The only thing canon chapter 5 fucks over in Hoofprints AU is the fact that Ralsei can’t be at The Second Fountain anymore because without Kris opening it themselves, which they don’t get a chance to do in the AU, there is No Second Fountain to go to

I’m trying to write Ralsei out of the story because they Know Too Much about the dark worlds and I think it’d be more interesting if information that she would be able to give was withheld from the protagonists instead (sorry girl)
