Binged watch the entirety of ribbon no kishi in jp dub, it was pretty fun. Apparently, there's actually 150 more epsisodes that didn't make it to air or have an eng dub overseas(???) like a season 2? ? I have to scrape and scavenge online traces of it, And I finally did, albeit the subs fantranslations are pretty mid. The story itself went offrails too, doesn't follow sapphire anymore ugh, and seriously who the hell is this???

I only know little of this mouseboy so ill pretend he used to be an actor but quitted in his late 20s, and used to be the bad guy villain actor the showa star system kids looked up to. And an older mentor-ish??? But Shunsaku fits that role way better!

Sadly there's no good official eng translation of chief detective kenichi/ken1 with complete pages and to my knowledge from a friend this actor appears way later.

Depending on how you look at it, this work could be seen as a collaboration between Rock and Kenichi.

read the third issue of Osamu Tezuka's Akashiya Shobo Masterpieces series of "secret order No. 3."

The goodness of Tezuka stars in the spread.

Secret order No. 3 is a story of friendship between sons who are good friends as opposed to the war between their parents.

It is very interesting to see Kenichi Shikishima and Rock(Or Dr. Thrill's Kenta) in this work.

The characters' names "Sarusawa"(猿沢) and "Inuoka"(犬岡) come from the Japanese proverb "kenen no naka"(犬猿の仲) (meaning two people who get along badly, like a dog and a monkey), and you will understand this meaning if you read the story to the end.

Most Japanese tzk fans recognize Prince Black in the Twin Knights as Mouse Boy. The works in which he appears that seem to be well-known in English-speaking fans are probably "The Adventure of Rock" or "Dr. Thrill" (I don't know if these have been published in English)

But his wavy bangs may not be his identity as a star system character. If so, I think Astro Boy is the easiest to read among his appearances. Dr. Tozawa (Crucifix Island) and Sherlock Homspun (Artificial Sun) have sharp eyes and are said by his fans to be played by Mouse Boy. Both have straight bangs, but the former creates a transforming robot out of a yearning for transformation, and the latter disguises himself as another person by extending and retracting his cyborgized legs.
