I'm not personally invested in SasuKarin, but I legit really like the Akari character we all created for Shinachiku Kosen. What secrets does she hold? Time will tell!

I really like the design we went with with her. Something about the bright red hair and dark eyes is so cool. Also the hair half up and half down, it just suits her so much? Lastly, her clothes also resemble our version of Sasuke.

Who else should I doodle? Maybe not tonight, but tomorrow? You know, I'm itching to doodle Inoki actually. I love him too.

Sorry but could you explain where did Hanami name came from? I always had a bit of problem with that name because it's almost identical to Hanabi Hyuga, Hinata's sister. Personally, whenever I was imagining NaruSaku kids in my head my favorite fan name for a daughter with pink hair and blue eyes was always "Haruna" (I thought it'd be a lovely gesture from Naruto to name daughter after Sakura's maiden name). What do you think?

Also Haruna sounds interesting. Sounds like Haruka from Sailor Moon, haha. Love it. 👀

It bothers me that people are bothered by the Hanabi and Hanami thing.

Hanabi in Japanese means fireworks.

Hanami is a Japanese tradition of watching the sakura petals in the spring and usually involves picnics and family outings. That is why this popular art/gif exists, it's literally her namesake.

The two names are not related. NaruSaku fans did not look at Hanabi's name like "We like that, let's change a letter!" like a lot of people seem to imply over the years. Hanabi was not part of the equation when deciding her name. It's not why Hanami became the popular name for the NaruSaku daughter.

Hanami is directly related to Sakura, her mother's name.

It's like saying grape and grope must be the same word because the difference is only by one letter. Languages doesn't always work like that.

However, Haruno and Haruna are similar by meaning. As one is spring field the other is spring flower. So Uzumaki Haruno Haruna might sound a bit more a unusual.
