Thanking the bartender when he handed him the drinks, he then turned his head to flash a smile at Nancy. “Oh not at all, no.” Xander shook his head, sliding the girl’s glass to her. “I got a margarita. I was going to go with a bourbon but I thought you’d probably appreciate something that wasn’t going to burn your throat off,” he joked.
“I do appreciate that,” Nancy said with a smile as she examined the drink in front of her. She raised it to take a sip before setting it back down on the coaster. Propping her elbow on the bar as she rested her chin on her palm, she turned to look back at him. “I wasn’t drooling when you found me, was I?”
