COMING BACK WHENEVER KINGDOM HEARTS III COMES OUT.
"It's a promise."
"Hey birthday girl, do I get a kiss...?"
{ out of dawn } Man I remember when I used to come here all the time! Umm, I'm a bit preoccupied with my Noctis muse and Guy muse at the moment, but I'm gonna try and get to whatever I have here in due time! And maybe I'll try and make group starter, maybe... QuQ !! Sorry for being so MIA these days! One day I will sit down and do all these replies I have, I swearrrrr!!
ćććĀ / ā„
the knight's artist
Once upon a time, not so long ago, there was a keyblade wielder that bounced around all different worlds in order to restore the light and eliminate the heartless. Towards the end of their adventure, the keyblade wielderās heart divided and he realized that he had the soul of his childhood friend and goofball, Kairi.Ā
NaminĆ© shaded in the last blotch of crimson, the tone of the wielderās friend. A single swirl, and it was complete. A memory complete. The sketch was compiled of Kairi, lying on the ground, her heart directing towards the center of her chest. A small smile surfaced on the angelic skin of the nobody, but a sigh was quickly replaced.Ā
Eyebrows knitted as she gingerly placed her sketchpad on her table.Ā āMaybe if I didnāt lure Sora to Castle Oblivion, I wouldnāt have to be piecing his memories back togetherā¦āĀ She thought, reflecting upon the events that have happened almost a year ago, when she finally was face-to-face with the boy her heart was connected to, the care taker of her own being. The reason of her existence wasĀ becauseĀ of him but, he wouldnāt be sleeping if it wasnāt for her greed.Frowning, she buried her face in her hands, attempting to clear away her endless bubbles of thoughts.Ā
Hearing a knock, she wondered who it could be. Well, it was either going to be Riku or DiZ. Taking a quick glance out of her rather, large, window, the blonde calmly walks to the frosted gateway, sapphire optics widening at the sight of Riku. Also known as Soraās ally and partner.Ā āAfternoon, Riku.āĀ Stepping aside from her current position, she allows space for the male to enter, if he wishes.Ā
Riku was also Soraās guardian during his slumber. She spoke in a rather soft voice, her arms dropping, her fingers brushing alongside the smooth fabric of her white dress. AlthoughĀ NaminĆ© admits that she is going through much at the time, it wouldnāt hurt to ask of the otherās well being. After all, he did sacrifice much of his time to be here in the mansion by protecting Sora, creating a Ā safe barrier between theĀ Organization, and also giving her the endless time that she needed in order to clean up the mess she made by restoring the rest of Soraās memories.Ā āRikuā¦? How are you doing? Has DiZ discussed to you about anything?āĀ
"It suits you." The man's voice reverberated throughout the cramped studio, with snippets of his tanned face aglow from the computer screens that flickered in the background. Riku found himself looking past his longer silver layers and down at his new coat. Black and stiff: yes, perhaps that was what suited him better. Having such light hair for someone so dark and sinful such as him wasn't right; if anything, it was a curse. Black would always have been a better shade for him.
DiZ swiveled back around to face the multitude of screens at his fingertips. "Now, as to what you have to do. You must make sure that both Roxas and Xion are returned here, so that the witch can return them and the memories they harbor back to Sora."Ā His head bowed if but a little, silent for a few. "And once both have been properly restored...you must dispose of her."
He turned to look back up at the enigmatic man, eyes raised in surprise. The slight reflection from the main monitor was enough for Riku to see the man's eyes slant to the side. "I trust you will be able to do so." But whether he meant the first part, the second, of both was beyond him. Nevertheless, the silveret decided not to answer and instead headed back up the stairs and to the musty library of the mansion.
To kill someone he had just met, even if it had only been for a few? True, he had only really talked to the blonde a few times. Perhaps the only important thing he knew about her was that she was Kairi's Nobody. But to be called a witch for having powers? He saw nothing wicked about someone who had been forced against her will to hurt an innocent bystander. Nobody or not, she was still a person -- wasn't she? And as he climbed up the dusty steps and knocked on the white door, Riku found his lips forming into a thin line.
Like hellĀ he was going to kill her.
The door opened, and an almost-spitting image of his childhood friend greeted him. The girl was quick to skitter to the side and offer a polite greeting as his black shoes clattered onto white tiling. She looked tense; scared almost. As if she knew the bleak fate that awaited her. But then again, he wasn't too sure. When asked what had been discussed, Riku couldn't help but turn to look away, knowing full well his expressions would be easy to read right through.
"I'm...doing fine," he replied curtly. "And what I had discussed with DiZ is confidential. ...But, it wasn't really anything that important. Just the usual reported sightings of Roxas and Xion, and when I should set off to go look for them." He turned to look at her then, but immediately found his eyes flitting away over to the white walls. "How...are you doing, though? Which memories have you been working on?"
Weāre gonna die Ā Ā Ā Ā Itās just a matter of timeĀ Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Hard times come, good times go I'm either gone in an instant Ā Ā Ā Ā Or here till the bitter e n d .
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā -- lyrics from Death Valley
FιŹst Tιмe's A CнaŹm.
Shiki had forgotten how annoying these boots were. Ā Well, she didnāt even know in the first place, because she had no memory of anything prior, including her clothesā pros and cons. Ā The girl still had the fashion sense, but there was nothing she could do to change her current clothes. Ā
With the loss of memory came the loss of being used to these boots. Ā Her feet screamed in pain with every step, and she felt extremely bad for the guy she had dragged with her around this place. Ā He was way ahead of her now, while she lagged behind, limping. Ā Poor guy must hate her now, but she really didnāt want to be alone in this place, not when she was literally defenseless. Ā All her power had been used up in fighting prior mobs.
How did she get involved with this boy - no, Riku - in the first place? Ā Oh, it was because she was out of power and a mob of Dream Eaters decided that she was their target and so she ran. Ā And then he came along and suddenly she was making him her bodyguard, in a sense. Ā Well, to be more specific, she dubbed him a knight. Ā How romantic of her.
She blinked as she limped up to Riku, who had stopped. Ā Her irritation grew when he told her to walk faster if she cared about Neku. Ā His attitude overall pissed her off, it seemed like he made no effort to even care about things. Ā Or maybe it was a facade he had. Ā She wouldnāt blame him if he had one and him being cruel was just something that had built up over time.
āOf course I care about my partner! Ā However, a bleeding-to-death partner is less useful than a partner who only aches. Ā I donāt think youād prefer bleeding and unable to walk to pain and still being able to walk, now do you?ā she snapped, chest heaving up and down from the outburst. Ā Shiki glared at him for a few seconds before realizing what she was doing.
āā¦Sorry.ā she muttered, flushing. Ā āLost my temper back thereā¦ā
Shaky boot heels eventually wound up where he stood, along with a stern frown plastered across the girl's features. Riku's eyes found themselves raising in stark surprise; just then, with the girl's upturned lips and furrowed brows resembled so much of his redhead friend back home -- who was waiting patiently for him and Sora to return.
Kairi: this girl before him looked so much like her. Perhaps it was her layered red bangs and slim features that made her look so much like Kairi; or maybe it was just that smug attitude. Whatever it was, it was enough to make him take her seriously, if only for a minute to hear her shout at him.
Her words rang truth: sure, he wouldn't want to have to drag along a bloody partner. But then again, he wouldn't even let such a possibility happen, at least not while he was around. --Wait, there went his pride, puffing itself high up in his thoughts. The Keyblade Wielder shook his head, tossing his ego to the side for the time being. "Well, let's just be thankful that we both met each other at the right time and...didn't manage to get any major injuries." And he knew too, deep down, that he would never have deserted someone in need. The girl had been practically cornered at the door; and he would do whatever it took to redeem himself from his past sins.
Whether it was saving someone in a pinch, or even trying to get along with someone new.
"...No. I should be the one to apologize. I was overreacting and wasn't considering how you were feeling. ...I'm sorry." His tone was blunt, plain; it was the truth, after all. "I guess we're just both anxious to find our friends." Eyes trailed down to look down at her boots and her clattering knees. "But seeing as how you're hurt, we...should probably consider taking a break and regroup. Here."
He extended a hand out to her, as if to imply that he would help her shoulder her burden by helping her walk -- or to even carry her, if she wanted. He would go along with the knightly business; at least for now.
"I'll help you if you want, Shiki." And it was then, finally, that he called her by her first name.
āWhat Iām doing around isnāt any of your damn business, for your information.ā Though, despite being around people who used such language too often, she wasnāt the one to use it herself. She isnāt easily influenced, as other think she would be, but in this case, just seeing the sliveretteās face alone makes her to just, punch him in the face. Right here, right now. God, who did he think he was? To just step all over her like sheāsĀ nothing? Oh, one can be so nice for so long, until a face she completely despise show up. If he was expecting fear from the puppet, boy, is he wrong.
The wind picked up, the sand hitting harder against the puppetās pale face. So of course, naturally, she picked up from the hem of her hood, quickly hiding her face under it. Donāt wanna get sand in her mouth, does she now? The taste of it was horrible, she should know, she didnāt go that mission with Roxas for nothing at one point. A sandstorm practically brew in during their visit. Sand everywhere, wasnāt a pleasant time for the puppet. āAnd who cares if I get a scolding? Itās not like they can get rid of me anyway. Now back to my question, what do you want?ā
He canted his head to the side as she fired her attempt at a venomous retort back at him. Perhaps he was a little surprised to hear someone who resembled Kairi in so many ways using such words, but he came out of the ordeal unscathed and apathetic. Little did she know that her being here had everything to do with him; DiZ had entrusted both Xion and Roxas's whereabouts to him, while the blonde witch remained shut up in another dimension, slaving away at rekindling Sora's lost memories. In short, Xion's business was Riku's business, too -- but it wasn't like he was about to flat-out tell her that.
āAnd who cares if I get a scolding? Itās not like they can get rid of me anyway."
And it was then that the his blue hues widened. From the looks of it, her loyalties still remained tied to the deceiving Organization. And despite what they wanted to use her and Roxas for, she still managed to call home. It was hard playing the person who knew all the strings and spoilers. But even if he did tell her that the place she called home was no home at all, it wasn't like she would instantly believe him. He would have to convince her otherwise, and she would have to trust him in return -- and that was going to be no easy matter.
He blinked, hesitant. "I already told you that the crowd you're in is a bad one. Whether you like it or not, the longer you stay in there, the more you and your friends will end up getting hurt. That guy, Xemnas -- he's...--" Using you. "--Forget it. To answer you're question, I'm here to check up on this Cave of Wonders and make sure you guys don't cause any trouble in this world. Don't suppose you're after the stuff hidden in that place?"
FιŹst Tιмe's A CнaŹm.
The silveret craned his neck upwards to look at the colorful array of Christmas-like lamps that tangled Traverse Townās rooftops. He blinked up at the mixture of red, green, and blue, and wondered if they had been there the first time he had ever stepped foot in this lulling town. Though, from the looks of it, the place didnāt seem to have changed much, judging by the same street lamps that set the pathways aglow, and the same dark night sky that illuminated all infinite number of worlds that lay out of reach.
A vexed sigh escaped his lips as he turned to look down at what was now the newly built (or perhaps illusory) Fourth District. He wouldn't have to be in such a situation, scoping out a silent town with too uncanny a setting if he hadn't been separated from Sora. But, of course, fate or other had decided to make things difficult and had managed to split the two from one another. The boy's train of thought was soon severed as he heard the drifting sounds of slow footsteps from behind. -- Was she falling behind again?
Expression souring, the bewildered boy turned around to look at his new acquaintance. Despite his rather icy exit, the girl had persisted that she follow him and work together; hence, he was forced to drag along a rambunctious redhead all around with him for fear of having her get into more trouble. Figured.
Riku stopped abruptly, letting his soles skid to a stop. "You could pick up the pace, you know," he said, giving her a sideways glance. "I mean, you care about finding this...'partner' of yours, right?"
outofdawn;Ā Wow, so listening to these Piano Collection songs by Miwa Sato are really inspiring!! I can feel my creative muse juices flowing, ohhhh! * O * It's a bit of a shame I decided to come back now, because I just realized that many of the poeple that made me feel comfortable here have left for other fandoms and/or are just inactive, AND/OR just not here at all anymore without a trace. That's...really sad, wehh ; n ; Ahh, anyway before I mope more this is just a post-it of sorts to say thatĀ I switched up my playlist. Now I don't have the same song repeating over and over, ehe. @ u @ They are as follows:
"Death Valley" by Fall Out Boy
"The Sixth Station" fromĀ Spirited Away
"Entertainment" by Phoenix
"Amsterdam" by Imagine Dragons
"Riku - Scherzo e Intermezzo" by Miwa Sato
{naito-san called you a shamā¦}
āā¦.What are you doing here?ā The puppet spat out. Easy now Xion.
What was this? The fourteenth was here in the deserts of Agrabah? It seemed like the short-cropped Nobody just couldn't take no for an answer. True, his initial words to her might have been a bit harsh (calling her and her weapon fakes, no doubt), Ā but his biting reaction had been because his first glance hadn't been of the same female that stood looking defiantly at him -- it had been someone else. Someone important. Now, with the girl's head lowered and her brows furrowed, Riku knew full well that he was treading on thin ice.
"I could say the same for you, too. This place isn't where you're supposed to be for your mission, correct?" He had briefly remembered the location DiZ had told him she and Roxas was supposed to be; it seemed like was snooping around on her own. As for what, even he wasn't too sure. "Looks like someone sure is asking for a scolding when she gets back home..."
It's nothing...
