You just want to be left alone to wallow in the many facts that are bringing your life crashing down right at that very moment. The fact you have no family left in the world other than a constantly intoxicated, near abusive father, the fact that, between your cold indifference and your fiery, sarcastic annoyance, you don't really know who you are anymore and the fact you're an underage girl getting boned on a regular basis by your algebra teacher, simply because you felt like your life was already crumbling down to mundane nothingness and you thought, in doing this, it couldn't get much worse, right?
Well, it has. But not because of that. It's either because things in your life have spontaneously gotten immensely shittier, or you've just started to take your already shitty life closer to your heart than you'd ever normally let it come. You like to distance yourself from things, emotionally, mentally and, if possible, physically; it keeps you at an advantage, stops you from being nervous or slipping up. It makes you as perfect as you can get; at least, through your eyes, of course. To anyone else, you may be viewed as a heartless bitch, as you've been eloquently called many times before, but it's just how you deal with your issues.
And now, lately, it's not working. The barriers you set up around yourself are eroding, you have no idea why and it's frustrating you all over. Instead of making you happier and more emotive like one or five of your therapists have said, it's only making you angrier, and more aggressive towards even the simplest of movements or the most generic of remarks from anyone, anyone at all. You press the palms of your hands into your eyes and groan quietly.
You feel arms wrap around your body and a pointy chin poke into your shoulder, something that honestly takes you by surprise. You move your hands from your eyes and turn your head as much as you can to look at your 'tipsy' teacher, your face the picture of confusion, possibly some very, very slight endearment behind the windows of your eyes. Now you're practically certain he's more drunk than he said he is.
You know you said you didn't want him anywhere near you, but somehow, you can't stop yourself from turning over and moving on top of him, pressing your lips together in a firm kiss. Maybe the endearment is infectious.
