Over the course of your life, you've noticed how dumb humans could be, but you didn't think society would just screw itself so much. Just when you thought you had the rest of your life figured out! After the nuclear war, a mutated disease spread quickly through the survivors, which stopped humanity from healing. The sky is permanently covered by a thick radioactive cloud and the few humans left gather in closed settlements. It's incredibly rare to come across anyone, really, except for the wildlife who, despite the radiation, are not targetted by the disease.

Truly, it is tough being a vampire in a zombie apocalypse.

Human Vox's timeline doesn't seem to work.

The first live in-person weather broadcasts were in the late 1940s and mostly in the 1950s.

Vincent looked like he was in his thirties at the beginning of Brighter and in his fifties before he died.

Bro lived in the 50s for twenty years, lol.

I'm so glad I'm not the only one who noticed this

I always tweak the timelines when I'm thinking/writing about Vox. As a history nerd, the severe lack of timeline matchup bothers me to no end in hazbin

I always have him be an adult by the time ww2 rolls around, then have him trained as an officer. He hits his 30s in 1945-1948 and lives until the 1960s and dies in his late 40s/early 50s. Boom, timeline tweaked just enough for plausability

I noticed as well when I started a murdermedia fic. my solution is to throw away the timeline, lol. Vox becomes a talk show host (first tv talk show happened in 1947) before ww2 (1939-1945). Plausability be damned, my story's timeline is more important than the world's ToT .
