Linkin park - One more light / Chester's last show / Birmingham, UK 6 July 2017 Rest in peace Chester, we will always love you, we will always remember you. ...
I watch video from the last concert and cry...I still can't believe that he is no longer with us..my heart is broken.Rest in peace Chester! We will remember you forever!
Morrissey's Quotes Modern books are usually publishing events and not literary events, and I've attempted to write a book that will have meaning for a very long time. Generally, modern autobiographies are launched as sensations but are forgotten by the following Thursday - usually just before lunchtime.
Yes, I’ve had a lot of health issues to put it mildly, but they come and go — as we do, which makes me no different to any other human.
I absolutely recommend vegan milk alternatives, which are fantastic. As we all now know, dairy farms are hell if you happen to be a cow. There's enough misery in the world without adding to it by buying cow's milk. Amen and hallelujah.
Life is, in actual fact, absolutely melancholic, so therefore there's instantly a common truth in expressing melancholia, whereas not many people can relate to the assumption of compulsive happiness. We all die ... which, on the face of it, isn't terribly funny.
In a sense I always felt that being troubled as a teenager was par for the course. I wasn't sure that I was dramatically unique. I knew other people who were at the time desperate and suicidal. They despised life and detested all other living people. In a way that made me feel a little bit secure. Because I thought, well, maybe I'm not so intense after all. Of course, I was. I despised practically everything about human life, which does limit one's weekend activities.
Well, the problem I've had with all the interviews I've had in America - I had meetings with about nine labels - and they all say to me "Will your new songs fit in with what is popular and what is in the chart?" And I say "Good God, I hope not!"
I'm a sensitive little thing and I'm very interested in poetry and the poetic side of life, and so obviously it's hard in modern life because there's no poetry.
I’ve never been typical and I’m not servile, and this makes me far too difficult for the media to bother with. I’m repeatedly asked to justify myself, but that’s OK, even if the very liberal tolerance afforded to pop artists with nothing to offer. Ed Sheeran, for example, is deeply annoying. I think the media will attack you because they’re convinced you can take it on the chin. I’m generally assumed to be Âaggressive even though I am quite the opposite, although, yes, I certainly have a chin. I can’t deny that.
I think if I wasn’t positive then I wouldn’t ever get out of bed. But I also think it’s positive to fully understand the mechanics of the human race, and for the most part they are stupid, ignorant and destructive. Earth would be a much better place without humans and it is actually dying solely because of humans. Elephants have not destroyed the planet.
Although I don’t have anything against people from other countries, the higher the influx into England the more the British identity disappears. So the price is enormous.Â
For me it did never get better, I've had it [depression] for many, many years, it's in every thought, it's a black dog and it doesn't go away. And it's usually the very first thing when you wake up in the day or in the morning – whenever you wake up. There's no cure and I think it's a part of being sensitive, open human.
If I can sing, I am free, and no legislation can stop me .
I always feel trapped by life. When I heard the title Stop The World, I Want To Get Off, I thought - perfect.
I don’t ever practise and I never warm-up. I think you can either sing or you can’t, and no amount of concentration or whisky-avoidance will affect your power. My good friend Damien Dempsey has an incredible voice and he drinks 48 pints of Guinness every day.

IN AN OLD FAMILY ALBUM Ever again you return, Melancholy, O meekness of the solitary soul. A golden day glows and expires. Humbly the patient man surrenders to pain Ringing with melodious sound and soft madness. Look! There’s the twilight. Night returns once more and a mortal thing laments And another suffers in sympathy. Shuddering under autumn stars Yearly the head is bowed deeper. —Georg Trakl (1887-1914)

“Dig Down”
When hope and love has been lost and you fall to the ground
You must find a way
When the darkness descends and you’re told it’s the end
You must find a way
When god decides to look the other way and a clown takes the throne
We must find a way
Face the firing squad, against the odds
You will find a way
Dig Down
Dig Down
Dig Down and find faith
When you’re close to the edge
With a gun to your head
You must find a way
When friends are thin on the ground and they try to divide us
We must find a way
We have entered the fray and we will not obey
We must find a way, yeah
Dig Down
Dig Down
Dig Down and find faith
When they’ve left you for dead and you can only see red
You must find a way
Dig Down
Dig Down
Dig Down, find faith
We won’t let them divide, We will never abide
We will find a way
