Honestly, when you realise both Spamton and Tenna might just be stuck in the Anger stage of grief then a lot of things start to make sense. They're refused to accept the fact they lost something special so they're unable to move from it.
yeah, exactly...
They don't actually hate each other. It's just their way to cope with the fact they lost someone dear to them. They just can't move on because of how much they meant to each other and how ABRUPT the ending of their relationship was. "How could he just run away?!" and "everything is his fault!" both are manifestations of grief and they're stuck in that... Especially because, again, it was so abrupt.
I think Tenna is especially angry because he feels like this could have been able to be avoided. Spamton could have never run away, they could've been able to be big TOGETHER if Spamton JUST let him HELP. He channels all his anger at Spamton because he suddenly left and never came back. He irrationally blames it on Spamton. You can especially see this when he complains about how Spamton never taught him how to use technology. Everything going wrong in chapter 3 is HIS fault for being GONE and never having taught him how to use technology
Tbh I think Spamton's anger is just a giant expression of his feelings of abandonment and heartbreak from Tenna never having come to help him in a time of need. He is never upset about having to sign the contract; he is only ever upset about abandonment. He is angry at all the abandonment he has experienced, and he can't express his hurt any other way. All his anger seems like a trauma response...
And to be honest, I think in the ch5 cutscene shown in the winter newsletter, Tenna is starting move from the anger phase. He is so less visibly angry and just more sad instead. I think its wonderfully shown in the Japanese version. Instead of calling Spamton "aitsu", a very rude third person pronoun one uses for people you don't like, he uses "kare". Thats a very neutral third person pronoun; basically just the equivalent of "he" in English.
"KARE wa sain chaikenaito. sain dekinaito." (TL: He shouldn't sign. He can't sign.)
Like. Tenna. Used aitsu. For the entirety of Ch3. This is the first time he refers to Spamton in third person with ANYTHING else. This is very significant. I think he is starting to be in the depression phase instead
RE: Feature presentation (with Pipi + behind the scene)
death would be a blessing :)
Pipi Boss fight concept + dialogue sprites
If you find it, then a bossfight will happen. Her body is controlled by A FRIEND. There are two ways to win — Pull a FRIEND out of her head by the tail or inflict damage.
In the first case, Pipi will be in Castletown. She will play with Lancer in his room and dig holes.
In the second one, you cut the flap off her envelope. The FRIEND doesn't want her dead, so he leaves on his own. After the chapter, she will be in Castletown, but she will avoid contact with you in every possible way by hiding. Lancer will mention that Pipi is afraid of you.
More about items! Depending on the item equipped on fun gang, the Tenna will either increase its damage or decrease the speed of attacks to make it easier to dodge them. In the case of the envelope flap, it increases the damage, but the blows to it become stronger.
If she's not found in Room Z before the end of the chapter, she'll disappear. If Tenna ends up in Castletown, he'll mention that he can't find her anywhere.
«She might be wandering around. Mike CAN'T find her! I'm feeling very uneasy! If you find her, please let me know...»
If you're interested in knowing more about her, let me know, I appreciate the feedback!!
