I could write a paragraph about how much I admire Sungyeol. How much I love him and how much I wish for him. I just hope he can continue to do what he loves to do with the people he loves in good health and with lots of inspirits.

Sunggyu ignored the smile from the boy who walked passed him; he was too preoccupied wondering into which house he’d be placed. He was getting impatient, it seemed he might be the last to get sorted. “Kim Sunggyu!” his name was finally called and Sunggyu nervously sat on the stool. As the Sorting Hat fell over his eyes, he heard as it deliberated; “Ravenclaw would fit you well, you certainly have the talent for it. But your ambition is strong… Slytherin could make you great. Hmmm, where to put you?” Sunggyu was getting anxious, it felt as though he’d been sitting on the stool for ages. Finally the hat exclaimed “Slytherin!” and as Sunggyu headed to his table, he found himself quite pleased with the Hat’s decision. As the last of the first years were sorted, the headmaster stood up to give his beginning-of-the-year speech…

The End! Phew, I did it! This took so much planning and painting, and most of it had to be done before I even released the first one ^^ Hope you enjoyed these as much as I enjoyed making them :3

There were only a few first years left to be sorted and Woohyun glanced around at the students still waiting. He caught the eyes of a sultry looking student who quickly turned away, and started tapping his foot, looking impatient. He didn’t know why, but Woohyun couldn’t take his eyes off the boy… “Nam Woohyun!” His name was called and he tore his eyes away from the boy and went to the stool. The Sorting Hat didn’t seem to think long and, as Woohyun expected, it shouted “Gryffindor!” and he headed to his table, smiling at the sultry boy on the way.

I don’t think I made it very clear but last month I was sexually assaulted by someone who I thought was my friend (I don’t want to talk about it don’t ask), and it’s… really fucked with my head. 

Had I known this a month ago I would have been able to get away.

It took me about a half hour to get down with practice, but once you get it, it’s an intuitive movement.

PLEASE NOTE: this is good stuff, but I also STRONGLY RECOMMEND that you find a way to PRACTISE this.

Whether they realise it or not, a lot of - if not most - women are conditioned to believe that fighting back is neither possible nor desirable. So for many women the immediate baked-in reaction in a high-pressure situation is to freeze, basically switch off and go along with an attack in order to minimise worse damage. This automatic defence mechanism is extremely difficult for your brain to go against, and it’s a big reason that most predators can coerce their target without exerting much effort to physically restrain them.

So... try out kickboxing lessons, or BJJ, krav maga, even rugby - anything in which you’re encouraged to actually make contact with an opponent. Learn the techniques, but also just learn how to hit someone, and be ok with someone hitting you. It’s difficult at first, but speaking from experience, it gets easier (and funner).

Training for a length of time has other benefits - I’ve watched as women have become a lot more confident in general, and assertive about their personal space (I’m that woman too). That confidence even has a deterrent effect on the type of predators looking for an easy target.

Final PSA: Don’t ever ask a survivor why they didn’t fight back. And if you’re a survivor who didn’t fight back, don’t add to the trauma by blaming yourself, this shit is practically primordial.

Dongwoo was more anxious for his sorting now that Hoya wasn’t there to distract him, and he couldn’t stand still as he waited for his turn. When his name was called he grinned widely and ran eagerly to the stool. The sorting hat deliberated for some time before announcing Dongwoo as “Hufflepuff!” and he headed to his table, giving a thumbs up to Hoya on his way.

As the other first years were being sorted, Hoya was barely paying attention; he was too busy joking around with his new friend Dongwoo, whom he’d just met on the Hogwarts Express, so he completely missed his name being called. “Lee Howon!” the professor called again, a bit annoyed, and Dongwoo pushed Hoya to the front. “Gryffindor!” the Sorting Hat shouted to the rest of the school, and Hoya walked to his table, high-fiving Dongwoo on the way.

The Sorting Hat seemed as if it were on his head for ages; it couldn’t seem to decide where to put him as it questioned placing him in every house. The hat finally made its choice and proclaimed “Ravenclaw!” and though it wasn’t the house he expected, Sungyeol smiled widely and skipped to his new table, happily greeting his new house mates.

Finally the professor called his name and he held himself high as he walked to the stool, knowing exactly into which house he would be sorted. Almost as soon as the Sorting Hat had been placed on his head, it shouted “Slytherin!” and Sungjong walked proudly to his new table amidst the slight round of applause.

The sorting hat was barely on his head before announcing “Hufflepuff!” to the Great Hall. Loyal, hardworking and kind, Myungsoo is a true Hufflepuff through and through, and at the hat’s declaration, Myungsoo grinned widely, jumped off the sorting stool and joined his fellow Hufflepuffs, Byul trotting along behind him.
