Deer guy is named Callaghan, Ram guy doesnt have a name yet but Im thinking Beau cuz Ive always wanted to use that name and just couldnt come up with a good oc! So Ram guy might be called Beau.
Neither of these guys are good people, I should just state that. Yeah Callaghan is depressed(with some other bs thrown in there), was abused when he was younger, Beau grew up in an unstable household and was witness to plenty of abuse himself, but neither of these guys deserve your pity outside of who they couldve been, had circumstances been different and they had intervention and help.
The rough plan in mind for them is that Callaghan had plans in mind to off himself, but the thought of going out alone was too scary for him. Grew up lonely and now hes gonna die lonely? Major bummer, hes not a fan of that. It doesnt matter who he takes with him, just someone cute enough to spend the night with before he murders them and then takes his own life. Beau wasnt actually Callaghan’s first choice; too short, too young, too everything that Callaghan doesnt want in a man. But damn if Beau wasnt persistent, annoyingly so to the point where Callaghan gave in and planned to just kill him.
Funny thing is, Beau was also on the prowl for someone to nab, and Callaghan was just oozing with crippling loneliness and the need for companionship, it endeared Beau in a way how Callaghan tried to not come off so pathetically desperate for someone to go home with him. Beau made up his mind and decided to save Callaghan from his lonely life, and thats how Beau and Callaghan ended up together!
Callaghan being in his underwear is very important to the story, its to make sure he cant run all that much through the snow and forest. Beau is also a pervert for older guys but who isnt, Cal being butt naked is vital to the plot. Trust.
Started teaching part time this year and wanted to do a short piece of animation I could use for a Toon Boom lecture. Didn't need to go this far with it, but I've been meaning to animate Garrus for years now and was having fun.
(If you notice any popping or errors shhh no you didn't I did most of this in like 10 hours ok)
the background was a last-minute addition so if that and the lighting, the rendering, the lineart, and the anatomy looks weird.... it's the background's fault
