Hiking Trail By River
I decided to go to a nearby trail. I remembered that the path lead to a church where I walked through the parking lot to another path that wound up circling back to where I started. I parked at the parking area and walked down the embankment to the river and walked until I got to a diverging path. I walked down it a short way until I reached a dirt ramp with a wooden rail. Here I laid my shirt knowing I'd be coming back and walked on in only shorts and flip flops. After I reached a suitable place I took off my shorts but held on to them in case I saw someone and walked on. I am a stickler for going empty handed but made an exception this time. The paths were different from what I remembered. I took off down one and ended up high on a grass covered steep hill over a road and an overpass. I saw a couple far down below briefly before they disappeared. I also had my iPhone with me and took a picture of that scene and other pictures as i walked. I walked back to the main path and kept going. I came to an area I recognized where there is a path running along a steep hill with the stream down far below. I emerged into a clear area. I put my shorts on the ground then walked nude almost to where the path stops at a road. I didn't go all the way to the end because I didn't want any passing cars to see me. I returned to my shorts and retrieved them. A little way down the path there is an intersection where a narrower path heads down the hill to the stream. I took it and made my way down. That path goes along the edge of the stream. I thought about getting into the river but the access is too steep. Still recovering from knee surgery I didn't feel up to it. I followed the path back up to the main path and retraced my steps. I finally found the right path to the church and followed up up to the entrance to the parking lot. Feeling weary and that I'd had enough adventure I headed back. At the same spot I'd stripped I put my shorts back on and then walked to where I'd draped my shirt on the fence and put it back on. Back on the main path where it is along the river I got to an area where people swim and there is a rope swing. Once again I was tempted to get in the water but once again the bank was too steep. I walked on and saw two girls wading near the bridge and wished trey could have seen me. As I walked up the hill to my car I passed a man walking down who had two poles and we greeted each other. He didn't know I'd been streaking. If I do this again I think I'll not carry my shorts. If I saw anyone they probably would see me so It might not matter, unless I convinced them it was an impulse thing.
