8 years ago my life changed forever, I saw my first POTC movie and fell in love with it’s main character. Johnny Depp has been my inspiration and the reason I am able to be who I want to be. He’s shown me that strength and courage come from the inside and that I should say fuck it to social expectations. One of my favorite things he’s ever said was “I was always fascinated by people who are considered completely normal, because I find them the weirdest of all” and he’s absolutely right. We’re all made to be different people and the fact that so many try to mold to a social stereotype is disheartening, we need to stop looking at the “more beautiful” men and women in envy and start treating ourselves like human beings. I’ll always stand by his side through all the lies and hate because this man saved my life and I couldn’t ever thank him enough.
