They’d made camp for the night. Athena knew the creature was nearby and the only thing left to do was to lure it out. It wasn’t too hard a task, so it could wait until morning. Athena read her map my the firelight as Hephaestus tinkered away at his work. She found the noise a little distracting, so she decided to put an end to it.

"Hephaestus," She said his name loudly to catch his attention over the noise. "Hephaestus," Athena said a bit more sharply. That got his attention.

Athena’s gaze returned to her map. “Why do you think our abilities are split?” She asked. It was something she wondered a lot. “I mean, Ares and I have similar abilities, but aside from that it’s an entire spectrum with Zeus’s children. Why is that so?”
