cut off one head...

She should’ve known something was up when her last partner had refused to give her debriefing details for a mission despite the fact that Dani had safely rested a whole clearance level above him; but how anyone could’ve seen Hydra coming was another question entirely. And yet here they were, wandering the halls with guns and a purpose—they were hunting down those who still pledged loyalty to SHIELD. Of course, being an field operator with a specialty in undercover ops, Dani had high hopes that she could safely maneuver any questions or threats they threw at her and convince them to let her live at least until she found a way out. Maybe she’d contact the Triseklion, or the Hub, and see what they recommended. As it was, contact in and out of the base was prohibited except on encrypted Hydra lines. But while Dani’s number one priority was her own survival, her exit path took her right past the science labs and she couldn’t help but stop in and check on them. The rise of Hydra had just started so maybe, if she was lucky, she could get to the scientists before they converted or died. When she reached the labs, though, they were empty.Letting out a groan of frustration, Dani turned to head back down the hall in search of a non-secured exit. Which is about the time she ran into a woman in a white lab coat. ♥♥═━━┈┈┈┈━━═♥♥
Panic had settled in Tenka's heart when soldiers began storming the labs with guns and guarding the doors. Some of her fellow colleagues were hassled into another room or taken away. Or rather, they were all being taken away, some alone and some in groups. She had been standing at a lab bench when it all happened and her first instinct upon seeing the guns and soldiers was to duck.
She hid under her bench, clutching a set of files, her work, to her chest and tucked herself under the large workspace. She prayed that they didn't have a list of people present in the lab, prayed that they won't search or open fire...Eyes squeezed shut and barely breathing as she held her breath, she heard orders being given and murmurs of concern from her colleague.
She didn't know what was going on....All she knew (from what she was told) was that Captain America had gone rogue and whatever other pieces of information were being passed around....None of the scientists had high clearance (at least, those of her lab) so they were told on a need to know basis...
One second, things were fine...The whole rogue thing and stuff didn't really bother the lab rats, they were only to be concerned with their work...Then suddenly the lab was stormed and harsh words were exchanged. All she caught was HYDRA and some other pieces of phrases...Questions rang in her mind but one the lab cleared of soldiers and scientists alike, she took her chance and peeked over the top.
A sigh of relief left her lips and she scurried to get away. But no matter where she went, her exits were all blocked. No where to go but back where she came. She clutched her files like it was her life; mind busied with escape plans, she didn't pay attention to her surroundings and walked straight into someone.
Snapping out of her daze, the first words out of her mouth was, "Don't shoot!"
