winston. He caught me and pulled me back into his embrace.
"Because you do." He chuckled. "I'm allowed to think so."
"You're just a supe nerd who happens to be dating his favorite." I shot back. Winston's eyes flashed before understanding settled in. "And if you can't keep your hands to yourself Deavor, I'm going to tie them up." He smirked at me as his hands slid down to my ass.
"But I just love how you feel in spandex." He murmured. "Edna really outdid herself with this one." I grabbed his hand and pulled it away.
"You are playing with fire Deavor." I growled. Winston's smirk grew.
"Oh I know." He leaned in close. "But I know you won't use your powers against me. You love me too much." I narrowed my eyes at him. Winston winked at me.
"You want me to tie you up." I realized. "You want me to take my frustration out on you." Winston nodded eagerly.
"Can the suit stay on?" He asked, practically bouncing on the balls of his feet. "Please?" I let out a chuckle.
"You are one weird nerd you know that Win?" I asked as I reached for the rope in my utility belt. Winston nodded eagerly.
"What can I say?" He shrugged as I tied his wrists together. "I love supes. Especially you."
"That did not come out as sweet as you meant it." I muttered as I walked him backwards towards the bed. He sat down and I pushed him back. "Middle of the bed Win. I don't want to fall off." Winston nodded eagerly. Despite myself, I could feel a smile growing. I crawled onto the bed, settling over his lap. Winston sighed as he looked at me lovingly. I leaned down and kissed him, hard and fast. Winston tried his best to keep up as my hands roamed. His hands couldn't do more than pressed against my stomach as they got trapped between us.
"you come to save me?" Winston sighed happily. I rolled my eyes at him.
"From what? Those boring ass laws you were reading?" I asked. Winston winced.
"Hey those boring ass laws are what is keeping you from getting arrested in this badass suit and unmasked for everyone to see. So forgive me if I want to make sure that everything is air tight." Winston shot back. I held my hands up in surrender.
"Alright then Mr. Big Shot." I amended. "Still saved you from them." Winston nodded. I kissed him again as my hands moved from his chest to his hips. I curled my gloved fingers under the waistband of his boxers and tugged them down. Winston hissed as they brushed against his dick. I bit my lip as I tugged them off and tossed them in the corner. Winston's breath hitched as I shimmied the bottoms of my supersuit off.
"I am so indebted to Edna." Winston groaned. "Remind me to send her a massive fruit basket or something." I chuckled as I straddled him again.
"Better yet send her giant skeins of spandex for more suits." I teased. "What is it with you and spandex Win? Seems like some sort of fetish or something." Winston opened his mouth to answer but was cut off by a moan as I sank down on him. His fingers tried to curl into my suit and caught on the flap that covered my zipper.
"Oh fuck (Y/N)." He breathed. "Warn a man next time." I laughed as I raised myself up on my knees before sinking down again. "Fuck."
"Win." I breathed out as I set an unrelenting pace. My fingers curled into his tshirt as I rode him with abandon. "Oh shit Win."
"Careful." He breathed out as sparks flew from my fingertips. "Don't shock me." I quickly let go of his shirt.
"Oh fuck Win. You feel so good." I sighed as reached for the nightstand, my chest ending up in his face. I grabbed the power restraint that Winston had devtech make. It was meant to subdue any super villain that crossed the path of a super on Winston’s payroll. But in times like this it came in handy. I clamped it down on my own wrist and curled my fingers in Winston’s shirt again. I moaned as I sat back up, the muscles in my thighs burning as I kept up my unrelenting pace. “Win. Win. Oh god.” I moaned as I came. Winston’s fingers caught on the edge of my suit, curling into the fabric to keep me from toppling over as I role out the wave. His hips started the thrust up into me.
“That’s it. That’s it sweetheart.” He babbled. “Give me all you got. I can take it.” My head fell back as I kept repeating his name. “I’m here baby. I got you.” Winston ground against me, dragging out my orgasm as his snuck up on him. “I got you (Y/N).” His voice cracked as I felt him cum in me. Our hips slowed to a halt, Winston using his slight grip on me to pull me against his chest. I lazily undid the rope around his wrists.
“sorry.” I murmured as I looked at the red lines just below where his shirt sleeves would lie. “I didn’t mean to make them so tight.”
“It’s alright.” He assured me as he worked on getting the rest of my suit off. “Are you doing alright?” I nodded as I tucked my head under his chin.
“yeah. I needed that.” I pressed a kiss to his jaw. “Thank you.”
“anytime darling.” He breathed as he buried his face in the top of my head. “Anytime.” He pressed a kiss there as he rubbed my back, easing me into sleep.

Saul and I had collapsed on the bed after unpacking everything. It had been early in the morning when we finished, both of us shedding our clothes before we passed out under the covers. And we were lucky we made it that far. Empty boxes and beer bottles littered the house. My alarm went off, making me groan and saul bury his face in my shoulder as I turned it off.
“I know it’s the last day and all but I really don’t want to go to work.” I mumbled, face planted in my pillow.
“I don’t think you should go either.” Saul responded, his voice rough from sleep. “Not until we face Walter. I don’t like the idea of you being alone all day with him.”
“I won’t be alone.” I reminded him, rolling over and cupping his cheek. He squinted at me as the sun poured into the room, making both of our heads hurt. “I’ve got carmine. And the other teachers. Not to mention all the security staff and janitorial staff and the kids.” Saul frowned. “If he wanted to try something he’d have too many witnesses.”
“I still don’t like it.” Saul murmured. “But it’s still your choice. I’m not changing my mind on not being that kind of husband.” I smiled softly at him before getting out of bed and closing the blinds. I could feel his eyes on me as I reached for my phone and dialed the school.
“hey carmine. I know it’s the last day of school but…oh. Yeah. Thanks.” I called, smiling at Saul and hanging up before climbing back into bed. “She was going to make me take off today anyway. Told me to start my honeymoon early. Called it a wedding present.” Saul smiled as he pulled me onto his chest.
“Thank god.” He murmured as he kissed my head. “You can come to the office with me today. And tomorrow you can go to the school with huell to clean out your classroom.” I nodded as I ran my fingers over his chest. “That’s a thing you do right? Not just in the movies?”
“yeah. I have to do it at the end of every school year. And before winter break.” I confirmed. Saul gave me a look. "What?" I asked, laughing as his hand closed over my fingers.
"Nothing. Just..." He laughed as he pulled my hand up to kiss my ring. "We never did get a chance to christen this marriage bed last night." I laughed as he kissed my wrist.
"No. I guess we didn't." Saul hummed as he kissed up my arm. I started giggling as he reached my shoulder before burying his face in my neck. I could feel him trying to leave a hickey as I threaded my fingers through his hair.
"What's so funny?" He murmured, breath warm against my neck.
"Nothing Gomez." I giggled as he pulled back to look at me. His eyes scanned my face before it broke out into a wide grin. "Oh no. I'm creating a monster." I laughed as he kissed up my arm again. He leaned in close, his lips hovering over mine.
"Cara mia." He breathed. I started giggling as my face heated up. Saul’s smile grew as he watched me squirm. “Look at you. I would die for you. I would kill for you.” Saul kissed me softly. “Either way what bliss.” My giggles increased as I turned my head to press my face into his shoulder.
“Saul.” I whined. He chuckled as he kissed my head.
“You must have a bit of witch in you.” Saul murmured. “For you have bewitched me.”
“That’s ichabod crane Saul.” I laughed. He shrugged.
“ah. A simple mistake.” He laughed before kissing me again. “Querida.” I tried to further bury my face in his neck but Saul pulled back. “Why does that embarrass you so?”
“It doesn’t embarrass me.”
“your laughter and complexion say otherwise.” Saul ran a finger over my cheeks. “Come on. You can trust me.”
“im not embarrassed. It’s just…” I finally looked at him and smiled. “I always wanted a man who could treat me like Gomez Addams. And when you kissed my arm like that, it slipped out. I didn’t expect you to keep going.” I admitted. Saul smiled softly at me. “It’s hot. And sweet. And I love that you did it.”
“then I will continue to do it when you least expect it. Because you, my dear, are my Morticia.” Saul kissed me softly again. I melted into the kiss as Saul rolled me onto my back. He slotted himself between my legs as the kiss deepened. He pulled my legs up around his waist. “Up for a little roll in the sheets?”
“always mon cher.” I whispered. Saul shuddered as he kissed me again. He kissed along my jaw as I ran my hands through his hair. “Saul.” I moaned. He reached down to line himself up. I pulled him in for another kiss.
“How did I get so lucky?” Saul murmured before thrusting into me. We both moaned as he bottomed out. Saul held still as he gave me time to adjust. “Fuck I am never going to get tired of this feeling.”
“You’ve ruined me for anyone else Saul.” I whispered. He pulled back, eyes wide as he stared at me. He swallowed hard before kissing me forcefully.
“I love you.” Saul choked out. “I love you. I love you.” He started thrusting into me at a relentless pace. “I love you (Y/N). I love you.” I moaned as I held onto Saul as I jerked up the bed.
“Saul. What…” I panted. “Saul oh fuck.” My fingers dug into his back, my nails leaving indents. Saul's hair flopped in front of his face. He kissed me hard as he kept up his bruising pace. "Saul. Please Saul."
"That's it. Take me." He breathed. "Take all of me. Ain't no one else going to be able to fill you like me. Ain't no one going to ever make you feel as good as me."
"No one else Saul." I breathed, my head falling back against the pillows. "Only you. Only you Saul." Saul growled as he hitched my leg further up his waist. I moaned as Saul leaned down and bit my neck. "FUCK!" I screamed, my orgasm coming out of no where.
"Give it to me." He growled. "Got another in you. I know it. Give me another one." My eyes fluttered closed as Saul gripped my hips, tilting them higher up. I moaned as he went deeper with the change in angle. Saul groaned as I tightened around him, my second orgasm quickly following the first. "Fuck yes (Y/N)." He panted, hips stuttering.
"Saul." I breathed. He shook his head.
"Say it. Say my name." Saul was quickly losing control.
"Jimmy." I sighed, reaching up and running my fingers through his hair as his head fell to my shoulder. He came with a groan. His hips continued to stutter as he panted against my neck. "Jimmy. I love you."
"I love you too sweetheart." He breathed out, pulling back. "I didn't hurt you did I?" I shook my head as I cupped his cheek. Saul leaned into it.
"No. I liked it honestly." I smiled softly at him. Saul smiled sheepishly. "You're kind of hot when you're feral." Saul blushed and turned his head to kiss my palm.
"Yeah well hearing that I ruined you kind of unlocked something in me." He shrugged before slowly pulling out. He kissed me softly before heading to grab something to clean us up. Saul ventured into the closet before coming back with clothes for me. He laid them at the end of the bed with a soft smile. When he came back out of the closet, he was buttoning a black dress shirt.
"I've only ever seen you in color." I said, sitting up on my elbows. "This is new." Saul smiled at me.
"Figured I'd try something out. Suit is white." He said. I whistled low as he tucked his shirt into his pants. I crawled out of bed and started getting dressed myself. Saul tilted his head as he watched me, failing at tying his tie in the process. I laughed when I turned around to see him glaring at the piece of fabric like it had personally offended him.
“need some help there?” I asked, gently untangling his hands. Saul gave me an appreciative look.
“please?” I bit my lip as I looked away from him. The fabric moved smoothly through my hands as I worked on the tie.
“you know one day you’re going to get in a lot of trouble with that look.” I muttered.
“what look?”
“the puppy dog eyes.” I glanced up at him as I pulled the tie up to his collar. “Those damn blue eyes will get you anything Saul.”
“only from you.” He whispered before kissing me. “Thank you.” I smoothed his tie over his chest.
“you’re welcome.” I kissed him again before moving to grab what I needed for a day at his office. “Ready?”

warnings: swearing, Winston gets kidnapped
I rubbed my temples as I saw the ransom note on the television. Screenslaver had taken Winston in an attempt to draw me out. Trudging to the bookshelf, I pulled the copy of my favorite book down. The bookshelf slid back and moved to the side. I headed down the stairs towards the closet where my supersuit was hung.
“computer, call frozone.” I sighed. “And the incredibles.” The computer started dialing as I got changed. A tone played that indicated a lost connection. I sighed before heading to my car. The tires squealed as I tore out of the underground garage. The news played on the radio as I tried to weave through traffic.
“Screenslaver has apparently kidnapped Winston deavor, the CEO of devtech. To further this shocking turn of events almost all of the superheroes of the city are mysteriously missing.” The reporter said. “Early reports state that screenslaver has also kidnapped the heroes. Which leaves the question who is left to save them?”
“Me that’s who.” I muttered, turning off the radio. “On my way to save my idiot boyfriend and hopefully find everyone else.” The gps beeped as I turned the corner. My eyes narrowed behind my mask as it looked like the location screenslaver was sending me to was right under me. “The sewers. Fuck. Ok.” I turned the wheel and gritted my teeth as I pulled over a manhole cover. The floor slid back on my car and I pulled it up. I slipped out of the car and into the hole. My car took off as I slid the cover back into place. Climbing down the ladder, I trudged through the damp cement tunnel. I hung my head as I came to a door.
I pressed my hand against the keyhole and blasted it with a laser. The door swung open and I snuck through. There was a light at the end of the hallway. I carefully picked my way towards it, keeping my ears open for any sound that might signal screenslaver coming. I frowned as I made it to a door and didn’t encounter anyone.
“(Y/S/N)! Yo came to save me!” Winston cheered. “Wow. Such an honor. Imagine. Little old me getting saved by you.” He was doing a bad job at hiding the fact we knew each other on a different level than he had with the other heroes. I rolled my eyes behind my mask as Winston waved his hands at me. They were poorly tied together but Winston being Winston he couldn’t get out of it if he tried to. I looked around the room.
“Where’s screenslaver?” I asked, walking over to untie him. “And the other supes?”
“the other supes?” Winston looked at me confused as he rubbed his wrists. “What do you mean?” Real concern appeared in his eyes. “If this guy took them we have to…”
“No. No we Mr. Deavor. Just me.” I shook my head at him. Winston gave me a sharp look. “You’re a civilian. One who is on our side sure but a civilian nonetheless. And you are going to go wait in my car where it is safe.” I gave him a look that had him deflating. “I will be back to take you safely home.” Winston opened his mouth to argue but closed it when I walked over to the computer in front of me. “Not here.” I murmured. “Not…anywhere…” I furrowed my eyebrows and reached out to type on the computer.
“uh (Y/S/N)?” Winston called. I turned my head. “Not to interrupt but wouldn’t it be safer to try to find them from my lab?” He was frantically looking between me and the computer. I narrowed my eyes at him before noticing the hum from the device in front of me.
“you’re right.” I murmured. “Let’s go.” I grabbed the shoulder of his suit and started hauling him down the hall. We got to the door to the sewer when there was an explosion. I pushed Winston into the sewer and slammed the door shut behind us. I felt the door vibrate with the force of the explosion. “Fuck that’s strong. What did he use?”
“c4.” Winston murmured. He was still rubbing his wrists. “I…saw him wire it.” I looked at Winston with wide eyes. “It’s why I wanted to help. To get you out of the room…” he nervously looked around. “Can we finish this conversation in your car?” I nodded before slipping his jacket off. “Hey!”
“bugs.” I muttered as I worked on getting him stripped down to his undershirt and boxers. “Don’t want to risk it.” Winston glared at me slightly as he followed me down the sewer towards the manhole cover. Using my wrist guard, I got my car into position with the floor open before I sent Winston up the ladder. He moved the cover with some difficulty before I climbed up after him. Once everything was back in place, I sped off. I took off my mask and looked over at him. “Oh don’t be mad. You know as well as I do that screenslaver only took you to get to me. We were never really that careful anyway.”
“yeah but my suit (Y/N)!” He complained. I chuckled as he pouted.
“win come on. It’s just a suit.” I reached over to take his hand and chuckled when he pulled away. "You have like ten of them Winston. Come on."
"Still can be upset about it." Winston huffed. I rolled my eyes again.
"So you saw Screenslaver." I prompted. Winston nodded as he ran a hand down his face.
"Yeah. He knocked me out at home. Tied me up. Left me in that office. I think he wanted to take the two of us out at the same time. I don't think he knew I was awake when he wired the computer." Winston sighed. "(Y/N), where are the other supers?" Just then my phone rang.
"(Y/S/N)." I answered.
"Hey. You called earlier?" Mr. Incredible said. I sighed in relief. "Everything alright? I saw about Winston Deavor."
"Yeah everything is fine. I got him." I said. "What about you guys? Everything fine?"
"Yeah. Dash's track meet ran over. Frozone was there. I'll pass the news on." He said. "You sure everything is good?"
"The other supers might be missing again. Although now I think it might have been a trap for us." I sighed. Winston played with his fingers.
"Mr. Incredible, I think the targets were us. Me. (Y/N). And your family." Winston said. "You are the core group that is working with DevTech to change the law. The other supers...well...they're new. They don't know anything about this. I think they were taken under false pretense that I was going to be there to talk to them."
"Do you know where they went Mr. Deavor?" Elastagirl asked.
"I might. But that would also mean I might know who Screenslaver is." Winston shared a look with me and finally reached over to grab my hand. "I think Screenslaver is Evelyn. She's on our yacht."
Hi there, I hope you are well! Would you consider writing more for "Mother" Roskow, writing for Ray Zalinsky? Maybe also more Austin Milbarge?
I kind of write where I’m at. So right now I’m really into breaking bad so it’s mostly Saul Goodman/Jimmy McGill. I have a couple requests I just haven’t been able to get into the mood to write because they’re vastly different characters.
maybe one day I’ll revisit those characters (you can literally track when I’m back into Dan aykroyd through my master list it’s been like three times in the last five years or so maybe) but for right now unfortunately I’ve got nothing. Sorry.
warnings: swearing, probably blasphemy he’s the devil after all, menstruation, mention of drugs
“What’s wrong?” John asked, sitting on the edge of the couch. “You practically avoided me all day at the office and now you’re hiding all the way back here watching the rain.” He ran the back of his hand over my cheek. “Come on. You can tell me.”
“I just haven’t felt well today.” I shrugged. John raised an eyebrow at me.
”darling what have i told you about lying to me?” He said, putting his hands together. “I don’t like it when you lie to me.” I rolled my eyes at him. “It’s your period isn’t it?”
“you and your damn puppy dog eyes John!” I laughed as he smiled at me. “Yes it is. Felt like shit and I knew you were going to want me to take the rest of the day off and we couldn’t afford to do that. So I ran away from you.” I leaned onto him. “Even though I knew you’d be pissed off about it.” John wrapped an arm around my shoulders.
“You’re right. It did piss me off.” He sighed. “But it’s understandable.” He drew little circles into my arm. “You know, I could work a little…magic so to speak.”
“I thought all your powers were taken in the fall.” I said, looking up at him. John smirked at me.
“you believe everything you read in that book?” He asked, clearly amused. “Absentee landlord remember? Some stuff sneaks by.” John brought his fist up to his mouth, mimed blowing into it and pretended to throw something away. “I’ve still got a little something something up my sleeve.” I chuckled at him.
“sure. And the almighty wouldn’t notice if all of a sudden his greatest design flaw stopped working?” I scoffed. “That’s bullshit John and you know it.” He shrugged.
“still worth a try.” He chuckled. “Eternal punishment for one act of rebellion. Stupidest idea I’ve ever heard of.” I nodded in agreement. “How about you and I take the rest of the week off? Hmm? That young hotshot Lomax can handle some more cases. He’s blowing through the plea deals like a pile of coke.”
“when are you planning on telling him you’re daddy dearest?” I asked, moving to lean against him as I turned my attention back to the rain. John started rubbing his hand over where my cramps were the worst. His hand heated up slightly, making me sink back against his chest.
“All in due time.” John muttered. “He’s not ready yet. That young wife of his though. Never in a million years did I think I’d find anyone so easy to tempt. But she is ripe for the picking.”
“looking to trade me in?” I teased, tilting my head back to look at him. John chuckled before tilting his head down to kiss me.
“never sweetheart.” He assured me. “Never.”
“good.” I sighed as my cramps started to subside. “Lomax suspects though. He confronted his mother the other day. She may have let slip that his father was the devil but in his mind…well that’s just a sweet little term of endearment she’s using to say he was a prick.”
“I plan to keep it that way a little while longer.” John said, looking out the window. “Both his wife and his mother will probably go mad with his rantings and ravings.” John chuckled. “That case I gave him back home is headed towards appeals. Maybe I’ll make him watch how that one goes.”
“ruining a man’s career? Isn’t that a little below the devil?” I asked, smiling up at him. John shrugged with a smirk.
“technically so is falling for a mortal but look at the pretty little thing in my lap.” He teased back. “Still the easiest temptation I’ve ever done. And who knew. You were able to tempt the devil himself. Got to be some kind of award for that.” I laughed as John kissed my cheek.
“yeah well…” I turned to look at him again. “As far as I’m concerned the only kind of devil you are to me is between the sheets.” John grinned wickedly at him.
“and as long as you behave and don’t pull the kind of crap you pulled today, that’s the only kind of devil I will ever be to you.” He leaned in close enough that our noses touched. “Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to raise a little hell on poor Mr. Lomax.”
“and then you’re going to come back and be my personal heater.” I said, leaning in to kiss John. He smiled against my lips as he ran his tongue along my bottom lip, asking for entrance. I happily granted it, almost moaning as his forked tongue flicked into my mouth. John pulled away with a chuckle.
“Don’t wait up.” He smirked before straightening his suit and heading back out.
warnings: swearing, menstruation, mention of harassment
I tucked my legs under me as I channel surfed. I rolled my eyes as I passed by the news networks, finding them still bashing Winston’s attempt to reintroduce supers to the public. A cramp rolled through me making me wince. I heard the door open and glanced over. Winston smiled at me as he closed it behind him.
“hey. Thought I’d find you here.” He said, sitting down next to me and throwing his arm over the back of the couch. I adjusted so I was laying against him. “Heard you left early today. Everything alright?”
“Wasn’t feeling great today.” I murmured. Winston hugged me tightly. “Thought I’d get out of everyone’s hair and rest up.” Winston started rubbing circles into my back.
“are you feeling better now?” He whispered, pressing his face into my hair.
“a little. I took some painkillers. Had a heating pad earlier.” I tilted my head up to look at him, accidentally bumping our noses together. “Sorry.” I smiled softly at him. Winston tilted his head so our noses were touching.
“no big deal.” He smiled at me. “About today…” Winston sighed as he rubbed his nose against mine. “I heard what Susanne talked to you about…”
“oh. That.” I said, ducking my head to lay it on his chest. I felt the tears well up at the mere thought of the meeting with my supervisor. “It was nothing.”
“nothing doesn’t make you cry.” Winston pressed a kiss to the back of my neck. “Nothing doesn’t make you decide to just up and go home.” I blinked and watched a tear fall onto his blue suit. “(Y/N)…”
“a client called to complain about me.” I admitted, sniffling. “Susanne told me we needed to talk about it but bashed my customer service instead. Even though the recorded call would prove me right.” Winston pressed another kiss to my neck as my shoulders shook. “They said that I’d been bad mouthing you. That I had said the whole screen slaver thing happened because of your trust in supers.” Winston held me tighter. “And Susanne said if I had spent as much time brushing up on my customer service skills as I did shacking up with you, then maybe I wouldn’t have so many issues.”
“Did she mention the issue with Ben again?” Winston asked. “I know that was an issue too.”
“Oh yeah. That even though he lied about me harassing him and he openly admitted to harassing me, it was on my record and there wasn’t anything anyone could do about it now.” I sniffled again and Winston sighed. He tilted my head up so I would look at him. I tried to blink away my tears but he wiped them away instead.
“my offer still stands.” He whispered. “Please take it. This isn’t worth…” I cut him off.
“I’m fine win. Just my period making everything worse than what it is. I can take the hits.” I gave him a watery smile. “You know that.” Winston shook his head.
“it’s not just your period. This is big shit being turned on you. And hell I’m tired of people twisting your words and you getting in trouble for it. I listened to that call. You defended me and sure you got a little flustered and frustrated but don’t we all when our partners are involved. You did nothing wrong. And she wants to send you to customer service training on devtechs dime. It’s not worth your mental health (Y/N).” Winston cupped my cheeks and leaned his forehead against mine.
“win…” I whispered.
“no. Let me finish.” He said, eyes shining. “This keeping your cool bullshit is something she needs to work on. Not you. She needs to look into what harassment is because it’s on Ben accusing you of shit you didn’t do or say. It’s him misconstruing what you said. That’s on him. Not you. And I’m tired of coming home to my partner upset by something some idiots at my company said or did. Enough is enough. Take Evelyn’s old job. No one else deserves it more than you and no one else can do better than you to fix the reputation of the company.”
“win, I don’t know anything about tech development.” I said, curling my fingers around his wrists.
“that’s what think tanks are for. Or just throwing things at the wall and hoping they stick.” Winston laughed. “But hey you can work a camera right? That’s what I need right now. Thought supersuit cameras back in action and helping elastagirl and Mr. Incredible show the world that supers deserve the positive attention they’re getting.”
“we could always bring back that idea you had.” I suggested sheepishly.
“which one?” Winston asked. “I have so many it’s hard to keep up.” I laughed. Winston smiled at the sound, even if it was shaky.
“supewatch.” I said, a small smile growing on my face. “The twenty four hour super channel. Old interviews. New ones. Footage both old and new. Maybe mix some live coverage in there. Show them in the positive light they need for the law to be officially changed.” Winston smiled at me before pressing a soft kiss to my lips.
“that is exactly the kind of thinking I need on this.” He whispered. “That mean you’ll take the job?”
“yeah.” I smiled at him. “I’ll take the job.” Winston kissed me again.
“good. Now, I’m going to order us some food, grab you the heating pad and we’re going to discuss more of this idea of ours.” Winston tapped my nose before getting off the couch.
warnings: threats, swearing, Saul is panicking, age gap, drinking, mention of sex
"Wait wait. What?" I asked, staring at Saul in shock. "Walter White?" Saul nodded, his hands tightening on my shoulders. "The same Walter White that is a chemistry teacher at my school?"
"Yes. That exact same son of a bitch." Saul ran a hand down his face. "Fuck. I told him my real name. This is on me." His eyes widened again as he collapsed on his back. "Crap. I did this." Saul stared at the ceiling as I furrowed my eyebrows at him.
"Who is Heisenberg? Like the uncertainty principle guy?" I asked. Saul looked over at me, his eyes stormy.
"As in the guy making all that blue meth around town." He admitted. "It's the same guy. Walter White. Heisenberg. That sweet old man you work with ain't all peaches and cream sweetheart."
“ok. That’s going to take a moment to wrap my head around.” I stared at the buttons on Saul’s shirt. He watched me carefully. “How did he threaten you? Like an offer you can refuse kind of thing or a there’s a gun trained on them and one wrong move means death.”
“(Y/N) this isn’t funny.” Saul groaned. “But it was more godfather less mission impossible.” He ran a hand down his face. “Which makes no sense! He isn’t even Vito corleone he’s fucking fredo! Even Michael didn’t threaten his consigliere.” I laid down next to Saul and wrapped my arm around him. Saul held my hand over his stomach.
“so what are we going to do?” I asked, leaning my head against his shoulder. Saul sighed and squeezed his eyes tight.
“The smart decision would be get an annulment and have you moved somewhere safe.” I made a noise and Saul chuckled. “I knew you would say that. The other option…we both go up against him. You’ve proven you’re no slouch. Especially if you are putting up with me.” Saul turned his head and kissed my head. “Calling the cops is also an option but…”
“he has to be doing this for his family.” I sighed. “The cancer.” Saul nodded. “So we can’t call the cops on him.”
“as for right now,” Saul sat up and took me with him. “I say we get increasingly drunk, eat a shit ton of pizza and somehow get you officially moved in.” I nodded at him before drawing him in for a kiss.
"We'll figure this out Saul. I promise." I rubbed my thumb over his cheek. Saul held my hand against his cheek before kissing my palm.
"I know." He sighed. "Walter scared me though. Scared the living shit out of me. I won't let anything happen to you. I swear."
"I know you won't." I assured him. "Don't ever doubt that. I trust you." Saul took a deep breath before we helped each other off the floor. Saul went to order the pizza and get the drinks while I headed to the bathroom to move my things in among his. "Oh shit." I muttered as I opened the mirror cabinet. "That is a lot of viagra." I giggled as I piled it together and filled the space in with my assorted bottles and tubes.
"Oh you found it. Good." Saul said, leaning against the doorframe. "I stock piled. Just in case." He winked at me and I let my head fall back as I laughed. Saul smiled, relaxing the longer he knew I was safe.
“I can see that.” I laughed. “And when did you hope to us them?”
“We’re going to get our honeymoon soon. Once school gets out.” He said, coming over and wrapping his arms around me.
“and what about Walter?” I asked as I leaned back against his chest as he propped his chin on my shoulder. I smiled as I reached back and wrapped my arms around his neck.
“Fuck him. He can survive a week cooking in the desert without me there to walk him through it all.” Saul hummed as he buried his face in my neck. He kissed me there as he closed his eyes. “I could stay like this forever.” I nodded as he kissed me again. The doorbell rang and I sighed. “Or not.” He broke away from me and took my hand.
“I’ll grab the drinks and meet you in the living room.” I said, pulling away as I headed towards the kitchen. Saul nodded as he pulled his wallet out of his pocket and went to open the door. I opened the fridge and pulled out two beers. I paused and grabbed a roll of paper towel before heading into the living room. Saul was already sitting on the floor, pizza box open. He looked over at me and smiled. He had a piece in his hands already.
"Good thinking." He said, smiling as I put a piece of paper towel in front of him.
"Yeah well. That's living pay check to pay check will get you." I shrugged.
"Sometimes I forget that teacher don't exactly make that much money." Saul said, the words coming out muffled as he took a bite of his pizza. I nodded. "This must be a massive step up for you. And a culture shock."
"Yes and no." I said, taking a bite of my own slice. "Yes because look at this place Saul. And since your money is now technically my money, as you like to remind me..." I sighed and looked around. "It is weird to know that anything I want I can have at the drop of a piece of plastic." Saul nodded as he reached for his beer. "And no because well..." I laughed as he grabbed another piece of paper towel. "You are the cheapest rich man I know. You didn't even think twice about me handing you paper towels for plates." Saul laughed and looked down at his lap.
"When I first started out, I was working in a law office mail room." He explained. "Even when I worked my way up to a lawyer, I was living in the backrooms of a nail salon." I cocked my head at him.
“Really?” I asked, putting my beer bottle down. Saul nodded.
“I was flat broke.” He shrugged. “My brother cut me off when my parents died. So I only really could afford that. And the only reason I could afford it was because I was doing elder law for the owners mother.” Saul grabbed another slice of pizza.
“Your brother sounds like a piece of work if we’re being honest.” I said, grabbing more pizza. “Kind of glad I don’t have to meet him.”
"Honestly, I'm glad I don't have to introduce you to him." Saul sighed. "The last woman...my last wife...well..." Saul ran a hand down his face and drained his beer. "Chuck hated the fact that I liked her. He told me to let her go if I really loved her. That she deserved much better than me. And I would only hurt her in the long run." Saul leaned back against the couch. "I told him to go to hell. I loved her at the time and wanted to be with her. Chuck never stopped meddling." He stared at the ceiling. "I'm pretty sure that is why we ended up divorced. He was poisoning her with his opinion on what she deserved. And nothing I said could change her mind. Or his." I scooted closer to Saul.
"I'm sorry he was a dick." I whispered, leaning against him. Saul wrapped his arm around me. "And I'm glad he isn't here because if he tried that shit with me, I wouldn't hold back from smacking him one." Saul chuckled.
"I would have loved to see that." Saul leaned over and kissed my head. "Alright. Let's get this show on the road. Where do you want your movies?" He got up and offered me his hand. "I know you took care of the closet already. Saw those boxes when I pulled up." I let him pull me up and looked around.
"Where are your movies? Let's just intermingle." I shrugged. "And anything we have duplicates of, we can sell." Saul nodded and headed over to grab the box with my DVDs. I smiled as I watched him before heading to the kitchen to clean up our dinner and get us another beer.
Warnings: swearing, threats, Saul nearly has a panic attack
I woke up the next morning pleasantly sore with a note from Saul telling me he was filing my name change paperwork on his way into the office. I smiled as the light caught my ring before getting out of bed. Boxes filled with my belongings lined the room. We’d gone to my apartment and cleaned it out once Saul had gotten off the phone. I grabbed something appropriate for work and set about my normal routine. My phone rang as I was getting in my car.
“Morning gorgeous. Sorry I wasn’t there when you woke up.” Saul said when I picked up. “I just wanted to let you know I faxed the paperwork to the school and they should be working on updating your file.”
“Thanks Saul.” I said as I pulled out of his driveway. “I’m thinking when I get back from work, we order take out and work on unpacking my stuff.”
“sounds great.” Saul agreed. “There’s a pizza place down the street. We could have them deliver.” I heard a muffled knock. “I’ll see you tonight. Busy waiting room today.” I laughed as I pulled into the school parking lot. “I love you.”
“I love you too. See you tonight.” I responded before hanging up the phone. I headed in and went to my classroom. “Oh. That’s fast.” I paused outside my door, watching one of the custodians changing my nameplate.
“just got the paperwork. Wasn’t that hard to make a new one honestly.” He shrugged.
“yeah. That’s what marrying a lawyer gets you.” I shrugged. “Thank you.” I headed in and paused in front of the board. Grabbing a marker, I wrote my new name on the board. I bit my lip to stop my smile from growing as I put my hand under the name. “God I can’t believe this is real.” I whispered. There was a knock on the door, making me turn. “Carmen! Hi.”
“I see the name plate is up. And you’re prepping for the students.” She said, smiling. I nodded.
“yeah. That’s uh why I had to take off yesterday. It’s kind of a whirlwind romance.” I laughed.
“as long as he’s good to you. And treats you right.” Carmen said. “I’d hate to have to get involved.” I smiled and shook my head.
“no he’s a good one.” I assured her. “He’s been dealt a shit hand in life too. We’re good for each other.”
“good.” She smiled again. “By the way. New ID badge. You’re going to need it.” She held out the piece of plastic. My smile grew as I took it. I clipped it to my lanyard, handing her my old one.
“thanks. That didn’t even cross my mind.” I said. Carmen nodded before heading for the door.
“oh and (Y/N),” she said. I looked up at her from my laptop. “Congratulations. You deserve something good.” I smiled in thanks before getting my paperwork in order. Kids started filtering in, glancing at the board before murmuring amongst themselves. The process repeated itself three more times before lunch. each group erupted into cheers when they found out I was out I had taken the day off to get married. By the time I entered the staff lounge, my face hurt from smiling so much.
“what’s with the smile?” Walt asked, putting his lunch bag down on the table across from me. He eased himself into the chair and raised an eyebrow at me. “You look the cat that got the canary.”
“yeah well I imagine you looked similar when you got married.” I teased. “Or at least Skylar did.”
“you got married?” Walt asked, a smile teasing his lips. “Wow. Who’s the lucky man?” I shrugged.
“A lawyer.” I purposely remained vague, knowing Saul would be jittery about anyone knowing about us. “He’s very handsome and very funny. Best thing that’s happened to me in a long time.”
“good.” Walt said, eyes darting to the new ID badge I was wearing. “Good. Well congratulations mx. McGill.” I smiled at him as I felt my cheeks heat up.
“thanks.” I murmured. “I’m still getting used to it. The kids saying it is one thing but hearing someone else say it just keeps making it feel more and more real.” Walt smiled at me as we continued our lunch. Walt waved as we headed back to our classrooms. I checked my phone and saw Saul had texted me a heart earlier in the day. I sent him one back before the next wave of kids came in. The day ended quickly and I sighed as Walt knocked on my door.
“ready for summer yet?” He asked. I nodded.
“today was nice. They actually listened and did what I asked. Called it a wedding present.” I laughed. “But I’m still ready for all this to end.” I propped my feet on my desk. “At least Friday is the last day.”
“tell me about it.” Walt sighed, sliding into one of the desks. “Listen I wanted to tell you first before I said anything to anyone else. I’m…considering…leaving. At least until the cancer is more manageable. Or in remission.”
“as much as I’d hate to see you go…” I sighed, running a hand down my face. “Do what you have to Walt. Your health comes first. I’ve always said that.” Walt nodded.
“I know.” He looked out the window. “It’s just going to be hard to give this up.”
“you’ll be back.” I assured him. “I know you Walt. You fight like hell for everything. This isn’t going to be anything different.” Walt nodded.
“so McGill huh?” He asked, nodding at the whiteboard. “An Irishman?”
“yeah. I don’t hold it against him though.” I joked. “He’s a sweetheart really. Almost an exact copy what I always dreamed of.”
“a gomez Addams type.” Walt laughed. I nodded as my cheeks heated up. “Good for you. I’m glad.” I smiled as he got up. “You deserve it (Y/N).” He said. Walt paused in the doorway. He seemed focused on the floor. “You know I met a lawyer not long ago. Said his name was McGill. Wonder if it was the same one.”
“what’d you see a lawyer for Walt?” I asked, looking at him in concern.
“oh just making sure everything is in order. Just in case.” He shrugged. “You can never be too careful. Or prepared.” Walt smiled sadly at me. “Anyway. See you tomorrow.” He said, waving on his way out. Frowning, I locked the finals grade in my drawer and went to lock up my classroom. There was no way Saul had anything to do with Walt’s will. Digging my phone out of my bag, I called Saul.
“hi handsome.” I said when his voicemail kicked in. “I’m on my way home. God that’s weird to say.” I unlocked my car and got in. “Guess I just missed you leaving the office. I’m going to swing by my apartment to make sure we didn’t miss anything and drop off the key. Be home soon. Love you.” Tossing my phone in the cup holder of my car, I pulled out and headed towards my old apartment building. My thoughts raced through my head. Saul would know that I worked with Walt. He told me he looked me up after our first night together. I shook my head. Saul had his business. If he wanted to tell me that was his business. Granted Walt wasn't dangerous like his other clients but Saul wanted to keep me safe from them for a reason. And I respected that. Parking and getting out of the car, I headed up to my apartment. It took hours to painstakingly go through each room to make sure I hadn't left anything behind. I found a few things left in drawers that I either threw away or shoved into a bag that had also been laying around. Nodding to myself as I stood in the living room, I took a final look around. I put my hand on the countertop and took a deep breath. Turning around, I locked the door and headed to the landlord's office.
"(Y/N)." He said, smiling sadly at me. "I'm sorry to see you go but I can't say I'm a little relieved." I smiled at him.
"I know." I said as I handed him the key. "Thanks for everything." He nodded and handed over a check.
"There's your security deposit back. Good luck." He squeezed my hand. I nodded before heading to my car. I tossed the bags into my backseat and got back in my car. I checked my phone and found a voicemail.
"(Y/N), please call me when you get this. I'm going to be home late and need to talk to you." Saul's voice was slightly frantic. "Last minute client and I just...I need to hear your voice. Call me." I immediately called him back but got his voicemail. I hung up and started driving back home. Saul’s car wasn’t in the driveway when I pulled in so I headed into the house with the key he gave me the night before. It was technically the spare key but we were going to deal with that later.
I set about unpacking my things, smiling when I saw Saul had made room for me in the walk in closest already. I bit my lip as I took in his brightly colored suits next to my everyday work clothes. Our normal clothes mixed and our shoes sat perfectly in line with each other. I was about to head into the bathroom when I heard the front door open. Instead I headed to for the front room and smiled as I saw Saul coming up the stairs.
“welcome home honey.” I teased. Saul didn’t smile he just rushed towards me when he saw me standing in the hallway. “Saul? Is everything…oof.” I grunted as he wrapped me up in a hug.
“thank god.” He murmured. His hands roamed over me in a hurry. They weren’t soft like they had been when we were having sex. They were methodically and making sure to pass over every inch of me.
“Saul what’s wrong? I’m fine! Everything is ok!” I tried to calm him down as his breathing picked up. "Saul." I breathed as his grip on me tightened. He buried his face in my neck and started to sink to the floor. I followed him and held him tightly.
"Thank god. Thank god he didn't hurt you." Saul breathed out. I combed my fingers through his hair.
"Who didn't hurt me?" I asked, readjusting so I could take more of Saul's weight. "Saul what is going on?" He pulled back from me, eyes scanning my face. They were wide with fear.
"Walter White threatened to fucking kill you if I stepped out of line." He breathed out. "How the fuck do you know Heisenberg?"
warnings: swearing, age gap relationship, mention of smut
Saul watched me carefully as I adjusted myself on his chest. I cocked my head at him as my smile grew.
"What?" He asked, eyes widening slightly. I leaned up and kissed him softly.
"I love you too." I whispered against his lips. Saul smiled at me as he pulled me closer.
"Thank fuck." He murmured. "To be fair I didn't mean for that to slip out. But I have felt that way for a while. Pretty much since you got my Shining reference at the bar."
"Well it's a good thing I've had a crush on you since those ads started. Every night. 11 o'clock. My late night caller." I laughed. "Kind of hoped I'd run into you one day. Didn't think it would be at a bar where I wouldn't even recognize you." Saul's stomach tensed as my ring made contact with it, my hand splaying out across his ribs. He smiled at me.
"Since the ads started? Damn sweetheart that's a long time." He mused, his eyes falling to the ceiling. "Wow. Where have you been all my life?" I laughed and curled into his chest. "I'm going to go check on the removal of the mirror. Be right back." Saul carefully got out of bed and started searching for his clothes. Smiling, he tossed me his dress shirt before throwing on his undershirt. "I am never going to tire of seeing you in my clothes."
"Good." I whispered, tugging him closer so I could kiss him. "Barn door."
"Barn door?" Saul scoffed. He looked down and chuckled. "Barn door." Saul winked as he zipped his pants back up. I giggled as he left the room, closing the door behind him. I got out of bed and found my pants. I ventured out of the room, carefully retracing our steps to find the front door. Turning around, I found the living room. I headed towards it and ran my fingers along the couch. I smiled at the obvious gold color scheme.
“Holy shit.” I laughed. I ran a hand down my face. “I married Tony Montana.” I shook my head at the various statues around the room.
“greed, for lack of a better word, is good.” Saul leaned against the doorframe. “Want the tour?” He held his hand out to me. I took it with a smile.
“ah so I married Gordon gecko.” I teased as he put his arm over my shoulders. Saul chuckled.
“more like tom Hagen.” He pressed a kiss to my temple. “You found the living room. And you saw the guest room. Kitchen is through here. All the newest technology.” Saul motioned around the room. “And before you ask yes I can cook. Basic shit. More like a steak and fries. Nothing three course or anything.”
“good because I’m not the greatest cook. I once burned rice.” I laughed. Saul nodded.
“ok. Step one in domestic life. I teach you to cook.” Saul laughed. “And maybe we learn to get better together.” I nodded as I leaned into him. “Ok so before we go to the next room…just…promise me you won’t make a joke about exactly how much money I have.” I nodded as I interlaced my fingers with Saul’s. Our rings thudded together and Saul turned his head to hide his smile. We walked into the next room and my jaw dropped.
“a fucking Olympic sized pool?” I cried. Saul nodded, chewing on his bottom lip. “Holy crap! Forget tom Hagen! Previous statement back in play.” Saul laughed as he kissed my cheek.
“I knew I could count on you to not make fun of me.” He teased. “Seriously though. Thoughts?”
“I’m honestly speechless.” I forced out. “Why do you have such a big pool?”
“Well. I mean…” Saul let out a laugh. “Because I can?” I laughed and shook my head at him.
“wow Saul. Wow.” I patted his chest as he led me out of the room. “Ask me not to tease you about your money but then pull that one out.” Saul rolled his eyes as he pushed open the door in front of us. “Oh shit. That’s a bathroom.” I pulled away from Saul and ran my hand over the tub. “This I like. The art…not so much.”
“Remember what I said. You can change anything. A complete remodel if you need to.” Saul said, shoving his hands in his pockets. “Business card is in my Rolodex and they’ve got a tab open for me.” Saul leaned against the wall as I headed towards the shower. He smirked at me. “Only thing in here I’m attached to is the tub. And only because it’s big enough for two. And whatever extra activities they get up to. Have at it.” I raised an eyebrow at Saul and pointed towards the gold toilet. “Uh…no comment.”
“alright then.” I shrugged and shook my head as I looked away. “Any other fun rooms I should know about?” Saul shook his head.
“just the office and library. But I mean those are your basic run of the mill rooms.” I looked at him as I put the Xanax bottle back down.
“Library?” I asked. “We talking beauty and the beast level or is it like a boring ass room with three books and more art?”
“You tell me.” Saul said, taking my hand and leading me down the hall. He covered my eyes before pushing open a door. I felt him move behind me, pressing his chest against my back as he walked me into the room. “Keep your eyes covered. I mean it.” He whispered in my ear as he pulled away. I could hear Saul moving around before it was quiet. “Ok. You can look now.” I slowly let my hands fall down as I took in the room around me.
“holy crap I feel like belle right now.” I murmured as I took in the room. “Saul if you had told me about this on day one we would have been married that night.” Saul chuckled as he watched me.
“there’s a mix of random books I enjoyed over the years and law books. Feel free to read whatever you want. Hell add your own to the collection I don’t care.” I spun around and pointed at Saul.
“we do not change this room.” I said, voice and face serious. Saul smiled at me.
“understood.” He agreed, eyes shining as he watched me run around the room taking everything in. “Alright come. We got a couple more rooms to look at. You can come back here anytime you want.” Saul laughed as he came over and wrapped his arm around me. I looked over my shoulder as we left the room. I pouted as Saul chuckled. “I should have known better than to show an English teacher the library before ending the tour.”
“Yeah you should have known better.” I agreed. “That should have been last.” Saul paused, tilting my head towards him so he could kiss me. I smiled against his lips as he pulled me tight against him.
“I should have. But your reaction was worth it.” He murmured. He kissed me again before turning us towards another room. “Theater. Because having a tv in every room to begin with is just boring.”
“Ok two rooms we don’t touch.” I said, looking around me in awe. “Although painting it a different color than gold may be on the docket.” Saul smirked.
“deal.” He agreed. He pushed open another door and ushered me in. “And finally…my office.”
“ok.” I mused as I looked around. “Honestly Saul compared to the other rooms in this house your office is downright boring.” Saul shrugged as he went to sit down in his office chair.
“yeah well I didn’t need any extra distractions when I brought work home with me.” He shrugged. The phone started ringing and Saul looked at me apologetically. “Feel free to go back to the library or wander around. Start making plans. I probably have to take this.” He gave me a soft kiss before picking up the phone. I nodded as i headed down the hall to start planning our renovations.
