i’m sorry ive been gone a while but i’m not abandoning this blog, things just hit a slump for me irl and sadly rpc gives me so much anxiety i can’t bring myself to try and be here when that happens. i’m still not 100% but i’ve had some good news so i’m hoping to be back here very soon, i want to revamp all ben’s pages because it’s long overdue.

i totally understand if nobody wants to keep our stuff anymore but in the mean time i’d love to talk/plot on discord. i still think about ben 24/7 and would love to get some plots and dynamics for him even before i work up the courage to come back on here. it’s ray 🌷#4058 ! … oor honestly just liking this lets me know you might still wanna rp but any mutual can add me !

mini holiday/stress break !

hello !! just a note to say i'll probably be quiet for a little longer here, but i haven't gone anywhere ! things have just been a bit much with my own and my mother's health and the upcoming election, and the stress means i avoid logging in here because tbh as much as i love ben and writing him, i find in general i get quite anxious here with ( irrational ) fear of being hated or just general insecurity and comparing myself, so i think both of these things together is a little much atm. 

the election is a big deal to me ( not to go into details but we were made homeless by this government lol ), and it's not looking good for us so i don't think i'll be in the headspace to write for a little while. i really want to do holiday stuff though, and i might get the sudden urge to be back and distract myself anyways !!

              Ben wasn't expecting such a civil response. The impulsive anger that had caused him to snap instantly deflates, and his expression flounders, mouth opening then closing again. How did he know him? Right after he'd accused him of it, Ben was sure it'd just been a mistake, his temper short after a long day.   “   How?   ”

              Ignoring his question, Ben takes a step back. For a minute possibilities fly through his mind - was it something to do with his sister’s death? Some people liked to sniff around, his father's fame enough to deem the car accident that killed her worth investigating. If we ship something (or our characters otherwise have a very developed relationship romantic or not) know that I definitely want to talk about it. All the time. I am totally willing to talk headcanons, scenarios, do plotting, all of that– but I don’t want to seem like I’m being pushy by bringing our muses’s relationship up. I just want to know that if I do talk about that sort of stuff with our characters that I don’t come off as annoying… Or seem like all that I’m thinking about is our ship. If you do let me know it’s okay to talk about it whenever, though, totally expect me to send you anything I think of when it comes to our muses relationship! There’d certainly be no shortage of things to talk about. I just want to make sure that you’re just as engaged in it as I am.

When the customer walks through the door, TJ can see why he came into this abandoned, boring place. Don’t get him wrong— He loved his family’s business, it paid well and every day he found something new while wandering through untidy halls, but since it was mostly empty, it was a pain in his butt to spend it alone all day. At least, he had time for his daily research.

Clearing his throat, he gazes upwards quickly, sickly nervousness on the pit of his stomach. “W-Welcome to the Cornery Witch— Witches’ Corner. M’ sorry.” He laughs, eyes squinting. So intense. “What do you need ?”

             Some mothers liked a box of chocolates as a gift, or something starring Colin Firth. Genevieve was not one of these mothers. So Ben stands in the entryway of the shop, a little daunted by his surroundings. What exactly did you get the woman who made tree-houses for fairies, and sculptures of, well... he still hadn't figured that out. 

            Walking further through the halls, his gaze drifts over the displays. Everything seemed to be keeping some sort of secret, as if anything he chose would simply be the wrong item. The sound of a cough makes him jump, and he smiles a little at his silliness. Of course someone would be working here. He nods in hello, stepping closer to him.   “   I'm not sure, actually... I'm looking for a gift. She has quite an acquired taste.   ”
