Earlier this week I realized how far we have come in our DD relationship. I was in the middle of getting a paddlin’ for (perceived) rule breaking and rudeness, and @strict-consistent-wifey was using Elinor… a heavy thick bottom buster of a paddle. I must have been kicking and squirming (it’s only natural, spankings hurt) because next thing I know, she pauses. I was not getting a respite, wifey just pushed down my legs, threw her leg over and locked them in place, stopping the kicking and twisting immediately. Then calmly went back to lighting up my behind.
I was astonished. With no kicking, I had nothing to distract me, and was left with concentrating on the discipline. It put me in a place much like a “time out” in the corner, where only the punishment and the cause of it matter. I keep getting surprised by how juvenile this whole thing can seem… and how incredibly effective that is. Bad big boys are just misbehaving little boys who think they are to old to be held accountable for naughtiness. She is for sure using her authority over my behavior as effectively as possible, and keeps growing and refining all the time. I am feeling so positive about trying hard to be my best. I look forward to where we go next.
