WAIT WAIT WAIT okay so I was watching the old beta KH1 trailer to get this shot, just good to have on hand considering.

But then as it ended and Sora locked the screen-facing keyhole, I realized that the sound it makes is the exact same sound as the recent KH4 trailer. No seriously, it's the same echoey gunshot-like door shutting sound (I timestamped both videos).

And I compared with a couple other trailers, it's only here. Now I'm not saying Sora gets shot, but I do think that since Nomura considers KH4 a sort of soft reboot of the series and is purposefully pulling from old KH1 concepts, there is some sort of meaning to it. Putting a keyhole-locking sound in a KH trailer isn't odd, but what is odd is that it's this sound.
