Hesitantly, he started poking through the cabinets. He didnāt know if Mrs. Potts even kept the spices heād need on hand. He found the cupboard with all the spices and started digging through it. So many of them were foreign to him, but he recognized a few of them.
He sighed when Lea said that.Ā āItās your decision, Master,ā he said.Ā āIāll do whatever you command.ā He was between a rock and a hard place really. Either he disobeyed an order or he made a mess. Either way Ansem would have him beaten.
Ā Ā Ā āFine, fine.ā Lea would hate to see Saix get hurt just because he actually wanted to do something for once. Itās a hard knock life for them in their own ways.Ā āLetās go find Mrs. Potts instead. She canāt be sleeping-- itās too late in the day for that.āĀ
Ā Ā Lea went around the kitchen and placed everything back where it went and closed up the cabinets (except the one Saix was looking in). He was almost proud of himself for how clean he left the room.
Ā Ā He went on to search the palace for Mrs. Potts or any of the cooking staff. Perhaps they were at some little meeting or something. There could be an event coming up theyāre planning for that Lea didnāt know about. Some slaves were about here and there, cleaning as is their duty.
