i’ve gotten into a bad little “America’s Next Psychotic Narcissist” loop.
Just watching old videos. Please universe, don’t ever make me choose between P!nk and Xtina. Also, Lil Kim is hilarious. why isn’t she on a gritty HBO sitcom about hookers or something?
You can watch the full MTM episode here. It’s a great one guest starring Mackenzie Phillips as the title delinquent.

Bitch, I’m Trying Too Hard
I just watched Bitch, I’m Madonna starring Madge, Rita Ora, Miley Cyrus, Beyonce, Kanye, Katy Perry... I do love Madonna, and there’s nothing really wrong with this video, except that it kept making me cringe. Although I do reserve the right to have mermaid-hair at some point in the future, a woman in her 50s trying to convince you that she’s just like all the other pop stars makes me sad.
It’s nice to be older and past all of that, isn’t it? It’s fun to smile knowingly at all the youngsters staying up late and getting all sweaty and pukey and tired while I watch a little Masterpiece Theater before my requisite 9-hours sleep.
Most importantly, how are young people supposed to look forward to their future if older people seem desperate to be like them. It’s reminding me of a great Mary Tyler Moore Show episode where Mary and Sue Ann both become Big Sisters to troubled girls. The episode ends with Ted saying, “The more confused and immature a person is the easier she’s influenced by someone else.” Enter Sue Ann and her Little Sister.
I decided to start this blog after watching Judge Judy trick someone into doing the right thing morally when she couldn't make him do it legally. I want a place to remind myself of things like that.
