you actually have a point about Ratau knowing about Woolhaven considering his connection to Sariel yet never mentions it to The Lamb not even once....ooooooooo Ratau.....

I'M SAYING LIKE!!!!!! tbh, my own thoughts on that were that it might be something he was sorta "sworn to secrecy" on (he was narinder's right hand man to my knowledge, in the way sariel appears to be yngya's...and if the two of them did have some kind of deal going on it'd make sense only those 2 might be aware of it, esp since i mean. sariel had to have gotten the idea for the rot ritual somewhere right.....?)

but i've also been considering it's possible it's that + also maybe ratau was aware of what sariel did back in woolhaven too w the rot thing...we don't really know When exactly ratau would have been acting as narinder's vessel or when the crown was taken from him specifically, and i feel like it's possible he could've reported back to narinder about it and That's when the loses the crown y'know. cuz narinder knows there's gonna be someone who can actually do it and takes it back...sariel specifically referring to ratau being "good" maybe being him fighting back w them and failing...idk this part is more of a reach than the rest and i'm not dead-set on it but it's an interesting thought!

(also! if you didn't sacrifice ratau and go to his hut he directly during woolhaven is like. very clearly lying about not knowing who yngya is lmfao. like he's stammering and going all "i have NOOOO idea what you're talking about hahaaa...." and then literally wishes lamb good luck w it all like. what do you KNOW peepaw..........tell me your secrets...............)

Like tbh I was thinking Ratau lowkey stopped making contact w/ Woolhaven after Narinder took back his crown for whatever reason and then post-yngya death Sariel reached out to him and it went like:

Sariel: Hello old friend, Sariel: Our goddess is dead and they are coming so we're going to take the world with us, I thought you should know

and Ratau is, rightfully, concerned about it.

But lowkey your stuff makes more sense then whatever half-baked potato concept I have

tbf i could see it going that way too! i think it was mentioned in the ama that marchosias went and dragged poor rami back for the gauntlets, so maybe it's possible ratau could have gone and found (or already knew even) where sariel's wool would've been and they spoke that way idk...lots of possibilities out there to play with!!

honestly ik i keep saying how much i love that woolhaven has given us in regards to showing that even a character like ratau isnt as "innocent" and clean as the fandom percieves him + it does genuinely make me feel insane that no one is talking about the implications that he def knew yngya and lied about it to lamb + yngya and narinders cults clearly have a defined path linking them to one another + sariels fleece having a red crown on it + sariel and ratau also blatantly having been friends in life (you know ill never be able to form an opinion on him but i gotta say. sariel calling ratau a "good person" is a red flag SORRY RATAU LMFAO 😭 old man yaoi who. i mean who said that) but like. you HAVE to listen to me folks this is ALL CONNECTEDDDD

i am so so so sure that yngya's beautiful mind and crazy rot lifehacks were the key to narinder figuring out how the ressurection ritual worked in the first place. bc why would he have allowed her to stay in the mountains Living Next To Him for so long and even allowing their highest followers to fraternize (while ratau is keeping secrets about knowing her mind you lmfao!!) when his siblings clearly had no clue she was there, esp if he was ALSO killing the other crownbearers as a bishop....unless he was getting smthn out of it. she wanted to prevent her lambs/culture from being killed off too....if they could be revived as well....

the whole lamb prophecy thing being an ironic call back bc she was involved the whole time in secret....that also being her own downfall on the scale of fate and such....LIKE AM I CRAZY ORRRR. do you UNDERSTAND MY VISION....is this thing on
