“DIY mani using Butter London Nail Foundation base coat, Essie’s All Lacquered Up, Sally Hansen’s Hard As Nails Xtreme Wear Black Out, and Butter London P.D. Quick Top Coat.

Homemade (-ish) burger is a Lick’s Nature Burger patty with a layered dip as topping - layers include refried beans with taco seasoning, guacamole, sour cream, salsa, cheddar cheese, tomatoes, and fresh cilantro - 10/10!”

this was not only a delicious burger, but an all around great day - holiday monday, boyfriend’s birthday, and the day i found out i’d get my beautiful pug Taco!

“More Meat-free Monday!

My girl Adj and I enjoying some veggie burgers a few weeks back - can’t totally remember the colours we used but have an idea!

I gave Adj a subtle ombré - likely with Essie’s Tart Deco and All Lacquered Up. On her ring finger is a puffy poop sticker from Koreatown, her thumb is an old green in a square bottle from Urban Outfitters circa 2008.

On mine, Quo by Orly French White under L.A. Girl Flare Hyper and Sephora by OPI Only Gold For Me on the tips. Both of us topped with Butter London P.D. Quick Top Coat.

Burgers made at my place are black bean veggie patties so we went southwest with the toppings - cheddar, tomato, sautéed onions, salsa, guacamole, and Cool Ranch Doritos - 10/10!”

“Nails are DIY - Revlon Calcium Gel Nail Hardener, Butter London Nail Foundation Base Coat, Essie’s Navigate Her, and Butter London P.D. Quick Top Coat.

Burger was a Harvey’s in Port Hope along the 401 - veggie patty with lettuce, tomato and onion rings. Burger was 8/10 because I was both starving and on my way to Ottawa to pick up my brand new rescue pug!!!”

“Burger is from The Lakeview in Toronto, a cross between the Standard and the Parkdale - lettuce, tomato, red onion, and coriander pesto with a soy veggie patty, with a side of sweet potato fries. 7/10 - this burger longs for melted cheese and maybe an onion ring (but the fries were a 10/10 as always).

Nails are inspired by The Beauty Department, with Quo by Orly French White as a base, and L.A. Girl Flare in Hyper, OPI Do You Lilac It and American Apparel Malibu Green accents. Topped with two coats of Seche Vite.”

“Burger is semi-homemade Yves Garden Patty veggie burger with lactose-free cheddar, sauteed onions, a few Cool Ranch Doritos (seriously, the best addition), hot salsa and a spicy black bean spread on a gluten-free bun.  7/10 because it needed guacamole, and because lactose- and gluten-free is the pits.

Nails are DIY Revlon Calcium Gel Nail Hardener base coat, three coats of Essie’s A Crewed Interest.  Accent nails on ring fingers and thumbs are OPI’s Up Front & Personal and black striper. Seche Vite top coat.”

I think Doritos on a burger is a great idea, and actually can’t believe I haven’t tried that yet. Soon though, the perfect bbq season idea!
