[ You wake up in the morning and your alarm is ringing… You slept through 3 of your alarms! It’s now 9:45 am. Luckily you’re not late, but if you don’t get up now you’ll end up being late. You start getting ready. Today you feel a little bit more cheerful than usual since you’ll be able to see to Choso later on today. You finish getting ready and head out to school around 10:30 am. ]
[ Timeskip: 12:15 the middle of class. ]
[ You were sitting in class and you got a message from Choso. ]
Choso: Hey, is it possible if I could you see you sooner? Something came up.
You: Yeah, I get out of school in a hour in a half… would that work?
Choso: Yea that’s fine. Sorry to switch up plans on you. I’ll explain later.
You: It’s alright and okay.
[ Timeskip: 1:50 at the end of your class.]
[ You’re packing up your stuff and you decide to text Choso before you leave out of the school. ]
You: Hey, I just got out of class. Where do you want to meet up at?
Choso: I’m already parked outside of your school. I’m in the black Nissan.
You: Oh I didn’t expect you to be here… onmw rn.
[ You put on your bag and leave out of your class. You stop by the bathroom for a second to freshen up a little then you make your way out of the school. Choso’s car is parked directly outside of the school entrance and he’s standing outside of his car talking to Yuji. You walk up to them… ]
As you walk up you greet them and say, “Heyyy!”
[ You side hug Yuji. ]
“Hi Y/n!”, Yuji replies hugging you back.
“Wsp Y/n”, he replies aswell.
[ You side hug Choso and he hugs you back. ]
“What are we talking about?,” you ask them.
They both reply at the same time, “Nothing..!”
“Mhm… okay,” you respond to them.
Yuji says abruptly, “I gotta go now see you Y/n!”
“See you I guess?..,” you respond.
[ Yuji walks away suspicious asf, but you decide ignore it. You turn your head to look back at Choso and he’s already looking at you. ]
“Soo… what were y’all talking about?,” you ask Choso.
“Nothing important… c’mon,” he says as he opens your side of the car door.
“Okay…,” you mutter as you get in.
[ He shuts the door and makes his way to his side of the car. His car is clean, it smells nice despite the slight smell of weed. You can’t help but wonder what they were talking about and why were they trying to hide it so badly. He finally gets in and shuts his door. He starts driving… ]
"I'm about to go drive to the park then I'll roll up."
"Alright."
[ Not even 3 minutes later, he finally stops driving and parks in a small parking lot. He starts rolling up. ]
[ After he finishes rolling up he takes a couple hits before handing the blunt to you. ]
"Here.”
"I'm not gonna lie to you... i never smoked or did any edibles in any way shape or form"
"I know, Yuji told me.”
"Wait... he a opp for real."
"Here just try to inhale," he says holding the blunt to your mouth.
[ You attempt to inhale and the smoke escapes your mouth, thinner than it came in.]
"See you did it.”
"I didn't think it would work omg."
[ You take it from out of his hands and try to smoke it yourself, but you end up nearly choking. ]
"Damn, I guess I got ahead of myself."
"It's all good I wasn't that good myself when I started."
"You never told me why you had to come early.”
"Oh right, I work nightshift tonight. I forgot about it until I checked my calendar. Sorry that I had to reschedule so soon."
"It's all good I understand.”
"Since our time was cut short, I can make some plans to hang out soon if you want."
"That would be nice."
[ For a little while more, you both smoked together and caught up with each other’s lives. Within said time your high kicked in and your stomach started hurting. ]
"My stomach hurts," you complain to him.
"You ate today?"
You respond, "Nope."
"That's probably why... let’s go get some food. What do you wanna eat?,” he asks you.
[ You. But, you’d never tell Choso the reality of your infatuation. ]
“I don’t know; it doesn’t really matter to me,” you say to him shrugging your shoulders.
“Okay. I know a place you might like,” he proposes.
“Alright, take me.”
“Also, I forgot to give you this… here,” he says, handing you a small holographic bag.
You take it and ask, “I forgot about this… how much do I owe you?”
“Don’t worry about it. Remember I told you that I had a discount for you.”
“I don’t know… I was thinking that I would still have to pay something.”
“Alright… give me $100,” he says in a joking manner.
“No wait I never said I wouldn’t accept the discount.”
[ The car makes a complete stop and suddenly you realize you’re outside of the restaurant. You’re unfamiliar with the scenery, but it was a decently decorated place. The building was a dark grey. The place looked unique, especially the dim lighting that you could see through the window. Your eyes were glued on the building. Choso glances over at you for a long second. He opens the door to the drivers side, before rounding the car and opening your door. You both make your way into the restaurant. He orders and pays for the both of you. ]
“Thank you!”
“It’s no problem. If you don’t feel like waiting in here, you could sit in the car while I wait for the food,” he suggests.
“It’s okay, I don’t mind waiting with you.”
[ Your words made him smile bit. Everything seemed to be going pretty well until ‘something’ interrupted. ]
You hear a voice call out to you saying, “Yoo Y/n!”
[ You turn around to see Naoya walking toward You and Megumi. ]
“Don’t piss me off.”
“Y/n you know him?”
“Yeah… I met him at Yuji’s party and he’s been bothering me ever since,” you try to explain.
“At Yujis party? How did you even get in?,” Choso asks Naoya sternly.
“I snuck in. How do you know my girlfriend?,” Naoya trying to intimidate him.
“Bitch I am not your girlfriend,” you argue.
Naoya steps toward you, “Yes you are. I don’t know why you won’t accept it… and why the fuck are you with him?”
“Cause she’s my girlfriend now what?,” he says turning toward Naoya.
“…Whatever y’all are a ugly couple anyways,” Naoya says before walking out.
[ After what felt like a million years, you get the courage to speak to him. ]
“Thank you...,” you say to him awkwardly.
“You don’t have to worry about it. I already told you that… remember? ” Choso says in a soft tone.
[ You can’t but replay the moment continually in your head. Did he really say that you were his girlfriend? Could you ever be his? These questions spun throughout your head making you blush a little. You decide to play it cool and scroll on your phone a little, but you ended up glancing up for a second and noticed he was staring at you. His gaze on you felt heavy and it was almost as if he was admiring you. Before you were able to react your food is called out. Choso grabs the food and you both make your way back to the car. ]
“Alright, let’s eat now.”

[ You both eat and smoke for a little while more. A lot of time went by and it didn’t click until you heard… ]
“Imma take you home now. It’s getting late and I have to work late”
“Wait… what time is it.”
“It’s 4:45.”
“Time passed by so fast… wtf.”
“It’s alright, we can see each other again soon.”
You smile at him and say, “okay I guess I’ll be fine.”
[ He takes the car out of park and begins to drive you home. ]
“Wait… you go to work high?”
“Yeah, I don’t really work around people.”
“Oh, okay.”
…
“Do you feel okay? I know this is your first time getting high.”
“I’m okay... everything feels a bit weird though.”
“Okay, if you need anything or if anything happens call me. My job’s not too far away from your house and I don’t mind using my break if you need me.”
“Okay, thank you.”
“No problem.”
[ Around 5 minutes later, the car stops and you’re outside of your house. He opens his door, before making his way around the car and opens your door. You get out of the car… ]
“Thank you,” you say to him hugging him.
[ He hugs you back and you pull away to see him blushing a little..? ]
“Text me whenever.”
“Okay, see you soon.”

[ You get in the house and immediately text the gc with Yuji and Nobara. ]
You: “I think Choso was kinda flirting with me today… I seen him today and we smoked together.”
Yuji: “Maybe he’s been wanting you for the longest…”
You: “Huh??”
Nobara: “I love you Y/n, but you are blind asf.”
You: “I’m going to sleep ”
[ You spend the rest of your time lying in bed trying to recall any signs that he liked you in the past. You do remember that he used to be a little extra nice to you, but you never thought much of it. Before you knew it, you fell asleep. ]
[ You wake up feeling confused. Your head hurts and your stomach is turning. The memories from yesterday night are faded, but the only thing that you remember is your encounter with him. Immediately you scramble through your belongings trying to find the piece of paper he gave you but you can’t find it. There’s one place that you didn’t look at… inside of your phone case. You pick up your phone and take off your phone case there you see a crumbled piece of paper. You let out a sigh of relief and put your phone case back on. You check your phone to see that it’s 2pm and you have 10+ notifications unread. ]

[ You open the notification and see 5 texts from Nobara, 3 missed calls from Nobara, 2 texts from Yuji, 1 missed call from an unknown number, a text from the same unknown number, and your 9am alarm ringing. ]

You: Hey, who is this?
Unknown: You forgot about me already bae?
You: Who is this???
Unknown: So you just gonna kiss me at a party and then act like youn know me?
You: I don’t even remember you bro. Never knew your name and tbh idgaf.

[ You were about to text Yuji back but you felt like you were gonna throw up so you ran to the bathroom. You start throwing up a little and you’re laying on the bathroom floor. You decide to text Yuji. ]
You: Yuji bro I don’t feel so good nm. I just threw up…
Yuji: I’m ordering you some stuff rn. Do you need me to come over?
You: If you can but I need you to unlock the door yourself I don’t think I’ll walk far without throwing up .
[ You blacked out after texting him. 2 hours later you wake up in your bed and Yuji is nodding off beside you. You tap Yuji to wake him up. ]
“Thanks for staying. I’m gonna cry you’re so nice”, you thank Yuji.
Yuji responds, “Np y/n.”
“I feel better now so you don’t have to feel bad about leaving”, You tell Yuji.
“No it’s okay I’ll be fine staying here with you. Besides I wanna talk to you about my brother!!”, Yuji responds.
“Yuji no” You say.
Yuji whines, “I wanna knowwww.”
“There’s nothing to know. I’ve been liked him since I was younger and now I wanna shoot my shot. I’m just gonna have to learn how to smoke… that’s all there is to know”, You tell Yuji.
“I don’t think there’s much learning to smoking, but let’s go somewhere soon! Nobara should come too. Maybe you’d be able to figure something out”, Yuji says cheerfully.
“Okay”, You answer Yuji.
[ Yuji lays on your bed beside you (in a friendly way dw). You turn your TV on and eventually you both fall asleep. ]
[ Timeskip : Next day morning time. ]
[ You’re in your bathroom getting ready for the day. Yuji left a little earlier and went back to his place. Yuji told you that he wanted to meet up with you and Nobara later on today. ]
[ Your finished getting ready and you decide that you wanna post yourself on instagram. So you do! ]
[ You don’t have much else to do so you make yourself some food and do the rest of your homeowork. ]
[ Timeskip : Same day around 5pm. ]
[ You get put in a group chat with Yuji and Nobara. The plan that becomes established is a little get together. You have school tomorrow so you don’t plan to overdue anything. You’ll be over Nobara’s place for a little while and luckily it’s not too far from your house. You fix yourself up a little and start driving to her house. You and Yuji get to Nobara’s house at the same time. Both of you walk in and get settled while Nobara some the stuff. ]
“I’m so happy we are having a sleepover! How’s everyone been doing?” Nobara exclaims while walking in with some food.
“Good!”, Yuji replies.
“Pretty good!!”, You reply.
[ Nobara sets the food down and everyone starts eating. ]
Nobara says, “Y’all know we’re not here to eat… y/n let’s talk about your lil situation!”
“My situation is not progressing guys. I haven’t talked to him for 2 days”, you tell both of them.
“That can change,” Yuji says pulling out a nic.
“Let’s pass it around and figure it out”, Yuji adds.
[ Yall pass around the nic 2 times before discussing everything. You just so happened to open your instagram to check your notifications. You got a lot of likes on your story. You see a couple of people replying to your story, but the only ones you found interesting was Choso following you and liking your story. ]
“Lookkk”, you excited show them.
[ You turn your phone to them to show Choso in your followers. ]
“He want thattt oh shit!!!”, Nobara squeals.
“He tryna flirt with you. You gotta do it back”, Yuji tells you.
“Okay… I will”, you respond.
[ You grab your phone and like one of Choso’s highlights. ]
“Ayeee you’re finally being bold!”, Nobara congratulates you.
“Wait I’m kinda scared… Imma unlike it”, you tell her.
“Please don’t. I know my brother and I think it’ll be fine. Besides I think you might have a chance with him”, Yuji says to you.
“Ok if you say so… hand me the nic now”, you tell him.
[ Yuji passes it around a couple of times. You start to feel lightheaded. Y’all hang out for about 2 hours before you go home. Nobara ended up getting you a uber home. Once you get home you take it upon yourself to take out that paper from the back of your phone case and you contact Choso. ]
You: “Heyy, this is y/n. I wanted to buy some edibles off of you.”
Choso: “Heyy, alr. What mg packages do you want?”
You: “Uhh maybe 200?”
Choso: “Damn your tolerance that high ?”
You: “Uh yeah…”

[ You end your day with a smile on your face. You can’t wait to link with Choso tomorrow. You remember that you have school tomorrow so you decide to head to bed. ]
[ Currently it’s what you believed to be a random Tuesday at 12pm. You’re having lunch at your favorite restaurant and all of a sudden you get a notification on your phone… ]
Unknown: “Hey, is this y/n?”
You: “Yes… who are you?”
Unknown: “This is Yuji! We go to the same school.”
You: “Ohh 🤦♀️, wsp Yuji?”
Yuji: “I was wondering if you wanted to come to my party? It’s this Friday at 8pm.”
[ You just finished your last class and your heading home. You have intentions of taking a nap then waking up and getting ready for the party. ]
[ At home you hoped to get a few hours of rest, but you ended up getting 1 hour of sleep. It seemed as if many random tasks were able to get in your way. At last… you wake up at 6pm and start getting ready for the party. You get in the shower, put on some nice clothes, and do some light makeup. At this point it’s 7:20pm and the party is around 25 minutes away so you make sure you have everything and begin driving to the party. It feels like the closer you get to your destination your stomach hurts more and more. You finally arrive at the party at 7:50pm. You hear the music from outside of the house and there’s many cars parked on the street. Although you are scared, you manage to pull yourself together and you head towards the door and ring the doorbell. Someone opens door who turns out to be your friend, Nobara. ]
“Heyy Nobara, I haven’t seen you in forever!”, you exclaim as you step into the house.
“Heyy y/n!”, Nobara replies shutting the door behind you.
“So… what’s your plans for tonight?”, Nobara asks looking at you with that one look.
“What do you mean?”, you confusedly reply.
“Like are you trying to find you a boo, smoke some weed, get drunk, or something?”, she asks shrugging her shoulders smirking.
“I mean… I don’t really have any plans for tonight. I’m just gonna let the day play out however it goes”, you respond awkwardly.
“Don’t be afraid to have fun! You know I’ll be here to support you y/n” Nobara says in a reassuring tone.
“Yes, of course” you reply.
[ All of a sudden you feel someone tap you on your back. You turn your head to see Yuji smiling. ]
“Hey y/n and Nobara! Nice to see that you guys made it”, Yuji says in his usual cheerful tone.
You both reply, “Hey Yuji!”
“Are you guys busy? We were gonna play some games downstairs if you want to join.”, Yuji asks.
“What type of games?”, you ask Yuji.
“Follow me and you’ll figure out”, He says slyly.
[ You look back at Nobara to see if she wanted to go and she nods her head. ]
“Okay I guess”, you agree.
[ You and Nobara follow Yuji to his basement. His basement has a big couch, small tv, fluffy rug, and a small kitchen. On the couch you see a group of unique individuals who catch your interest. You greet them and start playing party games with them. You played these games without knowing that these games involved taking shots. It started off with 3 shots to start the game and this was the only game you can remember before your memory slurred. This game was Truth or Dare. A couple people played before it was your turn. It was now your turn. ]
Some unknown person asks you, “Truth or Dare?”
{ In your thoughts } : I guess I’ll play safe for my first turn.
You reply, “Truth.”
They ask you, “Is it true that you’re single?”
You reply, “Yes.”
[ This continues for a little while longer until you are faced with the unexpected. ]
A unknown boy asks you, “Truth or Dare?”
You reply, “Dare.”
He says, “I dare you to kiss me.”
[ Your stomach immediately dropped. Everyone’s eyes immediately turned toward you. You didn’t wanna seem scared, but you were definitely scared. You push past your anxiety and before you know it you kissed some random boy. ]
“I see you y/n!”, Nobara exclaimes.
You smirked at Nobara’s comment.
[The game ended after a little while and you began to play other games. Unfortunately, you lost mostly every game. You drank about 7 shots altogether. You were completely drunk. It was your first time drinking and this was the day that you learned that your alcohol tolerance was extremely low. You remember laying on the couch alongside Nobara who was also drunk. It was about 3 1/2 hours into the party. Yuji approached you and Nobara. He wanted to check on you both. Your memory of what happened is slurred, but at some point Yuji decided that he wanted to take you and Nobara home because both of you were overly drunk. ]
[ Yuji took both of you to his car. Since Nobara’s house was the closest house, he took Nobara home first. He informed you that he had to meet someone before he dropped you off at your house and you didn’t mind. Yuji pulls into a gas station and not long after a car pulls in right beside us. The other car door opens and they approach the car. The driver’s side window rolls down to reveal your middle school crush, Choso Kamo. ]
{ In your thoughts } : There’s no way… I haven’t seen him since middle school. How does Yuji know him? Why are we here?
“Wsg”, Choso says dabbing Yuji up passing a small bag to him somehow at the same time.
“Yo”, Yuji replies.
“Who’s that in the car? I can’t see them”, Choso asks curiously.
“Oh that’s y/n. Don’t you remember her? She went to your middle school.”, Yuji replies.
“Word? I haven’t seen her in a long time”, he says starting to walk over to the other side.
[ The passenger seat window rolls down slowly and you look up to see him. ]
“Hey y/n it’s been a minute”, Choso says to you in a welcoming tone.
[ I never thought that I would see him again. He’s gotten so much older now and you still find him attractive. He got taller and his voice was deeper. You’d never think that eye bags were attractive until you saw them on him. You didn’t have any goals until you ran into him again; your goal became to successful plot on him once again. ]
“Hey, I thought I’d never see you again. What have you been up to?”, you ask him with a slight smile.
“Well…”, he sighs.
“I planned in middle school to attend college now I’m serving everything in the book. I never thought I’d be doing this. I’ve been working part time jobs as well as of recently”, he replies.
“Do you smoke?”, he asks you.
[ You knew you didn’t smoke, but you needed an excuse to see him. This couldn’t be the last time you’d interact with him. ]
“Yes”, you lie to him.
[ He hands you a small paper with his information. ]
“I have a special discount for you if you become my new client”, he says smirking at you.
“But besides that, what have you been up to,
y/n?” he asks you.
You reply, “I’ve just been in college. Nothing much has happened yet.”
“Awe okay… Well it’s nice to see you again, but i have to go. See you y/n” he says as he waves at you and Yuji.
[ You both wave back and Choso gets in his car. Yuji pulls off and starts making his way to your house. ]
“Hey Yuji… how do you know Choso?” you ask.
Yuji replies, “Choso is my half brother.”
“Oh wow…”, you reply in shock.
“Why’d you ask?”, Yuji asks you.
[ You couldn’t say that you wanted his own brother. Well… you could’ve but you didn’t. ]
“No special reason”, you tell Yuji.
[ After a full day, you finally make it home after Yuji drove you to your house. You thank him and walk into your house. You immediately fall into your bed. This was the start of a new beginning. ]
