I donāt tend to post serious things like this but Iād like to make a request of all of you today: please stop telling Heechul to change his hair. As we all can see late last night he decided to shave his head, and even though his instagram caption was cheeky and sarcastic as usual, I think he is really feeling hurt. Heechul acts very confident, but on the inside he is quite sensitive to receiving negative comments and negative reactions, especially from fans. Remember that he considered leaving Super Junior over the hate he got after the U voice crack. Remember that it took him all the way until 7jib just to stop asking SM to take away his lines.
You might think āitās not like that, itās just a joke, itās fineā but do you really think he finds it funny to get the same ājokeā commented thousands of times on every one of his instagrams? And do you really think anyone can find it funny to be told that their hair is ugly by the people who are supposed to love and support them? Even though you might see it as a joke, please realize that you are bullying him. Even if you donāt mean it in a hurtful way, your words can really hurt him.
As Heechul has said, āIdols are here to entertain the public. We are not fish on a cutting board. Please do not cut us too harshly.ā If you consider yourself Heechulās fan, then please leave him positive comments no matter what he chooses to do with his appearance. Letās live up to our name as āeverlasting friendsā and support him whether his hair is long or short or shaved off.
